I can't exactly remember which sushi rolls we got, but we for sure went all out. Of the 3 I ordered for myself, the spicy salmon roll stood out the most. Unlike other sushi joints, the salmon in this roll was cut into bigger pieces with less sauce -- it was more about the FISH and it stood out. It was very fresh and not fishy at all. Bar none the best salmon roll I've ever had. The decorations were great and unique. I loved the cherry blossom trees and the wall of figurines! The service was great as well, our server was attentive while the busboys were quick to clean our table. We even received a free dessert for our milestone! They also had someone walking around with accompaniments for our water. The only thing I can really nitpick in this department is the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, yet they sat another couple directly next to us. The restaurant is very close quarters. Our waitress was fantastic: very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the meal. The only service issue we encountered was that the busser cleared one of our plates before we had completely finished eating, which made us feel a little rushed. Overall, it was a great dining experience with outstanding food, excellent service, and a sophisticated atmosphere. While the prices are high, the quality of the sushi makes it well worth considering for a special occasion.
