Was a little misled bc this isn't a legit Mochinut chain location, it's a store called "Sweet Donut Time". I think it used to be a Mochinut location that was taken over by this mochi donut shop based on looking at older reviews. But.. I think this might be even better?! My sister and I both got a Dubai chocolate mochi donut and it was soo tasty. It cost a little more than the other donuts ($5), but it was well worth it. They didn't skimp on the pistachio cream and kataifi, and the flavors went so well with the donut. It was probably the best donut I've ever had tbh. Although the donut base could be a little fresher, it was still so good bc of the combo and amount of toppings. FYI the parking is free but the lot is small, I was able to find a spot pretty fast tho. The store is also really small, however the workers were very friendly! Made with mochi/rice flour, these donuts are lighter than your traditional donut, and also somewhat chewy in texture - in the best way (think tapioca but airy and light - or another apt comparison - like pao de queijo, but sweet and minus the cheese). But be sure to eat them fresh, because day-old mochinuts do not have the same enjoyable texture. I got a dozen mochi donuts for $30. If you only get 3, it's $9 so it's cheaper if you buy more. All the flavors are pretty light so they weren't as amazing as I was hoping for. I actually think it's better room temperature than if you microwave it. Strawberry: This was the favorite of the family. Honeydew: This was also good and interesting. Walking through the streets of K-Town I found this little donut shop. It's different to any donut shop in K-town and definitely worth the try. You can't buy single mochinuts but you can get 3 for $9 and so on. The milk tea boba was extremely sweet for my taste but it seems to be a popular choice. They have other options as well. The hot cheetos hot dog was messy to eat but filling. We only got half way to it but it was worth the bites. The highlight of the shop are the donuts. I highly recommend the guava mochinuts.
