Shout out to Jen for recommending the double chocolate cookies. I came here on a Wednesday night, and thought they were all out of the white chocolate ube cookies, but was pleasantly surprised that they were just hiding in the back. These cookies are delicious and I could eat them everyday. Every. Single. Day. However, there is one downside. They are not served hot. If these cookies were served hot they would be delicious. I love the ube cookies and many of the other ones but what keeps this place, to me, from a 4 star to a 5 is that the cookies are served cold or room temp. I would love a hot warm gooey cookie with milk. This place does not have that. Don't get me wrong these cookies are good and even great but all it needs is to be kept warm and it would be that much better. read more

At first glance, the colors and signage definitely pop and grab your attention, making you just curious enough to walk over and ponder their offerings. Oh am I glad that I did. I tried the ube white chocolate and the cranberry oatmeal cookies. There was no option to have the cookies heated so I was skeptical, but when I bit into them they were still soft, chewy, and just the right amount of sweet. I will say the ube flavor was subtle but by no means am I complaining. Quite delectable. Service was phenomenal. I'm no longer certain that the name Sweet G's is more pertaining to the cookies or the team! The cashier Geli was an angel and recommended me a few flavors. As indecisive as I was I didn't feel rushed to complete my order. Then the owner (I think?) James came out from the kitchen and offered me an extra free cookie on the house which made things easier lol. All in all, I'm not one to have much of a sweet tooth, but I'd 100% come back for when I do have the occasional craving. read more

First time here and Geli was our cookie expert! She was super sweet and friendly. She answered all our questions and suggested which cookies would pair well with one another to help make our selection easier. We settled on a four pack of cookies and ordered the ones she suggested, they were super good! I'll for sure be back to try the other cookie flavors I did not get. We got the chocolate chip, oreo, snickerdoodle, cornflake marshmallow, ube white chocolate, and oatmeal raisin. My favorite was the chocolate chip and ube white chocolate. I was hoping I wouldn't like these cookies because they are not cheap at $5 per cookie, but I was blown away by the ube one. It's a huge cookie but they get the baking perfect so that it's amazingly chewy on the outside and soft inside. It's become my new standard for what a perfect cookie should be! read more

The last couple of times I went to Sweet G's, I encountered problems with the same cashier. She speaks English well but doesn't understand English. She didn't know how to apply the $10.00 off coupon that was on my receipt from a previous order, or how to log into the app to apply it. I ended up paying full price and she didn't even care to package my cookies correctly to keep the Reeces cookie from smearing on the other cookies she put in the same box. The cookies are good, but the lack of customer service is definitely not worth the drive from LA anymore! read more

Expensive, but everything is nowadays. Delicious gooey cookie, if you don't like under baked slightly raw center you won't like these. Crispy edges, my type of cookie. Tip percentages are high but you can put no tip or custom if that bothers you. Ring a bell to get attention, I noticed this bothers people but it makes sense. Would a business owner rather be paying their employee's to what I'm guessing is prepping/cleaning/baking in the back or standing looking bored in front when they have many down times. read more

Loved the cookies we brought. The worker was so sweet and understanding. We went on December 16 at 11am. We had just gone to phoholic and had a horrible experience and decided to get a cookie. I got a Cookie Monster and my boyfriend got the pb and J. The cookies were soft in the middle and crunchy on the outer edges. The perfect way to bake cookies! Love this place! I tried the double chocolate, chocolate chip and ube white chocolate. I was expecting to like ube the best but actually prefer their chocolate chip and double chocolate. Love the texture of the cookies because it's crispy on the outside and warm and soft in the inside. My only recommendation for this place is to lower the price of their cookies. It's about $4 a cookie which I feel is a bit pricey but they do have deals if you buy them in bulk. Aside from that, I definitely recommend trying this place out if you're craving freshly baked, high quality cookies! :) read more

What can I say about sweet g's. Omg to begin with the how awesome does this place looks. I've gone to other cookie and dessert places and there's just no creativity. I mean I get it minimalist places just focusing on their craft and blah blah blah. But it's 2023 you got the times. People are wanting to be satisfied in all facets. Not just by the food their buying but you want to be pulled in by the location also. If you went to a place with the best food ever but it looked like a run down shack would you still eat there? Anyway. The staff is another thing. They're amazing! To not only have a beautiful location but have the nicest staff you already won me over. Do I even need to talk about the cookies anymore? 5 stars on the cookies. To stop boring you I'll cut it here. But go on the weekends and get a cornflake marshmallow cookie. AMAZING!!!!! read more

Anyone who really knows me knows that I am the absolute biggest cookie fanatic on the planet earth. I love all types of cookies and this place really hit it out of the ball park for me. What's my favorite order you ask? The popular ube white chocolate! It's so rich and creamy with the white chocolate bits and it's ooegy gooey in the center just like a majority of people like it. But don't be upset if you're not a fan of that type of texture, there's a crunchy edge to it from being baked in the oven. The ratio of cookie to toppings is perfect and I guarantee you'll be coming back for more. Plus the more you order, the more you save. Not only is it cheaper per cookie by ordering a box of four or six or more, but you can also sign up for rewards to get free cookies over time. I tried the chocolate Reese's cookie and I loved how it was crispy on the outside but soft in the inside! The cookie was a good size and I thought the price was reasonable. I also really enjoyed it warmed up. My only complaint is that the worker put it in a sleeve so all the chocolate got everywhere making it really messy to eat. However, I would come again! read more

Cookies are lack luster for the price. They have a great consistency and size, but the flavor is super light. We got the Ube white chocolate and the cranberry oatmeal. The ube had a good amount of white chocolate chips, but you could barely taste the ube at all. The cranberry one was better but I still wanted a bit more flavor. read more

Looking for something sweet after the meal you've just had? STOP! Look no further because Sweet G's has the best cookies in the OC area! I admit I was a bit skeptical at first seeing as though each cookie is nearly $5. But man, they are worth it! I wouldn't call myself a cookie connoseiur, but these cookies hit all my checkpoints. The nice and crispy buttery edges, the soft and chewy interior - they're delicious! My favorites are the ube white chocolate chip cookie and the oreo cookies. Honestly, they're so big that I like to share half with my husband then save the second for later or another time. They also hold really well. I was able to airfry one of my cookies the next day, and it tasted just like it was freshly baked. If you're sensitive to sweets like me, they pair really well with cow's milk and oat milk. Similar to 85 Degrees in layout and business model (grab room temperature sweets and savories what you want from cases), and coffee, cakes, slices in refrigerated cases. PB also has an extensive drink list made to order. However unlike 85 Degrees, nothing is restocked after opening. I came around 5pm on Sunday. The baked food cases were more than half empty gone. Same for most of baked goods along back wall, including cookies and bread. Their baguettes seemed fresh but lacked enough crunch that I like. PB also has prepackaged meals - sandwiches and wraps. Starting at $9, I'm not taking a risk buying potentially a mediocre meal given my dissatisfaction with the pastries. They have fancy sweets like Dubai Chocolate Mochi Donuts, and Orange Cronut. Raspberry Nutella Round Croissant. You've seen them, shaped like wheels. Mine tasted a day old. The raspberry filling was too sweet and thick. (Artificial) Crab Cake - Big with good crunch but tasted much better the first time I had it. Mixed with veggies. Almond croissant- An example of deceptively good appearance. While flaky, it didn't taste buttery or light and airy. And the almond filling just tasted sweet. No trace of almond. The space is big and pretty cozy. Tables outsides on both sides of the business. Kudos for having both customer and pick up parking spaces. I'm willing to give them one more try. My sweet tooth wants to think they sell a few good items.

Oh my god.. it was THE BEST! It was so smooth and the strawberries/syrup was so fresh. It was the best sweet treat to have after a long day. My friend got the matcha one (not pictured) and that one was lovely as well. Once I had finished mine I realized I should have been like my friend in the back and got the large size haha. Will come back the next time I'm in town!

So we decided to go with Calamansi cooler and the Ube milk tea with oatmilk for the drink. They were delicious. We also ordered the Leche flan ube cheesecake and it was teally good. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The decor is pretty. Pretty good space and seating. I think the price is fair as well. We will need to try other drinks and baked goods next time. Actually have to try their coffee or maybe the Milo milk tea. Very impressed with this cafe.

During the visit here, I was able to try their goodies and drink. The $3 drinks options were awesome. We ordered the jasmine calamansi. It was so good and refreshing. Would totally get it again. My friend got the Ube cheesecake. I tried a bit. It was soooo good. I wanted more but too shy to get more hahha The Ube bread pudding warmed up was super delicious. I was told that it was one of the best. I agree! It included Ube ice cream. Could get it on the side or on top of the bread. Not a big fan of the Ube ice cream. Will definitely try other items. Was a bit sad that the flan Ube and turon pop tart was sold out. Gonna try to get it next time =]

This is probably the only business so far that I have seen offer mango float so I was very excited to try it and it definitely surpassed my expectation! There seems to be some confusion regarding the two different Best Donuts located in Stanton. This…read morereview pertains to the Best Donuts on Beach Blvd (Beach and Lampson). It seems that for the last few years, people have only been posting reviews for both Best Donuts (the one Beach Blvd and the other one on Chapman Ave) on the Yelp site for the Chapman location. Again, this review pertains to Best Donuts on Beach Blvd. The shop is very spacious inside. There is a large donut counter on one side and drink refrigerators in back. Like a lot of Asian shops, there are lots of miscellaneous little items to buy. I had a Croissant with Ham, Egg, and Cheese. I was asked if I wanted added jalapeños, but nothing else. The sandwich was very good, with a slightly sweet croissant and lots of sandwich fillings. I could see myself ordering this again. I didn't try any donuts but they looked generally fresh and there was a good choice of product. There were several sodas with twist-off tops, but none that were sugar-free. I ended up getting a bottle of water. Virus protection efforts here were rather casual. There is a short plastic barrier near the cash register, and the gal working here wasn't wearing a mask or gloves (contrary to current OC safety provisions). They can do better. UPDATE: This shop now appears in Yelp searches. I believe that it did not appear in Yelp Searches for several years because for some reason it had been labeled as "Closed". That meant that the other Best Donuts, in Stanton, started getting reviews from both locations.
