(IG: foodwithdeni) We ordered Oreo, Ube White Chocolate, Cookie Monster, Cornflake Marshmallow & PB & J cookies (6pc). They offer a variety of unique flavors to statisy your cookie cravings! They display all the flavors and the staff were super nice and helped me choose my flavors. I personally liked their weekend flavor- Cornflake Marshmallow but as a Filipina I got have an Ube White Chocolate. I don't have a sweet tooth but I devoured the cookies. It comes in a cute box to store these HUGE cookies. Thank you!
Always pass by this spot and decided to give it a try! They have unique and delicious cookie flavors! The PB&J was an unexpected favorite for me, tasted just like the sandwich! Service was super quick (note you may need to ring a bell for assistance), and the aesthetic is super cute! Only knocking off a star since I feel the price is a bit high per cookie.
So far, everytime I've eaten at Rodeo 39, I've gone here to buy cookies and happy every single time. Everyone that I've shared them with also liked the cookies! My favorite would have to be the ube flavor. I love all things ube and this cookie hits the spot for me. Usually I'll eat half, but if it's ube, I'll eat entire cookie in one breath. Haha. Their cookies are thick, soft, and chewy. They're also big, about the size of my palm. You can tell they're baked fresh and made to be eaten immediately! After second day, it gets crumbly and a tad hard, but still delicious!
Make sure to ring the bell to get service the staff is usually in the back. Cookie itself is okay, they are made thicker and dense retaining more moisture but higher sugar. This is my preference in style of cookie. What really has had me come back is two of the cookies. The coconut pandan and ube white chocolate are definitely a must try. The ube flavor isn't overpowering but some might say it's faint. My personal favorite is the coconut pandan! Has chewy nata de coco pieces and it retains so much moisture through the baking process I don't think I've ever gotten that texture in a cookie
Sweet G's is located inside Rodeo 39 Public Market. Parking can be a tough situation, but if you're willing to walk, you should be able to find a space. Sometimes, we park in the back on the residential street and come in through Bearded Tang's patio. As you walk in the front door by Coffee Dose, head towards the right side. You should see the trays of cookies behind the glass. When we've been here, the staff have been friendly and helpful! Hubby & I love Sweet G's cookies too much! Every time we come to Rodeo 39, we grab at least a box of 4. As most baked items, these are best eaten fresh! My all time favorite is the Cornflake Marshmallow! The marshmallow isn't your regular store-bought type. This has such a delightful gooeyness that I absolutely love! We've had the Ube White Chocolate, Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Reese's, Double Chocolate, Cranberry Oatmeal, Funfetti, & Oreo. Maybe a few others, but I can't recall. The more cookies you buy (4 PK, 6PK, Dozen), the better the price. Some cookies are available only on the weekends, like my favorite Cornflake Marshmallow Cookie!! They also sell ice cream sandwiches now. TIP: This place is Cash-Free, but they will accept cash tips. LOL I'd love for Sweet G's to make a Gingerbread Cookie for the winter holidays. I bet it would be the bomb! If you're in the mood for a delicious cookie, or nearby, stop in and get yourself some!
I was at Rodeo 39 for lunch with my friends, and I saw heavenly trays of colorful cookies cooling on the counters and could not resist. They were calling my name! The owner, Geli, was so sweet, friendly, and easy to talk to. She said the ube cookie was popular, so I got a six pack: ube, pandan, double chocolate, snickerdoodle, Reese's, and chocolate chip. They are all really good quality, tasty, satisfying cookies! And, I consider myself a cookie snob, so that is saying a lot. The edges are perfectly crispy while the centers are soft, think of a slo-mo video of someone slightly tearing the cookie in half in all of its sultry glory. Mmmmm. You can't go wrong with any of their flavors. They all hit the sweet spot and will send you to cookie heaven. They are beautifully baked to perfection, packaged nicely in a white box with a window and logo sticker. With so much variety, this would be a wonderful gift for any occasion to friends and family alike. If you are craving a sweet treat, I highly recommend!
We walked by and saw all the yummy-looking cookies, and my cousin and I decided to each get a cookie. I got the Chocolate Reese's and she got the Chocolate Chip. I saved it for later, and even then, it was so soft and chewy. It was so good! My cousin also really liked her cookie, and liked how soft it was.
Their Ube White Chocolate cookie is my next addiction. Located inside the Rodeo 39 shopping center. Parking here can be a nightmare. You walk in and they're located near the front right. Their cookies are displayed in cookie trays. They have a handful of flavors with different rotating flavors. Today's flavor was coconut pandan. There wasn't anyone at the front counter but there is a little button by the register that you can press for service. Card only. I came here for their Ube White Chocolate cookie and OMG. It was AMAZING! There was a slight crisp on the outside but moist Ube and white chocolate chip on the inside. Not too sweet, just perfect. The cookie itself was pretty big, but I couldn't stop at just one cookie. I wanted another one. My only gripe is that it's $4.50 for one cookie but it's so worth it.
Sweet G's at the Rodeo Food Court is a cookie lover's paradise! With their vast array of options, it's a must-stop destination for me every time I visit. But let's talk about their snickerdoodle cookie - it's a masterpiece! The perfect balance of crunchy exterior and soft, chewy interior makes it a standout. Easily one of the best snickerdoodles I've ever had. Highly recommend stopping by for a taste of cookie perfection. Each cookie is around four dollars and some change which is pretty reasonable for me. Parking can be challenging, so please have patience.
Honestly? These cookies weren't bad. Pretty okay and not offensive. They didn't taste like anything special or amazing but they were decent. I can see people liking this if they're not into super sweet cookies since these weren't too sweet. Their set-up was cute and nice and I like their branding though! The person who got my order ready was sweet and patient. If I'm ever back around here, I'll give them another try.
If you're at Rodeo 39 and craving cookies, look no further than Sweet G's which is one of the vendors towards the front of the indoor food hall/shops ---chocolate chip cookie: loved the crisp edges and chewy, melty chocolate center I will be back to try the ube flavor next time but I was worried it would be sweet from the white chocolate chips, until next time! read more

Amazing cookies! I always have to get the Ube White Chocolate when I come to the Rodeo 39 Market. These are big, thick cookies and not cheap, but totally worth the price. There aren't too many places that you can get a really, really, really good Ube cookie anyway. read more

Visited their shop at Rodeo 39 this past weekend, and they had fresh delicious cookies for sale. Their pricing is pretty fair, 1 for $4, but we got 3 cookies for $12. The cookies are dense, soft, and all little crispy on the edges. We tried the oatmeal cranberry white chocolate, chocolate chip, and my favorite the double chocolate. They also had ube white chocolate and I think one more flavor that I can't member. Can't wait to go back for the vegan choco chip. The ladies were friendly with good customer service. The counter shop is located near the front of Rodeo 39 on the way out to the front patio where the Pho shop is located. read more

After eating all the savory and salty food inside Rodeo 39, the kids wanted to stop by for some sweet treats at this place. After coming here, I have a newly found appreciation for CRUMBL COOKIES. A lot of people say Crumbl Cookies are expensive, but it's actually reasonable compared to a cold, hard, mediocre cookies at this place for $4.50/each. My son and I got 2 of their cookies: OREO and PB&J. OMG, they're cookies are just shit! It was bad. I prefer slightly crisp on the outside, warm, and soft-and-chewy-inside kind of cookies. These were cold and hard cookies! It was such a waste of $10! Lesson learned, I'm sticking to fresh, warm, soft, and chewy cookies from Crumbl from now on. I wouldn't even dare experiment elsewhere anymore. read more
I just don't get the hype for this place. We just finished eating and wanted a dessert. I got the Ube White Chocolate and my bf got the Reese's Chocolate. The Ube one tasted like one big sugar cookie. I couldn't taste anything much except sugar! My bf's was just ok also. I didn't even taste it because it was a big melted glob by the time I got to it. We had to ring the bell for service. Quick transaction...not much to mention. It's just a counter to pick up from so not much of an ambiance either. We'll skip this place next time. read more

The cookies here are really delicious. When I went there I had to ring a door bell in order to get someone to come out of the bakery to order. Then when I ordered I asked which one came out last but all the cookies were cold. I think for most of them it is fine cold but certain cookies would taste much better warmed up. What...in the world...did I just eat?! Hey Beautiful People! Just like most of you, I appreciate a great big cookie that doesn't break the bank, but sadly, Sweet G's is not the place for that! In fact, their cookies are SO sweet that I'm still downing water an hour later to get the taste out of my mouth...yuck! (Yes, I was a fool & decided to try 6 flavors in one go, but you can't say I'm not devoted to food!) Anyway, someone obviously believed in their dream enough to open this place up or they had supportive people who couldn't bear to tell them the truth, but the rest of us should not have to pay a boatload to find this out. Times are hard, & you just gotta be worth it for 1st time customers to return. Good luck to them! read more

These cookies are HUGE!! Each was $4.95. It was fun cutting them into small slices and trying each one with my friend and discussing which ones were our favorite so here is my ranking: 1. PB&J Very unique, there was jam and peanut butter in the center. 2. Chocolate Chip I liked how theres chocolate chips all over, and then milk chocolate filling in the middle. 3. Ube White Chocolate I couldn't really taste the ube but the cookie was not too sweet which paired well with the white chocolate. 3. Cranberry Oatmeal White Chocolate Too sugary for my liking 4. Snickerdoodle Did not stand out too much to me. read more

I've been following Sweet G's on ig since it opened & I finally made a trip out to Orange County from the Bay Area & got the 6 pack & tried 1 of each cookie. Initially I thought the menu looked pricey but the cookies are big so I do think the prices are reasonable! & they also taste amazing! My favorites would have to be the oreo, chocolate chip & cranberry/oatmeal & my boyfriends favorite was the oreo and funfetti! We both also really liked the double choc chip & ube white chocolate, I do think the ube taste is very subtle & felt that we actually tasted more white chocolate than the actual ube flavor but it was still good! The vibes/aesthetics overall were super cute, staff was extremely friendly & after months of waiting to try Sweet G's it lived up to my expectations. I also got some stickers & the brown tote bag (super cute) & convenient for my flight back home to secure the cookies! This is my official go to cookie spot in OC! read more
So this is almost 2 reviews in one since I've gotten two orders from Sweet G's in the last month lol. The beginning of May, my gf and I were on DoorDash looking for a good dessert spot to order from. I normally hate big cookies because they usually have a crazy amount of icing or they're just too thick. Sweet G's seemed to look different than other cookie spots. Plus they have some amazing flavors. We purchased a 6 Pack of cookies. We were excited since they had our favorites; Red Velvet (mine) & Snickerdoodle (hers). After about 30-45 minutes, the cookies were delivered. I was pretty annoyed to find out the Red Velvet was removed and replaced with the Cookie Monster cookie. They had written on the receipt that the RV cookie is only available on weekdays. Pretty frustrating since that piece of information is nowhere on your Yelp page or DoorDash page. I was pretty disappointed considering that was my favorite flavor and I was given something not at all similar. Everything was good; I didn't eat the Cookie Monster though so that had gone to waste. Based on this first time and it being through DoorDash; I'd give Sweet G's a 3/5 stars. June 2nd was the 2nd time we had Sweet G's. We actually drove to the location within Rodeo 39 and went inside. It's a super cool/simple set up. I love it! My girlfriend and I got a 4 pack this time. One for each of us and I was taking the other to my grandma. I was excited to finally get the Red Velvet Cookie since it's only available on weekdays. But come to my surprise I STILL couldn't get it on Friday! Because if you look at their digital menu it says very small that it's available Monday-Thursday. That's not all weekdays, that's 4/5 weekdays so that specifically should've been written on my previous receipt when I tried to purchase a RV cookie. Once I was able to actually order I just got some of the same ones I had gotten the previous time. PB&J, Snickerdoodle, Oreo, and Ube White Chocolate. The PB&J is easily my #1 favorite, I wish it did have my jelly though. My #2 is the Ube White Chocolate. But who knows, maybe my order will switch when I'm finally able to try that damn Red Velvet cookie lol. But after this second experience I will say, Sweet G's is amazing & they're sooo delicious. I'd definitely recommend this cookie spot over Crumbl and all of those other competitors. Overall, The biggest issue to me was the fact that they don't have this menu information on any other app; like Yelp or DoorDash. So how was I supposed to know about RV cookies not available on weekends? And after finally going inside to the location it's not weekdays that it's available. It's Monday thru Thursday! That's not on the other apps too! That's why I took a picture of the menu, so others know. We as customers don't know, especially if it's our first time. Please post this information on Yelp and DoorDash. I don't know if you do or don't on Instagram but that information should be known everywhere. read more

Probably one of the best cookie spots in OC! I've been to Sweet G's twice now, and both times I've been met with incredible service. The girls working there are always so sweet! The cookies are amazing as well...perfectly soft and decadent. I've tried almost all the flavors and I think the classic chocolate chip is my fav. If you're ever at Rodeo 39, definitely pick up a treat from here. read more

I looooove soft cookies so much more than crunchy ones, and it happens that I've been craving them recently. I haven't tried Crumbl, Insomnia, Hudson's, or anywhere else that sells big fat soft cookies yet because I'm trying to stay away from sugar, but since I was here with my kiddo to eat lunch at Rodeo 39, why not? This is located inside the Rodeo 39 building, at the corner of Beach Boulevard and Garden Grove Boulevard. Chase bank is visible on the corner of this plaza. Sweet G's is on the right side when entering the building, behind the Kpop Star store. It was so hard to decide on which cookie to try as they all looked so good, but couldn't try them all at once since they're $4.50 per cookie. They also sell a 4pk for $17.00, 6pk for $22.50, and a sweet dozen for $42.00. We opted for the 6pk - ube white chocolate, snickerdoodle, oreo, chocolate Reese's, double chocolate, and funfetti. Sadly, they didn't make PB&J this day (the Friday that we went). Oh my they were yummy! And surprisingly, not as obnoxiously sweet as other cookies. I don't know how else to explain this, but they were pretty sweet, of course, but not as heartburning sweet, if that makes sense? The flavors were on the mild side too. My favorites were the chocolate Reese's and ube white chocolate. Kiddo 1 like the snickerdoodle and funfetti, and kiddo 2 like the oreo and double chocolate so something for everyone (hubs had no opinion and ate whatever was leftover, lol). read more

Sunday 1pm, grabbed a couple cookies for dessert. Rang a bell and was immediately met with fast and friendly service. The vibes were chill and the cookie display was mouthwatering. The green Pandan Coconut cookie hit the spot, 10/10, def recommend. read more

Happened to stumble across this spot inside Rodeo 39, the aesthetic of it, is very nice. Ordered an ube cookie, which to my surprise was very soft and delicious. It was that good, that it was devoured in seconds. Will be coming back to try the other flavors. The price is pretty fair and the cookie is very big. Recommend to anyone who happens to be at Rodeo 39. read more

Located at Rodeo 39 is Sweet G's Cookies. We tried the chocolate chip, chocolate chocolate, and ube cookies with white chocolate chips. All very delicious, great in size and it's hard around but super soft in the center. read more
Cookies are a little pricey, but they have fun flavors that are worth the try! I got chocolate chip, birthday cake, pb & j, and ube white chocolate. I wish the ube white chocolate was a bit sweeter but other than that the cookies were perfect! Definitely will come back to try more flavors! read more
The scots in me thinks no cookie could be worth $4.50. But I tried the Ube White Chocolate Chip and great Scott, it's worth it. Perfectly crisp on the outside and exactly soft enough on the inside, great hand feel and mouthfeel all the way. read more

Sweet G's, I can't get enough of your Ube cookies! Bought a dozen cookies but I made a mistake... I should've got 2 dozen because my family ate most of them and I was left with just one cookie. I savored every single ube-licious bite. LOL Guess I'll be coming back in a few days to get my daily cookie fix. Just want to say thank you for opening up in Rodeo. I can now satisfy my savory tastebuds with some Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken from Shootz and Birria Tacos at Buenos Migos, and then end off satisfying my sweet tooth with some delicious Sweet G's cookies! read more

My third time at Sweet G's! Never disappointed with their Ube White Chocolate cookies! The combination of Ube and White chocolate compliments each other! The outside is crunchy, the inside is goey. I highly recommend Sweet G's for anyone with a sweet tooth! read more
