First off. A place with all vegan ice cream?? AND soft serve. AND my non plant based friends tried and loved their flavor choices. The man at the 'side window, same options as the front window but on the side" clearly loves making people happy serving them ice cream. And this was some of the best I have had. The first place of its kind and a brilliant idea - EVERYTHING on the menu is dairy free, including ice cream, sundaes, and even milkshakes with whipped cream! Another thing that really impressed me was the awesome service from both staff working. We went on a rainy Monday and it was still busy. We got the chocolate brownie ice cream and wow... it tasted so good! There have been so many times where we've gotten nondairy ice cream from other places and it's just not even close to real ice cream. This place is the real deal! They also had so many flavors to pick from, as opposed to other ice cream places that usually just have lemon sorbet as their dairy free option. Absolutely in love! Ice cream is what I miss most when it comes to being DF and having 10 choices felt so indulgent I didn't know what to choose it was overwhelming. Everything is also gf which is a huge bonus. My favorites were cookie dough, minty Oreo, and S'moreo (only available in pint size). The cones were incredible, someone knew what they were doing when they put a healthy amount of cinnamon in the mix...heavenly!! The hot fudge was also to die for and the whole experience felt like a special treat. I happen to be in Dennis for work, and noticed Sweet Izzy's was only 10 minutes away and knew I had to try them! When I arrived at the window, I was greeted with a friendly face. I reallyyyyyy wanted to like this place. I'm lactose intolerant, so finding a dairy-free soft serve ice cream option is a dream for me! Unfortunately, it just wasn't that good. I got a soft serve vanilla-chocolate twist with rainbow sprinkles. The texture of the soft serve was more icy than creamy, and it wasn't super flavorful. Also, the girl who made my ice cream put wayyyyyyy too many sprinkles on it. It was more sprinkles than ice cream. All-in-all I am disappointed. I also thought it was really overpriced too. Thank you Sweet Izzy for bringing vegan ice cream to the Cape! This cute little ice cream shack is serving up all vegan and gluten free ice cream next to a trampoline area. You can definitely tell the ice cream is made with a coconut milk (everything has a coconutty flavor + whatever the flavor is) but if you enjoy that flavor you'll love this! I've tried both hard serve flavors and soft serve and I think I enjoy the soft serve slightly more (it's harder to find vegan soft serve) loaded up with toppings (esp. the raspberry sauce and choc chips!). The cannoli sundae on the "secret menu" is soooo good. I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes for ice cream even on busy summer evenings. Highly recommend :) read more

Got another twisted Izzy where you can pick 2 soft-serve flavors and 2 toppings. We did a medium of chocolate with Oreo and banana and it was almost $10 which is why I am going down a star. It is nice that they have a nondairy option for folks. The seating is right in front on picnic tables that have umbrellas to block the sun. Easy parking. I've been wanting to try Sweet Izzy ever since they opened! I follow them on Instagram and see their deliciousness every day. I finally took the hour and a half drive to the cape to try them out. The vanilla soft serve had a bit of a coconut scent or taste and my daughter may have regretted her choice, but finished her serving. Tip: If you're ordering the peanut butter sauce, know that it's thick, so better to ask for it on the bottom of your cup so you can control the topping distribution to get your perfect bite. This place is doing it right!! They have a small hut for ice cream with a couple picnic tables outside. They usually only use one window but have two in case the lines get long. After looking for gluten free dairy free ice cream and finding Sweet Izzy in Harwich, I drove two hours including traffic to get there only to find out they have changed the ingredients. While online everywhere it says they use coconut milk and almond milk when I arrived the signage says it is now coconut and oat milk. The staff verified everything is made with both. That is crazy with all the varied intolerances people have. It is great that some celiacs and gluten sensitive people tolerate oats however many don't. Genetically it is very similar to wheat and some people with immune disfunction are told it probably is mistaken by the body as wheat.
