Pros: Tons of dairy free options Huge portions Cons: - dairy free ice cream still tasted like soymilk/dairy free, didn't really agree with the reviews - portions felt too big, you get way more than what you pay for but was only able to finish 1/4 of a small blizzard so it felt very wasteful, consider sharing

This was my first time in probably 20 years enjoying a Blizzard, and it was fantastic! This place offers non-dairy milk options, which was a game-changer for me. I had a salted caramel Blizzard with peanut butter cups and Reese's pieces, just like old times before I became lactose intolerant. The service was quick and excellent. The prices were reasonable, as I received 7 items for under $45, which I consider a great deal. The Blizzard I had was sensational. I wish more places around my area offered these options.

"We pulled over for this" on our way back to Hyannis from ptown. We had already stuffed our faces for lunch but we all have a little extra room for ice cream. After reading some of the other reviews, I'm pleased that there was no line during our visit on a Friday afternoon in August. Ha Ha!!! I was impressed by the pure quantity of different flavors available as well as diary free options. I struggled to make a decision but ultimately went with a small red velvet in a cone. The small is a very decent (probably too decent for the scale) portion. The red velvet was creamy with chunks of red velvet cake in there. I don't think I've even ever seen this flavor before let alone tried it and it was nice to try something off the beaten "cone" if you will. There is seating on the deck outside with umbrellas. It is a great place to take an afternoon break with a treat.

I was referred to Ice Cream Cafe from some Orleans locals and it did not disappoint! The number of flavors available was almost overwhelming. The variety is unbelievable and the ice cream tasted as home made as it gets. I was told to try the banana ice cream, which at first I said ew? The staff offered me a taste test and I understood why it was recommended. It was AMAZING. I got a scoop of banana and a scoop of coco mint chip (also delicious) on a wafer cone. Do not be intimated by the long line here. The staff is quick & efficient. I waited less than 10 minutes for a line that wrapped into the parking lot. Ice Cream Cafe is a must when on the Cape!

We stopped here after Cape Escape Mini Golf for a little afternoon treat. This place takes covid precautions seriously (masks for all, calling customers in one at a time). I applaud their safety measures. They have only outdoor seating and it is limited. I would have given 5 stars for the ice cream but the outdoor seating wasn't kept up very well. There are so many flavors!!! My husband was bummed they were out of Key Lime but happy with his black raspberry consolation dessert. I ordered their dairy free soft serve twist and was delighted with how delicious it was.

All three sundaes ready for transport home.

Great homemade ice cream. The cake batter and red velvet were particularly tasty. Real cake mixed in. Highly recommend!

On our way up the Cape for a little lighthouse-hopping adventure, we made a lunchtime stop at Cibo,…read moreand wow--this place is the real Italian deal. The second I walked through the door, I knew we were in for something authentic. The air was filled with the unmistakable smell of fresh sauce, garlic, and quality ingredients. The vibe? Warm, casual, and confidently no-frills in the best way. When my boyfriend's mom asked for mayo and was kindly offered a side of house-made marinara instead, we knew we had struck Italian gold. I ordered the Caprese panini, and while I didn't love the bread at first glance, it surprised me--it was light enough to let the real stars shine: creamy, fresh mozzarella and that incredible homemade pesto. I actually finished the whole sandwich (a rare feat when most leave me full of nothing but bread). My boyfriend (and his parents) devoured their sandwiches without a word, leaving only a few crumbs and a slightly smug expression. We also split an arancini ball for just $5--and it was hefty. Flavorful and golden, though the cheese inside could've used a bit more melt inside. Still worth it, especially at that price. Cibo offers both made-to-order paninis and a full spread of pre-prepared Italian dishes that looked straight out of Nonna's kitchen. Think: lasagna, pastas, cold salads, and a take-and-bake section with house-made pasta and sauces. The gourmet coffee bar smelled like heaven and used fresh ingredients--no plastic creamer pods in sight. Even the dessert case looked like it had stories to tell. Aside from some Cape Cod chips and bottled Coke, everything here felt distinctly and proudly Italian. This is a spot that knows exactly what it is and does it well. 10/10 would detour for this place again.

I had heard a lot about Nauset Farms,…read moreOrleans and I have been waiting to compare it to either Wilson Farms (Lexington), West Falmouth Market (Falmouth) or Something Natural (ACK). Upon entry, I was surprised at how small the location was. I thought it would be bigger...but that is not a big deal. I entered in the front door and immediately made it to the side where the sandwiches were being ordered. One register and approximately 5 workers making sandwiches at a rapid pace. We ordered two sandwiches.....one was a chicken with garlic and herb spread and the second was a Roast beef with mustard and pickle on a sub roll. After paying, we waited for them to call our number. It was a good chance to browse the rest of the store. The meat section looked awesome....lots to choose from and the presentation was right-on! I did see the pies, which I read about, but we did not buy one. I am a big fan of apple pie so it took a lot to keep moving past the stacks of pies! There were many choices of craft beers throughout the store, as well. Our number was called in about 8-10 minutes, which is very reasonable considering how busy the store was. We went outside to eat at one of the many picnic tables. It was a beautiful day to enjoy a sandwich in such a great setting. The chicken with garlic and herb spread was first. I was not happy because I am not a fan of pesto. It was not what i thought I was getting. It was probably my own fault so there was not much I could do! We moved on to the Roast beef sub, which was excellent....great bread, Boars Head meat and just the right amount of yellow mustard Price was to be expected Parking was fine Service was on-time I gave 4 stars because I thought it would be better! Maybe I expected to much but 4 stars is not a big score....maybe next time I will return and get the apple pie, which will add another star! To be continued.......
