I will never use this company again. I received one the most rudest and inconsiderate messages from a business that I have probably ever received before (see for yourself; I have attached a screenshot). Not only do you pay for the actual photo session which is roughly $500 (no problem with paying that amount), but they want you to pay for the photographers parking as well! Literally no where on their website does it mention anything about a customer needing to pay for the photographer's parking. It's not that parking is so expensive rather it's the principle that this company wants to literally nickel and dime the consumer/customer who is already paying for the service. Samantha (Sam) from the DMV area was incredible! We had her come to our home on Friday, November 7, 2025 for our little one. She was on time and set up quickly. Sam took extra time to put our little guy to sleep who was wide awake and being stubborn. She also fed him and burped him. Her special techniques to calm him down showed how much experience she has with babies. She was flexible and accommodating to all of our requests and stayed longer to fulfill every single idea we had for pictures. When she arrived, she had all the professional and accessories needed! It didn't take her long to set up or break down. We had an idea of the looks we wanted per her message a few days earlier. We had a summer baby and her outfit suggestions were better than what we picked. When the baby was fussing, she was very patient took her time to calm the baby and the baby seemed to like her! She was very gentle the whole time, and was OK with a few family members coming in the room for a quick peek at the shoot. After giving birth along with the current situation due to COVID, Sweet Me Photography was the most ideal choice for a newborn photography session for my baby girl. Their business model is ideal for a new mom during these unprecedented times. The photographer comes to your home, wears a mask at all times and sanitizes their hands (ours also asked to use the bathroom to wash their hands!) to ensure cleanliness safety during our shoot. Additionally, each photographer only shoots 1 session a day in order to properly clean their props and equipment. Although you can also provide your own props, they have a wide selection to choose from as well. Our photographer was Samantha and she was truly a gem! Her bedside manner was excellent and she captured beautiful shots for us. She was very patient and was gentle with my daughter. I ended up buying additional shots on top of the 8 provided because they turned out so well! The booking process is fairly easy and the company does a great job with following up and confirming your appointment. They also provide detailed instructions on what to do prior to your shoot so your baby is comfortable. Since due dates are basically a guess, Sweet Me offers the flexibility of shifting your appointment as needed depending on when your baby arrives. read more

We had Samantha for our newborn photo shoot today and she was BEYOND excellent!...extremely professional, patient and gentle with our 12 day old baby! She went out of her way to show us different combinations and styles, and was very accommodating of our ideas as well. I want to really thank Sweet Me Photography for making this to happen for us with our "newborn-ish" baby due to coronavirus. I have been searching for a photographer to take photos of our newborn since he was born! I understand the caution everyone had to take which means closing their photographing session for a while. I was beyond thrilled when I got a message that Sweet Me Photography opened up again and they were taking extra measures to ensure mask was worn, sanitize props, etc. Our photographer, Chinyere was extraordinary! She was very patient with our son since he's not newborn, but newborn-ish :) She showed me some of the pictures and I can't wait to get the link! *Update: I was contacted by Sweet Me Photography & they said they had seen my Yelp review. They wanted to discuss where the "disconnect" might have occurred. I think I was pretty clear the "disconect" occurred because: 1.) never stating on the site all multiples must be forced to purchase the twin package. 2.) Where did the price increase for the twins package specify more time for the shoot or you get more looks? Last time I checked, it didn't. 3.) The invoice was changed from the customers request without discussing that change with the customer. They also said they "honestly never had anyone question it that way." Consumers should question significant price increases if the services listed don't seem to add up to the cost. This company doesn't get it. I'm a new mom and as they pointed out "twins are twice the amount of work," and require more time. While I'm sure they would like to chat and review their business strategy, but I've spent enough time on SMP. My advice: be honest & forthcoming with your customers. Twins will cost more and most of us parents of multiples get that but we also recognize the difference between paying more and greed. You lost a customer, better luck next time.* Edited original for length: This "review" of Sweet Me Photography (SMP) is given based on my experience trying to book a session, NOT because we purchased their photography service. SMP takes beautiful photos but as a parent of multiples... if you're thinking about this company, you might want to look elsewhere. I work in the media and thought their product was what were looking for. We recently had twins and wanted a newborn shoot. Ideally, we had two...maybe four outfits we wanted images of the kids in. We didn't want a big overproduced shoot and would even cut down the number of outfits to make that happen. We just wanted an image or two of them swaddled. SMP was fast to respond with a date. However, the date is only secured if you pay an invoice in advance. I felt this was reasonable and asked for an invoice. I made it clear in all our forms we wanted something basic and specifically the newborn package. We didn't need more images just a couple of good ones. However, when I received my invoice, I checked the package and I was put down for the twins package. I never received an email, text or call as to why a different package was listed on the invoice. When I emailed asking about the change, I received this response: "I'm sorry but if you have twins, the twin package is what needs to be booked. The newborn page is for individual baby's only. Twins are twice the amount of work and often more time so this is reflected in the price, but you are also getting more images. Please let us know if you have any other questions." However, this stipulation is never stated on the website. As any parent of multiples will tell you, we know all too acutely *just* how much work our kids are, especially in those early newborn days. And being in the media industry, I even understand them wanting to charge more for their services as shoots require set up, equipment (replacement parts), props and time in general. I don't fault them for that. However, it's was the price that threw me a bit, $300 more than the basic package for the twin package. It offers virtually the same as the first package, same amount of time to shoot but you get 25 images instead of 8. And if you have triplets, it's another $100. The email they sent said "Twins are twice the amount of work and often more time so this is reflected in the price" but the time for the shoot listed on the website is the same (2.5- 3 hour session). So, where is the extra time I'm paying you for? If triplets are $100 more, than you would think twins would imply an extra $100 per kid. Again, I think that's reasonable actually, but the package is $300 more than the basic package. You could say it's for preproduction costs (again It's reasonable to do this) but I never had a consult to discuss our wishes for the shoot. So, how would they know, outside of basic production, what was is needed for setup or time for our specific shoot? In the end, if the photographer feels like twins are that much extra work for them they are probably telling you the truth and I question their comfort level in the first place. However, SMP is confident enough to complete the twins shoot in the same amount of time as the basic package, so much so, they list it that way on their website. But, why would the company change the invoice with no explanation as to why...until you email and question them about it? Are you just after the money or do you care about the customer's wishes too? In the end, I went with a photographer that offered a free consult and explained their charges fully. Paying more when it's worth it is fine but be clear about what your charging for and why. Half of your business is more than the product of beautiful images but it is also about the service you provide those customers. read more

I am so incredibly happy with my experience using Sweet Me Photography. Booking the session was quick and easy which has a lot to do with their excellent response time to emails and just communication in general. We recently had our newborn session and our awesome photographer was Samantha. She was professional, friendly, and so wonderful to work with. I really enjoyed getting to sit back and relax in my own home and watch her work her magic with our baby girl. I didn't really have much of a vision for what I wanted for my photos, and Samantha provided plenty of options to choose from and styled the photos beautifully. We also got a couple of family shots with our other two children and our newborn and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the outcome. So the pictures came out great! But the photographer had a serious attitude problem... she barley talked and would dodge every question I would ask her. I also told her I wanted family portraits and she said "if we have time". Towards the end my newborn son started to get "fussy" what newborn wouldn't? It's a newborn.. a baby.. they cry! So what! Figure it out! I just paid a good chunk of money.. so she ended up only doing 4 poses.. and when she left she didn't even say bye she just slammed the door and left... when she first got there I was nice enough to help her take everything out of the car and she wasn't even thankful about it. Mind you I'm 3 weeks PP at the time and still in pain from my C section... and here I am still helping you unload tour car which I don't have todo, but I'm a nice person so I did. I also recommend this company to my friend and she had the same photographer named Heather... and she acted the same way with her. Again pictures were great! Thankfully... but she did not have to act like such a rude person especially if your job is working with newborn babies!! read more
