Cool waffle! Definitely more of a fan of the crepe over waffle but it was yummy. Pretty inside and plenty of seating space

Delicious sweet treats and plenty of fancy decorations for all the photo ops. Parking could be a little confusing but it's in front in the street or in the back that's covered. Taro, Ube, boba, they have it all here and it's decently priced. Don't expect anything amazing service wise. You order from a kiosk and your number is called. Drinks were good so if you're looking for dessert and in the area give them a shot.

The reviews about minimal customer service are accurate. Ordering is done through a kiosk and your number gets called. The staff were friendly when we got our drinks, but the exchange was brief. The space, though, is super Instagrammable with lots of playful decor. Parking is a little tight out front, with some extra spots along the side street. I ordered the crème brûlée taro milk tea with boba, and my husband got the regular crème brûlée milk tea with boba. Flavor-wise it was good, but my drink had a lot happening texture-wise. Between the crystallized sugar, grainy taro, and boba, it caught me by surprise. Once everything was mixed together, it was fine, just not my favorite. Still a fun spot with creative drinks, and I'd be open to trying something else next time!

this place was so cute, the pink walls were great. they made the drinks quickly and were kind. if i had to complain about something, id say that the drink could've been sweeter; but that's on me! they give you a sweetness option and i chose the regular version. the strawberries were my favorite part!

    Taro boba with pearls

This is an adorable little spot... very instagrammable with the cherry trees and cute neon and whatnot. I wandered over here for a boba and got the taro with pearls. Delicious!!! Service is kind of meh because you don't talk to anyone to order, or when you receive your drink... it's all automated but there IS someone behind the counter making the orders!! It just felt very impersonal, hence one star off. The drink itself though was amazing. Perfect amount of pearls and the taro was made from paste not powder. So good!

    Strawberry souflee pancakes

This place has been on my list for a while, but under my North Austin bookmarks...I didn't realize they had a location in SoCo! Since the SoCo location is much closer to me, I was happy that a friend wanted to meet here for a Friday afternoon get-together. There are plenty of tables and the vibe is all pink and floral---definitely perfect for Valentine's day all year round! There are a TON of drinks and desserts to choose from. The reason I even had this place bookmarked was because of their souflee pancake dessert. So that is what I got---the strawberry soufflé pancakes without ice cream (it does come with an ice cream scoop of you have that voracious sweet tooth!). My pancakes were pretty good - I was expecting the sauce to have a thicker consistency, it was more like melted whipped topping. The pancakes were also more on the chewy side and not that fluffy. Since we were chatting away, I didn't bite into plate until about 10 minutes after they were ready, so it's possible they might taste differently if eaten immediately after they're cooked. My friend got an avocado smoothie and mango sticky rice. She enjoyed her plate but the smoothie was definitely on the larger side! It would be nice if they can offer smaller sizes and not just one big 20+oz cup! The staff was super chill and I'm glad they weren't in a rush to kick us out. We were there for about 3 hours!

Been here before and this time came with a larger group. The soufflé pancake isn't what I expect-it seems more like pancake than a soufflé. Tiramisu is sweet. Mango sticky rice-they have an option for kiwi and it's actually their default fruit but they ran out of kiwi. I've personally never heard of kiwi sticky rice. I've always gotten mango sticky rice (at Thai restaurants). Surprised that mango costs $1 more. Ube crepe cake-it's good but nothing extraordinary. Overall, their desserts are ok and kind of expensive. I would go back for the drinks. They have cool toppings I don't get to see at other tea places such as mermaid tears. They look like blue popping boba-love! Got their stuffed animal bumblebee-it's so cute! The inside is decorated nicely and has a lot of flowers.

Order at kiosk and they call your # when ready. Interior is cutely decorated. There is a range of bubble teas and desserts to choose from. Overall solid choice for dessert.

Another hit from sweet memes - the taro souffle pancake! The cream that goes on it is reaaally really good. It's sweet but not too sweet and ofc the pancake itself is always good. It's like $15 including tax, so not bad. I got it via door dash and the entire prep/delivery time was about an hour so not too bad.

Drizzle Croffle with matcha ice cream and drizzle syrup

Sweet Memes is a trendy dessert spot along S Congress Avenue! Very cute inside with the decor, good amount of seating, and definitely lots of photo opportunities there if you're into that. Decent amount of parking (street, garage) nearby. The ordering process was easy with self-serve kiosks and we got our food quickly. Drizzle Croffle ($8.50, 4/5) - Served with ice cream, whipping cream, and drizzle syrup. You can choose the number of scoops (1 is default) and what syrup flavor you'd like. - I ended up getting a scoop of matcha ice cream and the matcha syrup flavor (if it wasn't clear already, I'm a fan of matcha) Overall I'm glad I tried this place out! The croffle was pretty good and the matcha additions complemented it well. I do feel like the prices of desserts at this place is a bit expensive, so probably wouldn't go back unless somebody else I knew wanted to try it for the first time.

From the moment you walk in you are transported to an ethereal garden! The restaurant itself is so beautiful. The food was delicious and surprising in flavor and texture. We went for breakfast on Mother's Day (which I do not recommend as a breakfast stop most definitely a dessert stop) but the service was so quick and easy. Everything was sweet and decadent but the flavors of each item were not lost to the sugar or cream. Highly recommend if you ever have that sweet tooth itch!!

Drinks and desserts were great and delicious. Many choices. Also very nice spot for insta or locket. :) will come back for trying more stuff on menu. Order through kiosk. Make it super easy. Nice ambiance light and feel.

Came back to Sweet Memes for dessert after having dinner around the corner. Tried the strawberry syrup instead of the Carmel and after a few bites wished I would have gotten the Carmel again... that said, the strawberry was still good and went well with the waffle. I think I was just blown away at the Carmel that nothing can top it now. Would still recommend if you're a strawberry lover!

Overall, a great late night dessert stop with solid flavors and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out when you're craving something sweet!

The employee offered us a free sample, which was a good start. I may be guilty of falling for the "Dubai Chocolate" trend, but I chose a few pieces of baklava that had chocolate pistachio flavor profiles. I also took a risk on a nest shaped pastry filled with lemon filling, and I think it was my favorite of them all! They have tables where you can eat your treats there, and wash your hands afterwards, which is important because there's almost no way to do it without getting sticky fingers. I ate two pieces there, and saved two more for the evening, which was a lot for one day, but it was sure a treat!

Customers can't rely on what they see online -- or even the in-store menu. That's disingenuous. We won't be back. Very disappointing.

Parking is limited -- only a few narrow spots outside. Okay wow. The ube ice cream here is out-of-this-world. Came here with my hubby and two toddlers and we got one cone to share (the kids just get a little bit). This is usually enough but I felt like I wanted MORE. It was so creamy and flavorful. We kept it simple -- fish cone with nutella and ube soft serve. We had the option of swirling it with a milk tea ice cream but it had a little bit of caffeine so no good. Glad the choice was made for us -- the ube was perfect on its own. Also happy we skipped the toppings since the creaminess really came through. They sell mochi donuts too -- they were pretty good but not as good as the ice cream. Parking is limited but we had no issue snagging a spot at 430pm on a Sunday. Only a few narrow spots outside (no official lot). Full disclosure -- both my daughter and I had tummy aches after eating this ice cream and you know what? I have zero regrets! It was that good.
