I came here with friends and it was so cute on the inside! I got a Bingsu and a pork belly rice ball. I really liked how they let you pick two flavors for the Bingsu, so I got the green tea and mango. Both delicious and also good for the price. However, the pork belly rice ball was not that good. I haven't had snow ice in a while and their menu's range of options was pretty average: mostly fruit options, a couple of easy like Blizzard style toppings and injeolmi which was interesting but not enough for me to choose it. We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon to get some honeydew boba and taro boba. We were surprise to see they have offer bí hsu and other snacks. We just had dinner so we were too full to try their snack dishes. Maybe next time because their food looked good ! The honeydew and taro boba was super milky and i wasn't a fan of it. The honeydew tasted artificial and the taro did too. Taro didn't have a strong taste and was sitting in the very back seat. 1/5 for bobas. I didn't like it :/ I am a fan of both onigiri, bingsu (Korean shaved ice), and boba, all of which they offer so I was super hyped to try this place. Got their beef and tuna onigiri, as well as the brown sugar boba. Yes, I know brown sugar boba is usually sweet but this tasted artificial. I asked if they could dilute it and the second time was no different. It was still sweet. I couldn't finish the boba, which is a big no-no in my book because I almost always finish boba unless it's bad. Both onigiris are alright but the meats seem overly salted. Didn't make my mouth sing. Not sure if the bingsu is any good but based off of this experience, I don't know if I'll be back. Located in the 99 ranch plaza area so the cramped parking spots are painful too. read more

My granddaughter got a spicy salmon roll and Nutella taiyaki. It's a cute, clean restaurant with a nice staff. We enjoyed the food, though she said the taiyaki is better at snowy village, probably because the Nutella filling oozed out of the little pastries and there wasn't any inside. read more

What a gem in Austin! I was so lucky to drive by the crescent when I decided to stop for lunch. There are a ton of unique Asian food options in this shopping area and I was intrigued because I've never heard of this place. Service was prompt and kind, food was SO good and there's a decent amount of indoor seating. I got one of the combos with a spicy tuna onigiri, fried shrimp mayo onigiri, and miso soup. Food: 4 stars. I love onigiri and haven't found that many places in Austin to have it freshly prepared and served warm. I liked the flavors and seasoning on these, but they are a little messy due to the fancy nori strip presentation and the rice being packed loosely. Taro Boba: 3 stars. Very mediocre, with a strong taste of artificial flavoring. The pearls themselves were yummy, but kind of small and hard. Service/cleanliness: 2 stars. The young server at the register seemed maybe overwhelmed? She was slow, and her demeanor very cold and stand-offish. I also saw two other workers who would appear frequently in the area behind the counter but didn't seem to be doing much. Meanwhile, I didn't see the self-seated tables in the small dining room cleaned between diners the entire hour I was there. I wiped down my own rather messy table before I sat down to eat. Oh, and the locks are broken on both the restrooms (they have signs on the door that say "please knock, lock broken" and foldable screens inside the restroom blocking the view of the toilet from the door). Popped in for dessert one evening and we all decided on getting bingsu (shaved milk ice) We tried the mango (the best one), blueberry, and oreo. I am glad we chose small as they were still huge! Nice to know - definitely felt the price was right. Evertyhing was fresh and quite delicious. Service was friendly, but very slow. Some chatting in the back room instead of helping customers, so took quite a bit longer than it should have. Not a big deal, but if I see a line next time we probably won't wait.
