Came here for buba tea and it didn't disappoint. I had the Thai Brûlée and it was delicious. The place is super cute too, has a couple of posters to take pictures and the hall to the bathroom has pet pictures. They also have a plush toy vending machine that I saw 2 people win prices from.

Really enjoyed our visit to Austea! We were craving boba and stumbled upon this newer spot with a buy 2 get 1 free promo. It was very clean inside and the employees were kind and gave great recommendations. They had an extensive menu and had plenty of milk options which I appreciate appreciated. We ordered the taro coconut and matcha latte milk teas with boba. We ordered the passion fruit tea to try and it was my least favorite of the three. The matcha was soooo good and the taro was perfect. While waiting for our drink, we played the claw machine and won a plushie! We will definitely be back. Go support this new spot!

We stopped by for a post-dinner sweet treat and had a great experience. It was a little over an hour before closing, so the shop wasn't too busy. I ordered the Taro Crème Brûlée and my husband had the Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar, both at regular sweetness with regular milk. My drink was creamy with custard and boba, and the taro flavor was strong in the best way. At other milk tea shops the taro can taste faint, but here it really stood out. I might try half sweetness next time, but overall it was delicious. They also offer plenty of snack and food options, which I'd love to try on another visit. Parking was easy when we went, although being next to Chick-fil-A could make it busier at peak times. The inside was clean, modern, and spacious with plenty of seating. I also liked that they have a rewards program where you can earn points toward a free drink. This is definitely a spot I'd come back to.

As someone who prefers fruit teas over milk teas, I enjoy the variety of selection here! They also have smoothies. Sugar level options is in quarter increments and ice is in half increments. I got the Galaxy Kumquat which the lady said was actually a lemonade and doesn't have tea in it. The purple part is plain in flavor so you need to give the drink a good shake. Prices are on par with other boba spots and the cup is tall. I'd be interested in trying their food options next time. Plenty of parking in the lot and it's a cute spot to hang with friends!

Pretty decent boba, but it's kinda far for me. If you are in the area, it's worth stopping by! I got the strawberry green tea and I could taste the artificial flavoring but it didn't taste as strong as some I've had.

Customer service 10/10. Sweet lady who rang us up had the kindest vibe. My sister got the classic milk tea at 75% sweet. She said it was too sweet for her taste, but for me, I think it could've gone a little sweeter at 100%. I got the crème brûlée at 100% sweet. I think I could've gone with 75% or 50% for that one. Everybody's sweet tooth is different. Overall, the tapioca and drinks were good quality.

I had heard of this place and was in the neighborhood, so I decided to stop by! The staff were so friendly and the inside was clean and cute. I ordered the strawberry matcha and added boba. The tea was just right! Not too sweet and a good amount of boba. Will definitely be back to try more!

Honestly great service, food is tasty and the atmosphere is really nice! Their menu online only shows drinks, but they also have a lot of food options. The taiyaki is really yummy and fresh! I'll edit later when I get the boneless wings, fries, and Kong dog Edit: GET THESEEEE the seasoning is sooo good! The fries are crispy and seasoned really well, the kong dog was so good. The chicken may be my favorite part though. It's juicy and crunchy and so good

Austea is my go-to spot whenever I'm in the mood for a dessert drink. Everything I've tried has been delicious and made just right. The staff are always nice and quick with orders, which I really appreciate. The place itself has a cozy, modern feel that makes it easy to just relax or hang out with friends. Definitely a favorite of mine and worth a 5/5

We're from the Dallas area coming in for a visit, so we have a bunch of the main boba spots. Austea is absolutely elite tier. The location is really nice. It's next to a bunch of other shops. Inside Austea is nice and cool which is great for these summer days. They were playing great music and the aesthetics here are great. They have wifi here, so you can get your study on, which is what some folks were doing. We got the two boneless combos with Special matcha Marble , tiger brulee, and Uji matcha. The flavor of the wings were Soy garlic and House made special. The wings were super good. Be warned that the house made special does have a little kick to it which is indicated by the small chili pepper. The drinks were absolutely top tier. Matcha is really good, and the creme brulee flavors just compliment it very well. The curly fries were really good, so make sure you get them. The chicken was all nice and tasty. It also didn't have an old oil taste which is great Overall, definitely would recommend Austea to all my boba lovers! Great for everyone! Service here was excellent

So they have a meal and drink combo going right now for $13!! You get any chicken entree, with fries and a drink of choice. What an amazing deal. I'd be here everyday if I didn't have adult responsibilities. The original chicken is crispy and seasoned to perfection. These fries are delicious and you already know, the drinks are phenomenal. They even have taiyaki on the menu now! Can't wait to come back and eat everything on the menu.

Very clean, aesthetic, and cute environment. Lots of options of delicious boba tea to choose from. They had food as well. Kid and family friendly! Polite staff, and plenty of area for seating. Definitely recommend for good boba!

Austea has the good vibes and the good boba! I have been to Austea a few times, and something that sets this place apart from other boba shops is that they are designed for customers to come and hang out. There is plenty of seating, decorative art, and an inviting environment. The menu has a variety of milk tea and fruit tea options and they now include food options. I got peach green tea with mango popping boba- my go-to. I got regular sweetness and ice, making it the perfect balance of sweetness for my tea. They are fast, efficient, and provide quality drinks. The price is fair for the value, and the location is convenient as it is near a few restaurants. I highly recommend Austea!

Hand whisked with traditional tools, this matcha might be a bit pricey but it's worth it. Some notable things I liked: - the hojicha is surprisingly better than their matcha, but their matcha is still good. I normally never prefer hojicha so it surprised me a lot. - when I asked for less sweetness, it actually was less sweet. You would think that isn't surprising, but so many places still drown it in sugar. I appreciate that it's not like that here. - the wait was almost an hour for one of the first weekends they opened. It's like that for everything in Austin now though - it is so hot in there lol - the service is mindful and whoever wrote on our labels that day has gorgeous handwriting????? Overall the best matcha place in Austin. Don't skip, but it would be good if this place had a more permanent situation so we can look forward to a new wave of tea in Austin.

The space itself is definitely on the smaller side with only a few tables, but the ambiance is thoughtfully designed in a way that somehow makes the whole place feel cheerful, cozy, and welcoming instead of cramped. I ordered what I believe was a taro milk tea with almond milk and extra boba, lightly sweetened. The drink came out smooth, creamy, and balanced without becoming overly sugary. The boba had the right texture too - soft and chewy without turning mushy. You can tell they actually care about the drinks instead of just assembling them as fast as possible. The cashier was genuinely funny and friendly, which honestly adds more to a quick stop like this than people realize. Service was fast, parking was easy, and the menu had plenty of options without feeling overwhelming. This isn't really a "hang out for 4 hours and study" kind of boba place because the seating is limited, but for a quick stop, grab-and-go drink, or casual catch-up, it works really well. The surrounding area is still developing so there aren't crazy views or anything, but during sunrise or sunset the light coming through the windows actually gives the place a pretty nice vibe. Small shop, good energy, solid drinks, easy parking. I'll definitely be back.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

The jellies added just enough sweetness to make the drink more enjoyable without overpowering it. Since we ordered everything at lower sweetness, that little boost made a noticeable difference. Once properly mixed, the salted crema elevated the drink even more. It added dimension and somehow lifted the entire flavor profile, making everything taste fuller and more cohesive. Pandan, Pandan, Pandan -- I liked the flavor, but I felt like the 25% sweetness dulled some of the pandan's impact. It ended up tasting almost like a gentler, blander matcha -- which, honestly, I didn't mind since I'm not always a fan of matcha bitterness. Let's Go Ski -- easily my favorite of the night. The sweetness was mellow and balanced, and the winter melon flavor really stood out in the best way. Winter melon can sometimes lean overly artificial, but this one tasted just right. Like the Jaded, the salted crema worked wonders here when mixed properly. The way it accentuated the drink genuinely elevated the entire flavor profile without overwhelming the mellow sweetness. The boba here was absolutely perfect texture-wise -- chewy with just the right bite. It wasn't as sweet as I expected boba to be, but honestly, that worked in its favor. Sometimes, less sweetness lets you focus more on the actual flavor of the drink instead of the toppings stealing the spotlight. My best friend actually went back for another drink before the night ended and chose the Taro-Zo Matcha at 25% sweetness. Taro-Zo Matcha -- we absolutely loved the subtlety of this drink. We both agreed it tasted even better once mixed properly, and whatever they use as the base for their ube crema is honestly addictive. It added this creamy richness that made the drink incredibly easy to keep sipping. To put it into perspective: between the three of us, the drink lasted all of two minutes before it completely disappeared.
