You order at a kiosk with no real person making recommendations. I should've known this place would be more created for photo ops than good quality products. Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed. read more

The reviews about minimal customer service are accurate. Ordering is done through a kiosk and your number gets called. The staff were friendly when we got our drinks, but the exchange was brief. The space, though, is super Instagrammable with lots of playful decor. Parking is a little tight out front, with some extra spots along the side street. I ordered the crème brûlée taro milk tea with boba, and my husband got the regular crème brûlée milk tea with boba. Flavor-wise it was good, but my drink had a lot happening texture-wise. Between the crystallized sugar, grainy taro, and boba, it caught me by surprise. Once everything was mixed together, it was fine, just not my favorite. This is an adorable little spot... very instagrammable with the cherry trees and cute neon and whatnot. I wandered over here for a boba and got the taro with pearls. Delicious!!! Service is kind of meh because you don't talk to anyone to order, or when you receive your drink... it's all automated but there IS someone behind the counter making the orders!! This place has been on my list for a while, but under my North Austin bookmarks...I didn't realize they had a location in SoCo! Since the SoCo location is much closer to me, I was happy that a friend wanted to meet here for a Friday afternoon get-together. The reason I even had this place bookmarked was because of their souflee pancake dessert. So that is what I got---the strawberry soufflé pancakes without ice cream (it does come with an ice cream scoop of you have that voracious sweet tooth!). My pancakes were pretty good - I was expecting the sauce to have a thicker consistency, it was more like melted whipped topping. The pancakes were also more on the chewy side and not that fluffy. Since we were chatting away, I didn't bite into plate until about 10 minutes after they were ready, so it's possible they might taste differently if eaten immediately after they're cooked. My friend got an avocado smoothie and mango sticky rice. She enjoyed her plate but the smoothie was definitely on the larger side! It would be nice if they can offer smaller sizes and not just one big 20+oz cup! The staff was super chill and I'm glad they weren't in a rush to kick us out. Been here before and this time came with a larger group. The soufflé pancake isn't what I expect-it seems more like pancake than a soufflé. Tiramisu is sweet. Mango sticky rice-they have an option for kiwi and it's actually their default fruit but they ran out of kiwi. I've personally never heard of kiwi sticky rice. I've always gotten mango sticky rice (at Thai restaurants). Surprised that mango costs $1 more. Ube crepe cake-it's good but nothing extraordinary. Overall, their desserts are ok and kind of expensive. I would go back for the drinks. They have cool toppings I don't get to see at other tea places such as mermaid tears. Drizzle Croffle ($8.50, 4/5) - Served with ice cream, whipping cream, and drizzle syrup. You can choose the number of scoops (1 is default) and what syrup flavor you'd like. - I ended up getting a scoop of matcha ice cream and the matcha syrup flavor (if it wasn't clear already, I'm a fan of matcha) Overall I'm glad I tried this place out! The croffle was pretty good and the matcha additions complemented it well. Matcha souffle pancake($11.99): 8/10 Super fluffy and light pancakes. They are jiggly and cloud like. Very fun to eat and so easy to get down. Not dense, so I feel like I could eat the whole thing easily. It is drenched in a matcha sauce that is thin and creamy. The whole thing is surprisingly not too sweet. It is a good balance of sweetness and the slight bitterness from matcha. The icecream is a nice touch too! Taro Waffle($11.99): 8/10 The waffle is taro flavored, but very subdued so it doesn't actually taste like taro. It is a mild flavor, so it's basically like a normal flavored waffle. I love the texture, it's like a mochi waffle so it is chewy and has a pull to fight with as you eat it. There is no crunch on the outside unfortunately. And it does get soggy because of the ice cream on the top, so dont take too long eating it LOL. For the ice cream you can get between 1-3 scoops of either vanilla, chocolate, matcha, or strawberry ice cream. I got the vanilla and strawberry ice cream flavors and they were good! For the drinks I tried the: - Glory Pearl ($6.50) - it was lychee jasmine green tea with lychee jelly. I thought it was alright. Just like lychee fruit tea! - ⁠Crescent Moon ($6.50) - peach black tea with peach jelly. It is alright as well, i enjoyed the glory pearl more. Service: The items came out in a timely manner. There is a key to the bathroom (fyi) Ambiance: A cute and relaxing spot. It is clean and good for hanging out! The whole thing came out to around 40 dollars for two desserts and two drinks. From the moment you walk in you are transported to an ethereal garden! The restaurant itself is so beautiful. The food was delicious and surprising in flavor and texture. We went for breakfast on Mother's Day (which I do not recommend as a breakfast stop most definitely a dessert stop) but the service was so quick and easy. Tried the strawberry syrup instead of the Carmel and after a few bites wished I would have gotten the Carmel again... that said, the strawberry was still good and went well with the waffle. The vibe here is super cute, so I was excited to go. I got the matcha mille feuille and very berry smoothie. The matcha mille feuille was decently good, however the portion was considerably small, and the matcha powder on top was extremely bitter which offset the taste of the sweet cream. Additionally, my smoothie was not good. There were many large seeds in it that made it hard to drink, it was simple (not sweet or sour), and it overall just didn't taste good. When I asked to have it remade, I was told they couldn't do so. I then asked for a refund and I was also declined that. I had to dispute the charge for the smoothie because it was practically inedible. Really, the only good part was the store being photogenic and the matcha mille feuille once I scraped the matcha powder off of it. Not going back, probably. read more

It wasn't great but it wasn't too sweet or earthy either. It's a big slice--all of the desserts here can be shared (not the waffles though they look small) my drink was good but the presentation with the fruit should look more like the photos. There is a parking garage with free parking and no time limit. There's also free street parking in the front! All in all a good experience. Austin still needs to work on their boba game, but as of now, this place takes the cake (pun intended). As everyone here has mentioned, the décor is like a little wonderland. Blue Butterfly Pea Cheese Foam 10/10 - this drink definitely hits the spot if you're looking for a boba tea with cheese foam. Boba tastes drink and you can taste the tea flavor pretty well getting it at 75% sweetness. Plus the blue color is beautiful. Ube Milli Crepe 10/10 - the presentation for this dish is spectacular! And the flavor is amazing as well. Not too sweet, great texture. No complaints. They might even be better at desserts than drinks!
