Dirty chai w/ oat milk | IG: @jenns.noms

This cafe serves food such as crepes, sandwiches & bagels as well as creative and fun specialty coffees. The barista was super friendly and made a couple of awesome recommendations since the menu had so much to choose from. I was in between the crème brûlée latte but didn't want anything too sweet. She mentioned the dirty chai so I went with it and loved it! subbed w/ oat milk & she was happy to adjust the latte to my liking (sweetness) if I didn't like it. Ended up really satisfied with the drink it was a perfectly creamy & spiced drink. I ended up staying here for almost ~4 hours knocking out some work & got hungry and ordered the salmon lox on an everything bagel. It also came with chips which is a great meal for $13. They have plenty of seating & outlets for your laptop, perfect place for a quick bite. Lots of natural lighting & nice background music that's not too loud either. Great place to get some work done, they even allow you to rent out conference rooms.

I wasn't planning to eat, but the menu caught my eye with crepes with a huge variety of fillings. The staff is very friendly, and it's so cute how they draw little pictures on your coffee when you order--it makes this place special. There's plenty of seating and a nice, bright interior. Overall, I liked the concept of this café, and after looking at the menu, I loved all the food options they offer.

An adorable cafe with a cozy vibe---such a cute southeast Austin find on Oltrof! Came here for a Saturday breakfast, during which my BF and I shared a savory and sweet crepe, and had our own drinks. I got the cappuccino, which had a beautiful layer of foam on the top---just how I prefer! For the savory crepe, we got the Versailles, which had brie, spinach, mushroom, onion, artichoke, and parmesan. Even though it was a lot of ingredients, it didn't feel like any one ingredient overpowered the other or that it was too much. Our sweet crepe selection was the Tokyo, which was a matcha crepe filled with sweet berry jam and cream cheese, whipped cream filling, and almonds. Out of the two crepes, I loved the sweet one the most. Not only was it photogenic, but it was scrumptiously sweet! I also liked the matcha powder dusting to add that extra touch. I look forward to coming back here and trying out other crepes!

Super cute spot with great lattes and local merch!! I grabbed a shirt for my husband which was great quality. He wears it all the time! I love the variety of drinks they offer and they have plenty of seating

Oh my gosh I love this place! Came in for a quick lunch and got the ham croissant sandwich which had spinach, tomatoes, red onions, and a chipotle aioli which was so yummy! It also came with plain salted potato chips. The inside of this cafe is super cute with local artists work displayed all around that is for sale. The little details like my food card having cat's doing yoga poses on it is so sweet and fun. The workers were very nice and this is a great spot to work. I even saw a sign advertising how you can pay to reserve a conference room by the hour or for the whole day. Super unique and lovely spot that I will be recommending to friends!

Iced matcha latte and Tokyo Crepes

I came here on a recommendation from a friend. I'm not going to lie my expectations were extremely high and I feel as though they were not met. I got the iced matcha and the Tokyo Crepes. The iced matcha was extremely watered down to the point where I was convinced I was drinking just milk and sugar. The most matcha I tasted was towards the bottom of my drink I got some minor hints of matcha. For the crepes I really enjoyed the strawberry and matcha! The only thing is besides the matcha being mixed and overpowered by sugar, is it had too much cream for my liking. Other than that I enjoyed the sitting area. It never really got busy despite being in a high traffic area.

Been wanting to try this place forever and finally had a chance. There's plenty of well shaded parking and outdoor seating at this adorable cafe. I tried the savory crepe, Madame, with a Mexican mocha. Very yummy. I'll love to come back and try their pastries. Did you know you can rent their conference rooms? What a fantastic place! Recommend for the breakfast and cat art

This place is pretty yummy! I really like the Saigon Crêpe, the flavor is awesome. Other than that, the place is friendly and fun. It's great for studying or reading. The matcha and seasonal drinks are usually bomb too. Nothing to particularly note on why I left a star off, I think it's just not rock-your-socks-off good.

Café Crème is by far my favorite coffee shop. They have the absolute best coffee, nothing beats the Café Crème Brûlée or their matcha! Also when I tell you their tacos are amazing...THEY'RE AMAZING. Always loaded, fresh, and well seasoned. And not to mention the staff is so kind and the owners are awesome. The main reason I love Café Crème is because they always have cute little animal drawings on the coffee, how can I not start my day with Café Crème. :p

Cute & quirky little coffee shop with a love for cats & plants! They have a fun seasonal menu, crepes, tacos and other breakfast items -- really a little bit of everything. I got the dirty chai which was fantastic! The potato egg & cheese breakfast taco was great as well and I especially loved the tortilla. They have red salsa and a creamy green sauce to compliment. The green sauce reminded me of taco deli's salsa doña! I'd love to be back to try more of their menu items, particularly the crepes :)

The outside does not look like a restaurant, but once you walk in it is very cute and quaint. I ordered a vegan taco, but had to return it because it had egg in it. I was given a correct taco a few minutes later. The chai latte was excellent, 100% perfect! Over this place was great for coffee, not as great for vegan food options. I don't live in Austin, but am not sure i would come back if I did come back to Austin

The best breakfast taco and coffee in town very very consistent and very nice staff always. I have been here 5 years and not found a better place for both items. The art is nice too and pastries are top shelf. I moved several miles away and still come here. It's a great place to take a date. I'm not exaggerating at all. Come see. Not the most beautiful neighborhood ok but that's not noticeable in the breakfast hours at all

But I tried my 3rd package of Little City coffee, (shipped from this address on their website) and though good coffee, it is simply not a dark enough roast for my espresso. I tried Messenger Espresso the first time, many months ago and was underwhelmed. The beans were just not dark enough, shiny enough nor oily enough for the sort of espresso shot I like to pull. They made perfectly passable drip coffee in a pour-over, but I am a 99% espresso guy. Recently I took advantage of a 20% discount and rapid delivery (next day! Arrived on Monday, ordered Sunday!) to try the two darkest roasts offered, Grackle and Republic. Again, passable drip coffees, but not able to produce the thick rich crema and distinctive oily mouthfeel and toasted flavor notes I was looking for. Great fast to the door delivery and good prices (though for a 12oz package, compare carefully) and as I noted, pretty good coffee, but I will return to the Italian espresso (occasionally mixed 75/25 with French Roast) from my usual roaster Anderson's to feed my Gaggia Classic Pro.

I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

I ordered a hot latte with hazelnut and initially, a cinnamon roll and raspberry apricot kolache. The latte was flavorful, warm and enjoyable to drink. Based on my server's recommendation, the cinnamon roll was the most popular item. In fact, he said that folks come to Austin just to try this cinnamon roll. He did forewarn me that it was a little salty and he was absolutely correct. The icing felt oily and lacked true cinnamon roll flavor. So, I traded that cinnamon roll in for a Dubai chocolate croissant (paid the difference in price). While the croissant tasted better than the cinnamon roll, the layers were tough and a bit spongy to eat. The kolache's flavor was good and I like the combination of fruit flavors. With that said, the bread was hard...unlike German kolaches. Prices are on the high end of price spectrum. The bakery has both indoor and outdoor seating. The teal color emits a Zen feel.
