Sweet Nail Bar is the best place to get mani-pedis in Dallas! They have so many colors to choose from: polish, dip powder, and acrylic! The Deluxe pedicure is amazing- they have massage chairs, oils, and all kinds of exfoliating to get your feet soft and pretty. The nail technicians pay special attention to detail to make sure you get the perfect manicure. The worst experience. It was my first tiime coming here to get dip powder nails. I had acrylics on so they charged me $5 just to take them off which was fine but the lady was literally yanking them off which was very painful (and I could've done for free). She then starts using the little drill to get the excess off I guess? even more painful and when she was doing my middle finger I flinched from the pain and she goes "Oh does it hurt?" I said yes but she carried on. I then look at my finger and notice there's blood all over my fingernail, but I've gotten small cuts around my finger before so I figured it was from that and that she would clean it before putting the powder (w tip) on. She finishes and I leave and notice how much my middle finger hurts when I press down on my nail a little and I figure it's just sore. A week goes by and my finger is in even more pain and I decided to take it off. I took it off and it was gross. There was pus, and a very obvious infection and not to mention my nail was broken/cut. Which I figure is what she cut when she was drilling my fingernail and still decided it was ok to put my powder on top. The cut was near the middle of my nailbed so I could see the exposed skin under my nail which was very inflamed and just gross. The drill or something must not have been sanitary enough if it caused an infection. Definitely never coming here again. I would insert pictures but I don't think anyone wants to see that. Not to mention I spent $50 overall for these nails. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I had never gone to this place and I remember gettingba flyer from them so I furgured well my awesome nail place is busy I'll try them. Biggest mistake and why I didn't just get up and walk out I will never know. I wanted a gel pedicure and a manicure for my 8 year old daughter. I asked if I could get gels on my toes with with builder gel glitter. Well after a back and fourth with the nail greeter lady about how they don't have it gel nail Polish with glitter the way I would I like it she finally snapped and me and says I SAID WE DONT HAVE IT. Though I saw a woman getting what I wanted. The nail tech saw that I was pissed cause she was doing everything she could to get me what I wanted. But with that being said the gel polish job was horrible she got top coat on my skin and she flooded my cuticles it just wasnt good. And don't get me started on my daughters nails but I'm not too mad at the bad job done on her cause she's a kid though. So after this I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN EVER! read more

I have been looking for a new nail shop since I moved to Texas at the beginning of the year. I think I've finally found it! My daughter and I have had several mani pedis here, and they do a great job! This is a larger shop, and it's very clean, all implements are sterilized. I came in for a MANICURE and pedicure. First time here. The lady at the front desk convinced me to try the dip polish. However, she failed to mention I would not be getting what a normal manicure included, cuticles being cut and and arm massage. I should have not assumed and should have asked questions. I cannot believe I paid $35 just for polish when my main issues where my cuticles and now they look worse than ever. The pedicure was just mediocre. I will stick with Cityline nails from now on. read more

Totally obsessing with this awesome nail bar! Not only are they convenient but also very friendly. I'm not one to sit in a chair to long the service was absolutely amazing. My sister was graduating that week and we happened to see a grand opening sign with a fair discount of 20% off services. Right away they greeted us with smiles and recommend nail colors for our skin tone which was actually very helpful. They started us right away and I was very satisfied with my results. They offer a variety of great services on the menu and it was very very very very CLEAN !!! I loved the white and black style the nail bar has with a trendy chandeliers ! They also give you a card they stamp for all the services you get done so when you fill up the card with stamps you can get a free service !!! The shopping center there has all sorts of restaurants and yoga it's perfect to literally spend a day of relaxing and pampering. read more

I was in the hospital for an extended time and desperately needed a manicure and pedicure.I called all sorts of places and no one would come except for Sweet Nail bar. The owner personally came out herself and did a fabulous job. She went above and beyond and her services couldn't have helped my spirits more. I can't think her enough!! Don't expect them to stand behind their work. I had been going there for awhile. I got my nails done on a Thursday evening, took the tech a long time to do my nails (not sure why). I had another appointment to get to,so I didn't pay much attention to my nail. Bad on my part, but was already late due to the tech being so slow. When I got home, I noticed how bad my nails were. They had smudges, were not smooth and looked horrible. I was leaving on Friday to go out of town. Friday morning I called the Manager regarding my nails. She wanted me to come in that day, but I was leaving for my vacation so I could not. She told me to come in the Monday I was to returned. I went in a week later when I returned, to find out that they were not going to fix my nails unless I paid again. I was shocked. I will not be going back. To many other places want to have my business and will stand behind their work. read more

I always look to yelp for reviews before I try something new. This was no different. I saw this place and went to yelp to see glowing reviews so I tried it. I purchased the OPI pedicure at $55 and dip nails $35. The process of removing my previous dip was a lot of grinding a few minutes of soak off with acetone then several minutes of grinding again. The old product was all over my shirt and shorts. I have to say that was new for me as I have been a NexGen customer for years. The application of the powder was a long process the technician seemed to be done, but then would go back and continue using the dremel to continue trying to shape them. There are ridges in my nails and they ended up looking as though they were already a week or more old, jagged and thin at the nail bed close to the cuticles and not close to the cuticles. And again, I ended up with the powder on my clothes! On to the pedicure...I had broken one corner of one of my big toes. The technician seemed to ignore this and was prepared to just paint them without filing it down. I had to ask that he do this and he basically filed into the break making it deeper instead of straightening it out. Then he proceeded to paint them. The process for removing the dead skin and calluses was very weak as well. I had to go home and complete the job. Overall, I didn't like anything about either service though they were a little pricey. I am not sure how so many praising reviews are posted about this place. Maybe I just lucked out and got the two people that were not good? I won't be back. read more

I have never had a bad visit here! They are always quick to fit you in. I've never had to wait. They stay well past close for their customers which I work a lot some I'm guilty of having them stay late for me. Even if it's time for them to go home they still give the best service. Today I had ****Sang*** do my nails and she did THE Best job on my nails I've ever seen. She made sure my nails were filed down and natural looking because sometimes the dip can look bulky. She was so determined she accidentally filed to far on one and started over to make sure they looked their best. She did so good that I stopped to type this even tho I have to be up in 6 hours. And the host lady is always so gorgeous and quick to help. Annie, whom did my toes was so attentive and sweet! The atmosphere is great and they give you wine ;) I've been nicked a couple of times but it's unrealistic to think that won't happen and if you get an infection after it's probably your fault for not keeping the wound clean. Based on the glowing Yelp reviews I tried them a couple of weeks ago to get a set of Nexgen nails. The nails looked okay but nothing like I was expecting based on the reviews - they were thicker looking and for some reason both thumb nails had an odd kind of wave or dip in them. I went back today to give them a second chance. I was greeted pleasantly and showed them the weird wave and asked if there was a way to avoid that. The lady looked concerned and asked who did my nails previously. When I sat down the person doing my nails started drilling on my existing nails. I pulled my hand back and asked if they would soak the nails instead. She said yes but AFTER they drill. I avoid the drill as much as possible so tried to communicate with her again. I said usually my nails are wrapped in foil with something. She grabbed my hand and started drilling again. I felt like her demeanor was not very pleasant and I pulled my hand away and decided to go with my instincts and left. While I want to be reasonable I am certainly not going to spend my hard earned money to sit in an environment where I feel uncomfortable. Especially when the person I feel uncomfortable with is poised over my hand with a drill. The quality of the previous experience being just average combined with today's experience where I felt uncomfortable are enough. When it comes to my nails I'm not a three strikes and you're out kind of person - twice is more than enough to make the call to not return. read more
