Oh man, I could get addicted to these pies. I had been wanting to try them since reading Thomas and Emi's reviews about them and finally had the chance this past Thursday at the Makiki Farmers market. I love love love pies, way more than cakes and cupcakes so I was excited to try a place that only sold savory and sweet pies. The menu was on their Facebook page which is always convenient so I went ahead and called to reserve a Vanilla bean custard and apple blackberry pie. Both pies were delicious with a flaky crust but I l liked the vanilla bean custard one better. For all you who like egg custard pudding definitely try this one. The filling wasn't too watery or too firm, and was the perfect balance of vanilla beans, eggs, and milk. I ate it cold and probably could have eaten the whole thing in one sitting if I didn't have some self control. The apple blackberry was on the tarty-er side which is how I like my fruit pies and had a nice crumble on the top. Warm it up, and you got yourself a great dessert. So here I am, 2 days before pi day (3/14), checking out the cool events on Yelp and I see one for Sweet Revenge! What is this, I wonder?!?! Honolulu's first pie truck? I MUST have. Lucky for me, she delivers on Wednesdays and although Pearl Harbor is a little out of the way for her, she made an exception. That and we ordered 21 pies, frozen and unfrozen. We tried the chicken pot pie (my MOST favorite), the mac & cheese, blueberry cream, chocolate haupia, red velvet, and key lime. We reheated the savory pies in the toaster oven and the crust was amazing. Soooo delicious. The dessert pies were super yummy as well. Our favorites were the fresh blueberry with vanilla cream and the key lime pie. The pies are individual sized, maybe about 4.5 inches or so. Definitely share the dessert pies, but order a savory one for yourself. WoW! I'm so glad I went to Eat the Street because I got to check out this truck. They are amazing. I don't eat chicken...so I didn't get the chicken pot pie...but my friend did. I tasted a small bit that didn't have chicken and OH MY it was yummy. The flavor was perfect. I think there were too my chicken pieces in the pot pie, because my friend was like...there's so much chicken!!! I sure hope they come out with a vegetarian friendly one soon because I'd probably scarf that thing down so fast... I've found my new Thursday night addiction - pot pies from Sweet Revenge! Sadly, the first time I had a chicken pot pie was in college, and it was the frozen microwavable ones with the picture of the koala on the box from Costco. I really like them, so when my friend and I heard about the phenomenally delicious $6 pot pies from Sweet Revenge at the Makiki Farmers' Market, we had to put in and order and investigate the pot pies for ourselves. Chicken Pot Pie - Wow, this was really good and filling! The crust was perfectly flaky, and it was packed with HUGE hearty chunks of juicy chicken, carrot, mushroom, and peas- none of those dinkly little kiblet bits of meat and veggies like frozen pot pies. Sweet Revenge's chicken pot pie was definitely the best pot pie I've ever had, and my coworker said it was even better than the ones from Marie Callender's restaurants. Spinach Bacon Quiche - Good, tasty, and there were even surprise chunks of mushroom hiding in it too. However, I didn't really care for the texture- mine was a bit mushy, but my friend said hers was excellent. To me, the quiche was not as good as the pot pie, but worth trying. Vanilla Bean Custard - This was so lovely! The custard was thick and smooth, and the vanilla flavor was nice. It's a little steep for $6, but it's something I would order again. Lilikoi Chiffon - My friend and I both thought it was "interesting"...my coworker said it was weird. It had a very unusual spongy texture and it was really tart. I think we're sticking to the other desserts next time. My friend also ordered the Turkey Dinner pie, and she said that was awesome. It was similar to the Chicken Pot Pie filling, and it was topped with mashed potatoes like a shepherd's pie. Parking at the Makiki Farmers' Market SUCKS. There's limited street parking, and if you're a jerk like me, you can park in the Makiki Playground parking lot if it's not already full. The owner of Sweet Revenge said that if we couldn't find parking, she would run our order out to us in the car. How awesome is that? I'd also recommend calling in your order in advance because apparently, Sweet Revenge sells out pretty early. Just keep in mind that when you pick up your order, the pies are not hot. We nuked them in the toaster oven at 325-350 degrees for ten minutes and they came out perfect. I think they heat up the pies for you if you're eating at the Farmers' Market. read more

Um, the Neapolitan pie is freaking amazing! My friend gifted me this pie sent from heaven, she purchased at the Makiki farmers market. I have seriously never devoured a one person pie that quickly. I would say the size is similar to the size of a pot pie. Pretty full of deliciousness, though. I am so impressed and I hope to try some other flavors soon, they look so good! read more

It's a rarity that I buy anything from a food truck nowadays, but when yelpers recommend, then I pay attention. First glance was at Eat the Street, but I never bought into the whole food truck craze, till recently. I love change. Yelp change, that is! I was craving something sweet and stumbled upon Sweet Revenge, a pink colored mobile food truck, which serves up mostly desserts and pastries to its supporters and to anyone who loves pie and other sinfully delicious gourmet awesomeness. They are here at the Makiki's Farmers market on Thursdays, so I was fortunate to come here on my way home from work recently. The Yelp address says N Vineyard, but its a mobile food trick so, best check out the website and "Like" their Facebook page for more information. The Makiki Farmers Market located on Ward Avenue has a plethora of goodies that will ignite your senses and your tickle your tastebuds to its very core. I must admit I was skeptical when trying out anything that came out from a food truck, but now after many Eat the Street events, I'm a firm believer that anything is awesome and doesn't need to come from a restaurant to be soul captivating and amazingly delicious. This pink truck operation is commanded by Kathy, whose dream it was to enrich people's stomachs and happiness by serving up fantastic desserts from her mobile food operation. She does not disappoint at all. She didn't want to be at a desk job from 9-5 and put her entire heart and soul into this business and it shows. Amazing desserts at affordable prices. You will be left wanting more and more. It's just that good. I'm sure I will go back sometime soon to get more. I chose a few classic favorites and Kathy does a good job of making the dessert as her own. Classics such as the traditional Boston Creme Pie was stunning, although I would have to say that the chocolate bomb was pretty awesome also. The smoothness of the chocolate in these desserts melts in your mouth almost instantaneously. Warm and so good for the soul, you just need to get your butt down here for one or five. Kathy always makes her creations with love and she appreciates all the nice compliments of her product she serves to everyone. I also took in the s'more pie, which was almost heavenly as well. Since having a few, I bought a few more to take home and share with the family. The prices were competitive, but well worth what is in the product you taste. Might need to go on a diet after this, but hey it's well worth it!! Parking is spotty at the Makiki Farmers Market, so best bet would be any street parking you may find in the area. Sweet Revenge also stops at the University of Hawaii - Manoa on Mondays, so do check out Kathy and her pink truck there too, near East West Center and the dorms. The service is excellent and I am proud to support small business here locally wherever I can. Overall, I would recommend this venue for great desserts. How have I not written a review for this yet? I religiously go to Kathy to get pies on fridays at the Fort Street Market. She also gathers orders for pie delivery on Wednesday's (5 pies minimum). The pies are single serving, but she will sometimes do full-size 9" pies for pre-order during the holidays. My go-to pie is the quiche, which is made with seasonal vegetables and bacon. That can be made vegetarian if ordered ahead of time. As far as savory specials, I love the corn chowder pie, chicken Parmesan. The dessert specials I love are the tiramisu, French apple custard, blueberry and cereal pies (she once made one with Lucky Charms marshmallows and cereal milk panna cotta, YUM!) Kathy uses local ingredients and fills her homemade pies with lots of filling (veggies, fruits, etc). TIP: she takes cards but pay with cash if possible! Sweet Revenge has the yummiest pies and I've been a customer for years. Found at farmer's markets and Eat the Street events, they offer both savory and sweet individual-sized pies made with local ingredients for $8 each. I got a chance to go to the farmer's market at Queen's Medical Center (available on the first Wednesday of the month) and grab some pies with a couple of my coworkers. The owner of Sweet Revenge, Kathy, is a really sweet person and was running the booth by herself today. On this day her savory pies were her signature chicken pot pie, turkey dinner pot pie, darkside (which is a vegetarian pot pie) and a quiche pie. For her dessert pies, she had blueberry, pumpkin crunch, black bottom banana, lilimansi (lilikoi + key lime), twix, chocolate haupia and a couple more. All looked oh so delicious and for the dessert ones with cream and toppings, Kathy applied the cream and toppings to order. So what my coworkers and I got today: 1. Chicken pot pie - I think this is one of her signature dishes, and she'll usually have this available. The crust of the pot pie is flaky and just perfect. The inside had chunks of chicken, carrots, and peas with gravy. Overall this pot pie is super satisfying and filling. 2. Pumpkin crunch pie - topped with whipped cream and what tasted like a butter cookie and walnut crumble that gave each bite the perfect crunch, the pie was delicious. The pumpkin mousse was light with just the right amount of pumpkin spice and the crust was flaky and crisp. 3. Lilimansi pie - a combination of a key lime and lilikoi pie, my coworker got this and said that it was pretty tart but yummy. Just topped with whip cream. They didn't have these today but I've also tried Sweet Revenge's Banana Foster pie and I think their Lilikoi Chiffon pie. From what I remember, their lilikoi chiffon pie was light and airy but had great lilikoi flavor, while the banana foster pie had chunks of banana. If you haven't tried this place yet, check it out. I also found out today that Sweet Revenge makes deliveries on Wednesdays so long as orders are placed by a certain time on Tuesdays. I don't know what it is, but there's just something so sinfully attractive about supporting a business called, "Sweet Revenge"!! And for those who've actually had a chance to chat with the business owner (Kathy), the satisfaction is that much greater. Though I don't know her well, just a few minutes with Kathy is enough to tell that she is an incredibly hard-working & dedicated mom of 2 (one overseas now, and the other in college, hehe), with a refreshing outlook on life & a great backstory behind her business...though her website adamantly denies any real "revenge" being involved! You can tell she really enjoys what she does--smiling up from behind her sweaty bangs, & serving customers as fast as humanly possible--and, oh yeah, her pies are AWESOME!! At $9-10 per 6" pie, these are more of an occasional indulgence for me, rather than a staple go-to...but maybe too much sweet revenge might not be a good thing anyway, hehe. Personally I think they're very filling, but for unusually large appetites, one pie may not be enough for a complete meal. If by chance you still have room after your savory pie, just get a sweet pie for dessert, though you'll probably have to share that with someone (or save the rest to enjoy on your own later, I won't judge)! My preference is always for savory pies, and SR's most common offerings at the farmers markets seem to be: * Chicken Pot Pie (chicken, gravy, carrots, & peas) -- Hearty, tasty, the perfect comfort food * Thai Curry Chicken Pot Pie (chicken, curry, bell peppers, onions, & carrots) -- Haven't tried this yet, very afraid of spicy food * Quiche (local veggies, gruyere cheese, & bacon) -- Simple but tasty, not as "heavy" as the pot pie (though technically all of their savory pies ARE heavy, weight-wise!) * Darkside (quiche egg-base, with quinoa, basmati rice, kale, roasted corn, caramelized onions, brussel sprouts, garlic, & mozzarella cheese) -- This is soooo good!!! Nuff said. If you're lucky enough to catch one of Kathy's "experiments," you should definitely go for it!! I once had a "pastilla" pie--her riff on the crispy sweet/savory Moroccan dish--and it totally took me back to the medinas of Fes...all of her flavors were on-point!! Can't recall any other pies that were quite so adventurous, but there are lots of other savory offerings from time to time, and they come out with new combos pretty often. Do you know what my single best purchase last week was? A chicken pot pie from Sweet Revenge at ETS. Since reading the reviews for this glorious food truck, I have been dying to sample some of its comforting morsels because chicken pot pie is seriously one of the things which I am addicted to. In my past life, my freezer was perpetually stocked with chicken/turkey pot pies from Trader Joe's. In my present life, I reached a new state of serious yummmmmmmm!!!!!!! once I took my first bite of the chicken pot pie from Sweet Revenge. Not only had it managed to stay warm for about 20 minutes after I purchased it, but it was the ultimate thing to eat once we completed our trek back to the car (in the rain). Actually, it was almost too pretty to eat. The heart on the perfectly browned crust gave it a beautifully rustic look-but the peas, chicken, and other goodness peaking from the other side snapped me out of my trance and I just had to dig in. I kept digging and digging, wishing that I had purchase my bf his own pot pie :p Somehow I was able to muster up the discipline to share this pot pie with him (if that isn't real love, I don't know what is). Plus, I loved reading all of the reviews that told the story of this wonderful pie-lady! So inspiring :) ...BUT I finally got my hands on a pie this evening at Eat the Street (Cheese)!! Perhaps I hyped this place up in my head too much, or maybe I just didn't order the right thing... Of course at this cheese-themed ETS I had to try the Garlic Bacon Mac & Cheese pie. If last night's Eat The Streets in Kapolei had a contest for the best food truck, I'd give first place to Sweet Revenge! Hands down...the yummiest chicken pot pie eva! Their truck read "chicken pot pie, no celery". I read that and I was hooked at first site. Great minds think alike I suppose. The lady, who I'm assuming is the owner, stated she hates celery and will never make it into any of her food. I like this chick already! When I asked why she named her business Sweet Revenge, she handed me her business card and asked me to read her story on the website. Turns out, after 25 years of marriage, she divorced and wanted to succeed on her own with her two boys. Looks like she's got a winner to me. I heated up her famous pie in my oven for 15 minutes and voila!!! Perfect! Flaky crust, great flavored filling of big chunks of chicken, peas, and carrots. Tried the pumpkin crunch 5" pie, it was good not fantastic but good. Had too concentrate to taste the pumpkin in the pie. I guess the pumpkin taste must have been in the crunch. The 5" pie was $9.00.The owner justifies the price because of the ingredients. Unless there's gold flakes in the pie or pakalolo , the pie is WAY OVER PRICE and OVERRATED. FINALLY, got to try Sweet Revenge at the Honolulu Farmer's Market on the lawn around the NBC Concert Hall on Wednesday night! Only got to try the orange/lilikoi pie and the banana/chocolate pie. Both good, but the custards were a little light and bland for my taste. I prefer rich and creamy egg custards. I'm going to try their savory pies the next time; that may be my true calling! First, I want to say...as the daughter of a woman in a similar situation, I have sooo much respect for the woman that owns this truck. I didn't really know the whole story behind this truck, other than what I got from Emi's review. But then on "Pi day" while having beers with my cousin, he explained it me. And, wow! As my cousin put it, I would hate to be her ex-husband!! Lol. In many ways though, her courage and determination reminds me of my own mom!!! When I heard that Sweet Revenge was coming to UH, I got super excited. I've heard so many great things about them & I just wanted it to be Monday already so that I could blow all of the $8 in cash that I had in my wallet on a pot pie that costs $7.25 :) Now, I know I'm constantly harping about prices & I'm always on the lookout for cheap eats. But, there are certain cases where I am willing to splurge...and Sweet Revenge is definitely on that list. I tried sweet revenge on pi day and they did not disappoint! I got the key lime lilikoi calamansi pie, and the lemon meringue. My favorite was the key lime. You could taste all the flavors equally and it was rich and the crust was buttery and held together nicely, it wasn't crumbly. the only thing that I would have to say is that it was on the sweeter side, but I didn't mind. The lemon meringue was good but the lemon part was too sour, the meringue was thick and delicious, but did not balance out the tart and sourness of the lemon. The service was great! I was being indecisive and asked a lot of questions. The guy helping me repeated the menu three times, which I was very grateful for. They should maybe write down the flavors of the day on a menu, but I'm definitely going to be going back to try more flavors and possibly there savory pies! read more

I've been wanting to try this stand for ages, but I always work straight through the Makiki Farmer's Market hours of operation. I FINALLY got my chance today, and I am officially SOLD on Sweet Revenge. By the time of my arrival, all that was left was a vanilla custard pie and two types of savory pie. I took a vanilla custard (which the owner, who was very nice throughout the entire transaction, bruleed for me with her handy-dandy blowtorch!) and a chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie was great inside, but oh my god. That buttery, flaky top crust was unbelievable. The vanilla custard was also delicious. Some might call a straight vanilla custard pie boring, but I beg to differ. I call it simple. And how can you trust a baker with complicated flavor mixtures if they haven't mastered the basics? Congratulations to Sweet Revenge: they definitely have the basics covered! With the burnt sugar on top, it was like a lighter creme brulee, in pie form. Hopefully the owner will be expanding to more farmer's markets and venues soon... this stuff is way too good to be only available once a week! read more

At $8 a pop the price may scare off first-time buyers, but I'm here to tell you that they're worth the money. What they lack in size they make up in rich flavors that leave you feeling stuffed. Every pie I've tried from Sweet Revenge has been delicious. After hearing about the chili potpie with a cornbread crust I knew I needed to try it. The picture that was posted looked phenomenal. The concept is intriguing. For a few seconds it seemed odd until my brain went, "Hold on a second, bitch...That sounds amazing...". Just like the time I was flicking through Saveur magazine and spotted the pimento cheese burger. So, I sent off a lackey to bring me a potpie since I was ill in bed. To my horror she told me that there weren't any chili potpies and the oven was kaput for the day. Let's just say my tragedy theme song was playing full blast in my head. She did regale me with how she met the owner and her son, who she had a very nice conversation with. So, instead of my first choice or backup choice (chicken potpie) I got a broccoli and mushroom quiche with pieces of bacon on top. I would say the quiche was about 5" big. It seems small when you look at it lustfully but if you have an average appetite I would say it's perfect since it's flavorful with a custard like consistency. Also, I didn't receive a little salad with my purchase unlike the pictures posted by other reviewers. By the time I received the quiche it was maybe 20 to 30 minutes after the initial purchase. It was cold with a warmish center. Cold quiche is not my thing so I took a few bites and was put off by it. From those bites I formed the opinion that it was just ok tasting and pushed it aside to eat some of Olay's Thai Food from the same farmers' market trip. After finishing that up I popped the quiche into the oven until the top was a orgasmic looking sizzle of bacon fat and bubbling top layer of quiche. Now, it tasted what I hoped to be. Tasty, hardy yet light in texture. It left me completely satisfied and happy. Just the type of food you need when your ill on a cold and rainy late afternoon. In all honesty, it put me into a mild food coma. Now to describe it in detail - The bacon - They weren't bits of bacon but they weren't huge. Just perfect for the size as you can see in the picture I posted. Each bite had a piece of bacon on top of it, if not more. The bacon was fully cooked. The crust - It was rather crumbly to my chagrin. It had a nice butteriness but just doesn't live up to the rest of it. I also noticed that the dough on the sides and bottom of the tin looked damp with oil or fat. It still tasted good but tasting less of it is needed since it competes with the rest of the quiche. The quiche filling - As I said before it has a rich custard like consistency. Light yet packs a hardy punch once fully consumed. Surprisingly large chunks of broccoli for such a small size. The broccoli was soft but not mushy. It paired well with the saltiness of the bacon, savoriness of the eggs and butteriness of the crust. The mushrooms that were added into the mix were too large, slightly rubbery, a tad mushy and flavorless. Stretched too thin. I understand that the pandemic upended the world but there comes a time when one needs to step back and re-evaluate their product. This is one of those times. I ordered a Lava Flow pie from the Blaisdell farmers market last night and threw half of it away. It was nothing like how I remember it tasting. At all. The crust was flaky but flavorless, pretty sure someone forgot to add a bit of salt to the crust because it tasted straight up like baked flour and butter. There was very little coconut flavor in the filling and five small chunks of strawberry. The purée was drizzled across the top but added very little flavor to the overall pie. It was the blandest pie I've ever eaten. What happened? Not gonna eat these anymore because this isn't the first time I've had a tasteless pie from here. Owner seems to be stretching herself too thin and the end product is suffering. Stick to Hawaiian Pie Company. read more

Had the lemon meringue pie and the quiche. They were so good. The lemon meringue pie topping was blow torched right when I ordered it. The pie was mostly meringue but it worked well and was delicious. The crust was perfect. Can't eat the whole thing in one sitting, even if sharing with someone else. They're a bit pricey. $10 for the lemon meringue and $9 for the quiche. But worth it for an occasional "treat." read more

Bad customer service. As I was about to pay my 8yr old daughter said it's only $10. So I said "it's only $10"? My response to her was more in regard to the value of money. The pie guy butted in and said he doesn't mean to but he always takes offense when people say how expensive the pies are. First of all, I wasn't talking to him. Second, I didn't say the pies were expensive. Third, even if I did he should keep his comments to himself. If it weren't for my daughter wanting the pie I wouldn't have bought it. It irritated me even more when he repeated himself. I had to explain to him again that I was talking to my daughter about the value of money not criticizing the price of the pie. Here's some advice - think of how the customer feels rather that your own. We ordered the chocolate banana creme pie. Honestly, it was not worth the $10. It was very bland. I have been a fan of Sweet Revenge ever since I first discovered them back when I attended UH. I've never ordered something I didn't like, everything is delicious, filling, and made with love. Price might seem a little steep at first, but one bite and it's totally worth it. My favorite of course is the chicken pot pie, can't go wrong with a classic; the crust is perfect and the filling isn't too thick or watery. Just found out that they pitch a tent in Fort Street Mall on Fridays, so I'll definitely be a regular now that I work in town! read more

I adore Sweet Revenge pies. We've tried so many & they're all so good. My favorites would have to be anything with her peanut butter mousse. Snickers, Fluffernutter.... PB mousse is where it's at. Of her savory pies, the best was her pulled pork pie topped with cornbread. OMG. the cornbread was moist, the bbq sauce was savory & even the baked beans were good & I don't like baked beans. I'm waiting for this pie to be offered again. Kathy is always so nice so I try to keep aware of her schedule. I've also given her pies as gifts & everyone raves about them. Mango pie or lilikoi chiffon have been big hits (our family is allergic to lilikoi, so I'm not able to try these pies myself). This pie truck has a great reputation and I wanted to like it better than I did. I got the lilikoi pie and it was... ok. It just didn't taste that much like lilikoi. It was a very faint flavor. When paying $9 for a tiny 2-serving pie, I need it to be outrageously flavorful. I've had pies, cheesecakes, and pastries from Fendu Bakery that are bursting with the flavor of local fruits, like lilikoi and guava, for a price range closer to $3/serving. So my neighbors gifted us two pies, half of each from sweet Revenge and this one pie looked like it could be coconut but it was just cream, I couldn't taste anything. This other pie taste like someone mix in 80 proof alcohol or the whole bottle of vanilla extract cus I'm buzzed not the good kind. Not the best pie I'm being honest. I already feel sick from the alcohol flavor pie. They both looked really good but the taste was somewhere else. Ms. Masunaga's chicken pot pies are the best I've ever had, bar none. My wife had a taste, turned to me and said, "great, now we have to move to Hawaii!" While at Eat the Street today I decided to live on the edge and tried a brand new food truck called Sweet Revenge. It is painted Elle Woods pink and the woman who owns the truck has a triumphant story very a la "Legally Blonde." Divorced after 25 years of marriage, this woman opens her business and as a fellow divorcee I am rooting for her 110%. I walked up to the truck and excitedly ordered the chicken pot pie and beef chili pot pie for $7 a piece. They were a little disorganized and it was obviously their first day out, but everyone was still very friendly. I returned to my Yelp booth and delivered the pies to my intern Thomas who ooooo'd and aaaaah'd over the site of the pretty five inch round beauties. I sampled the chicken pie, turned to Thomas and declared "It's AWFUL Thomas! Don't eat it!!!" Then I continued to dive in selfishly wishing Thomas would disappear. We laughed and I begrudgingly allowed Thomas a bite of the pie. The chili pot pie had a lovely cornbread crust, but the chicken had won me over hands down. I also had the opportunity to try the chocolate mousse pie and that was lovely as well. It had a nice oreo cookie crust, was not overly sweet and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I have been a loyal patron of Sweet Revenge for quite a while now, but still haven't written a review yet, and I have no idea why... Well, here goes! OH YEAH!! + Traditional sweet/dessert pies + Savory entree pies + Pies, Pies, Pies!!! + Always something new and creative + Kathy is awesome + They deliver!! (on Wednesdays) + PIESSSSSS!!!!!! OH NO!! - No permanent location (yet??) OH MY!? * If you can think of a food, I'm sure Kathy can make it into a pie! No matter what I've had from Sweet Revenge, I have not been disappointed. Everything from standards like the flagship Chicken Pot Pie and Pumpkin Pie to more unusual pies like Ghost Chili Pie, and something called Welsh Rarebit and everything in between have been absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious! Kathy (the owner) is always coming up with interesting twists on pies like Chili Pie that has a cornbread top, and a S'mores Pie which they even use a torch to toast the marshmallow top! The dessert pies available can vary greatly depending on what kind of fruit is in season and available at the time. I highly recommend the Mango Cream Pie if you ever have the chance! You can find Kathy and the giant pink Sweet Revenge truck regularly at Eat the Street events and Discover Kaka'ako events, and every Thursday at the Makiki Farmers Market (minus the giant truck), as well as other random events around town.
