The girls working were friendly and helpful. There are many flavor choices. They also offer milkshakes. The "taco" shell is similar to a waffle cone but more of a wafer texture. I recommend dining in and not attempting to eat this in your car because it can be messy. One taco is a decent amount of ice cream so you could easily split with someone. read more

I love sweet rolled tacos! I do think the name is very dumb and if one were to, understandably, wander in here expecting tacos, they would be disappointed. Like you serve ice cream, not tacos, but your name mentions tacos, not ice cream. I get the concept of the taco shaped ice cream, but I just don't like the name. That's obviously all my opinion and has nothing to do with the food or experience. So, on to the food and experience. Both times that I have been, it's been pretty close to when they opened on weekdays, so it was fairly empty. My first visit, I tried the Churro ice cream and was obsessed. I came back the next week to get the Churro for my husband and I tried the Monster Ink. I regretted not getting the Churro again, but only because it is so good. We stopped by Sweet Rolled Tacos hoping for a quick sweet treat, but the experience was pretty disappointing. First, the hours listed online were confusing Yelp, Google, and Apple Maps all showed different times, so it was hard to know when they were actually open. We were excited they were open, but it set the tone for some frustration. My husband ordered three tacos and two teas to go. After waiting about 20 minutes, only two tacos and one tea came out. Since we wanted to eat everything together, we waited. About 15 minutes later the last taco came out, and then a few more minutes after that the second tea. By the time we finally left with our full order, one of the tacos had melted so badly it wasn't even edible money wasted. What made it worse is that no one mentioned there would be such a long wait, and the order wasn't prepared together. A little communication or bringing everything out at once would have made a big difference. We really wanted to enjoy the experience, but between the confusing hours, the delays, and the melted food, it just felt like wasted time and money. read more

Friendly, helpful staff. We came in with a big group and I forgot to call ahead to warn them. They jumped right in and got to work.

My family loved it. One star off for me because I like sweet things balanced with a hint of salt and to me, the sweetness had one note. All the sweet things tasted like the other. If they balanced out say, the shell, with a lighter sweetness or a touch of salt to give it a layered flavor, it would be on point. Very quick service, it was our first time there. I went to a Rolled Ice Cream place before so I knew exactly what I wanted. Plus I'm a very basic person when it comes to sweets. I got the Rainbow Roll topped with Fruity Pebbles. It normally comes with cotton candy whipped cream, candy and sprinkles on top. I didn't want any of that. This is a cute little place tucked in a shopping center by HEB. I took my girls their because they have been eyeing it and I really liked it and can't wait to try more things on the menu. I love that they had vegan options and also will wipe down all the things if you have a allergy. I thought that's a nice touch since everyone isn't mindful of that. the environment is extremely loud and I had to almost shout to the girl taking my order. I asked a simple question ("do you serve salted cream on your boba teas?") and she didn't understand what I meant, so an older gentleman (I'm assuming the manager?) came all the way around the counter, to the front and I repeated my question again. he said no but that they can put half n half on my drink.. ? I ordered a matcha latte with boba, waited 15 minutes before being served, was given a broken straw, and no boba was in my drink (boba is $0.50 extra). at that point, I didn't even care to complain. it wasn't worth another 15 min wait just to get a scoop of boba. Hated the whole thing. The folks are very nice but their ice cream filled tacos are expensive and not my cup of coffee of tea.

It's a cute little shop, however it can get very busy and very loud very quick! The seats are pretty close together and conversations are hard to hear when there are more than 10 people. The desserts are good and very sweet, but the time process of ordering and waiting can get pretty lengthy. If you were heading there on a weeknight it may be a little less busy but weekends are definitely the most packed! read more

I would not consider this a family friendly restaurant. I went in with my family this evening and 3/4 girls working were wearing extremely short shorts. One of the girls shorts were so short, her butt crease was showing. I would not expect them to wear pants, but having decent clothes on would be great. IMO that's disgusting. This is the first time I have been there, and I will never be back. That's my choice and my opinion. If you don't mine your (especially young) children seeing that, by all means, check it out. When handed my spoon and straw they put them on the obviously not cleaned table instead of handing them to me or placing them on a napkin.
