Stopped by for a quick dessert run and had a really good experience overall. Even though it's more of a grab-and-go spot without seating, the space still felt welcoming and the service was friendly from the moment I walked in. It was a very intimate space with sweet ladies working in there!! They were super kind and friendly. We parked at a lot nearby and walked over. I got the doughnut sandwich with salted caramel ice cream topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and m&ms. It was DELICIOUS!!

I wasn't expecting much from this creamery, but I walked away incredibly surprised. I got the bourbon truffle (or something like that) and the Cuban coffee cream -- and they were delicious on their own, but paired great together. A friend of mine got two scoops of the vegan lemon and it was perfectly tart. This place is small and there aren't very many places to sit, but it's very easy to walk in, order, and go on a brisk walk with your delicious, creamy sweet treat.

Terrible, terrible customer service. I said hello and the girl just stared at me and was so rude. And bugs. Yes BUGS.

I got the ice scream sandwich with mvp and and bourbon truffle flavors and it was a good combination. The mvp had chocolate covered peanut butter bites. They had a good amount of flavors and would love to try some of the more fruity flavors here as well. The service was super friendly. There wasn't that many options for seating. It's more like a place where you can grab and go. The only down side is that the area where it is located was a little scary at night when I went. There were a couple homeless people outside and there is a parking deck right next to the location but we just parked right outside the store on the street so that we could keep an eye on the car.

My kids were able to find their favorite flavors and seemed happy with their treats BUT... I did not go into the business. The closest parking was a block away and before I was fully parked, a guy rode over to my vehicle on a scooter and started telling me how terrible this parking lot was and pointed out the two other vehicles already booted. Scooter man proceeded to ask me if I ever help out the homeless and asked for cash, and had a hard time accepting my no answer. Across the street from the public parking lot is John Calhoun Park. I noticed numerous homeless sleeping in the shade and another covered in a wheelchair next to the street. My initial thought was to find another ice cream option because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my vehicle and walking a couple blocks over to Sweet Stacks. My daughters (ages 6 & 7) had been drinking lots of water because it was a hot day and had to pee really bad. I circled the block and let the girls out, my oldest was able to handle payment. To our dismay, the bathrooms at Sweet Stack are for employees only. My idea of a fun treat was very underwhelming. Sweet Stack might be more of a locals only shop.

The pros: Good portion size and a variety of flavors - they also have a good selection of vegan ice cream for anyone that has dietary restrictions. Lady serving us was so patient and kind! Sweet dreams was really good, especially for fruit flavor lovers. Go ahead and pass on the mango flavor - it's vegan so it has a more icy texture and the flavor isn't that strong. Got it to accomodate a friend but would've gone for the caramel praline otherwise. The cons: Pricing is unclear and maybe even a little deceptive? Could've sworn that the menu said $4.15 for a small cup and was told that I could have up to two scoops. When I got to checkout it seemed like you had to pay for the cup plus $1 for each scoop, so my total was coming out to $6.15 pre-tax. To me this pricing model makes no sense and if it's posted, it's not clear/visible. If a place says that I can get up to two flavors with my size, I'm expecting two smaller scoops of two diff flavors or one large scoop of a single flavor. In hindsight, perhaps their pricing model is a flat $4.15 for the cup + $1 for each scoop, and you can get up to 4 scoops (so cup size doesn't matter) Either way, pricing is not super clear in my opinion. Also the parking at night here is a little sketch - I get it, it's downtown, but just throwing that out there. Pricing aside, this is a solid place for ice cream

I first tried Sweet-Stack at the Dessert Wars festival a few months ago, and it was my favorite treat I sampled at the festival. I've been wanting to visit their storefront ever since, and we stopped by last weekend just prior to closing. My husband was waiting in the car outside so I felt a little under pressure to order fast, and they weren't doing samples, which made it hard to decide! I ordered a donut ice cream sandwich with Cookie Monster ice cream. It was really tasty, but I wish I would have ordered a topping on it. They also have cookie sandwiches that look really good too! I've never heard of donut ice cream sandwiches before Sweet-Stack. The donut is warm and the ice cream is still cold / not melty. I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I'm a fan of trying any dessert with a twist! Sweet Stack Creamery did not let me down! After seeing that they had an activated charcoal ice cream, I knew I had to put this place on my to visit list. Then I saw the names of the flavors and knew I'd be making a trip same day! I took my kids, because what child doesn't want ice cream?! I ordered the charcoal flavor, called Black Panther. It also has coconut flavor and vanilla wafers crushed in! 10/10 My son ordered chocolate, but I can't remember the name. My daughter ordered the Amber Rose which is cotton candy with pop rocks! They don't have kid scoops so it was almost $5 for each of our single scoops. They also have a wide selection of toppings to add and make creations like donut sandwiches!

Unfortunately this was a no for us. It's been on my list for awhile but is a hike so we finally made the trip yesterday. Parking is located in the garage right before the shop (free) and staff weren't exactly warm or welcoming making for a weird vibe. Their COVID protocols are still fully in place- only four allowed inside, no indoor dining, masks required and no samples so just things to be prepared for when you go. They will sell you a mask for $1 if you forget yours. We weren't super hungry so chose to not do the donut but did get a waffle bowl. We got the amber rose (cotton candy), bday cake and Cookie Monster and honestly were disappointed by all three flavors. I'm unsure if they make their ice cream fresh in house, I couldn't find out for certain on the site, but it tasted identical to Herseys brand ice cream and there were big chunks of ice throughout. The Cookie Monster was the biggest disappointment with our scoop only containing two pieces of cookie dough and a portion of one Oreo, it essentially was just vanilla was food coloring. We really wanted to love this stop but unfortunately the ice cream looks better than it tastes.

I feel like an OG...wait there's a reason for that...I had the OG from the sweet stack. 2 scoops of Oreo ice cream, with warm fudge on top. Oh yeah!!! Now, even though the ice cream was heavenly here's some stuff to be mindful of. It is in downtown Atlanta in the auburn area. So you will have to find parking on the road. They open late, midnight to be exact. Also, on 4 customers allowed in at a time. So be ready for a wait. The staff are helpful and nice, but be clear about what you want. I hate to say it but they seem a little distracted. Awesome spot and nice flavor listings.

I love that they had vegan options, but I was presented with a "vegan brownie" but realized after looking at the ingredients that it was actually just dairy free and had egg in the brownie which was a huge bummer, also everyone was a bit unorganized and took a while to get all of our orders. read more

Ordered this from UberEats at 10pm at night. I saw it a few times and finally bit the bullet. The Cuban Coffee Cream and the "Black Panther" will definitely have me coming back for more. It arrived at my place, without melting too much to my surprise. Probably, because I ordered it at almost midnight, ha! Not too many people are standing around for ice cream at near midnight on a Monday. My only one criticism is you have to be careful when you eat this, because the more colorful flavors can stain your teeth/tongue, ha! In other words, I don't recommend leading a board meeting or heading to a job interview after getting this ice cream. Anyways, great flavors! A nice ice cream addition to metro ATL. read more

i came here last week with my friend and got a scoop of the black panther icecream with the cookie sandwich. the black panther ice cream is why i went in the first place, its activated charcoal with coconut and vanilla wafers inside. honestly, i didnt like the ice cream very much because it kind of tasted like bubble gum and it was super hard to eat with the cookie in it. everything about it was just so so sweet, i couldnt even finish it. my friend got the cookie monster (i think), its vanilla with cookies in it but the ice cream is blue. stained his mouth and didnt taste good either. my final complaint is the price. it was really expensive. for my cookie sandwish and his ice cream in a cup (both got a single scoop) it totaled to $14, including their 50% off for happy hour. all in all, not my favourite place at all but it is really cool if you just want to take a photo. read more

This place is pretty average, they've got some interesting flavors such as Black Panther (charcoal, almond) but they're not incredibly special. The customer service was fine, though I think they would've benefited from having another person there as it took a long time to get service because of how busy they were. It's in kind of a sketchy area, so just be careful if you go during nighttime. read more

We were craving some ice cream and ran into this shop. They are definitely following covid protocols and only allowing 4 people at a time in the building. But other than that, the ice cream was very satisfying! I had Sweet Dreams and enjoyed it very much, I do recommend it! I didn't try any of the stuffed donut or cookie ice cream, but maybe next time I will! read more

Went to check this place out last night.... well... it was just ok ice cream is tasty ... except in my scoop I could taste like a freezer burn taste in some of my scoop. The cone was fresh.. the marshmallows I put on my scoop were old and hard had to pick them off. Would I go back? No! More hype and cute pics than actual freshness. Took a bunch of work colleagues to this place for an afternoon treat after just searching on Yelp for the closest ice cream place. I got the donut sandwich with the Cookie Monster ice cream. Was absolutely delicious and the employee spent the time to put little cookies around the outside. Other colleagues got cones, cups, and one other got the donut sandwich. Everyone crushed it. Bright, open space located in the heart of downtown. There's a parking garage with free parking right next to it- though the space is somewhat limited. The workers always friendly and helpful and the stacks are phenomenal, and there's a ton of topping options as well; I just really wish they offered a wider variety dairy free flavors. read more

I thought I should decide priorly.so I read reviews on Yelp and Google what flavors are most popular one's. when it's my turn to order I asked the staff as well to suggest me few flavors so I picked what's in common..let me tell you first time visitors don't be panic what to order you'd be perplexed with hell number of flovours out there as staff are too sweet get the help from them or do your little research ahead. Delicious ice cream and a great variety of flavors! We got three different flavors and all of them were delicious. We had the ice cream delivered to us through the online ordering option which was pretty cool and it was still cold when we got it. Their delivery rates were cheaper than others I had seen for similar places and they were very accurate with the estimated times for delivery. read more

Drip, drip....Came through drippin!! This place got that ice cream drip FR FR. I had a scoop of that Black Panther (activated charcoal, coconut with chunks of Nilla Wafers) while the rest of the squad got that Stack, which is a warm donut, stuffed with your choice of ice cream. Had a little ice cream FOMO but my scoop was bomb so I didn't trip. Mos def check this place out of you're in the area. read more

I visited this place last night. It's very cute with catchy Icecream names like Black Panther and Amber Rose. I got a stacked chocolate chip cookie with Cookie Monster Ice-cream (blue vanilla Ice-cream with Oreo and chocolate chip cookie dough pieces) rolled in brownie pieces. They warm the cookies and placed the Icecream in between. It was good but not exactly what I was looking for. The brownies weren't soft pieces, which is the part of the brownie I like versus the ends of the brownie that are harder. I also didn't really taste much cookie dough in the Ice-cream, so that was a little disappointing. I also received a free scoop of ice cream by checking in on yelp. I got the Black Panther, which was decent. It has a vanilla coconut flavor with vanilla wafer pieces. It was also lacking in the amount of vanilla wafer pieces. I encountered very few crumbs while eating that scoop. Overall, I would return for a cup of ice-cream in the future read more

Great ice cream experience! If you're in the mood for ice cream, I highly recommend coming her to get your sweet tooth fix! The vibes and interior are artistic and welcoming. Now this place can give you a new and unique ice cream experience by offering ice cream sandwiches with either a donut or chocolate chip cookie bun with your choice of ice cream and toppings or if you're more of a traditionalist, they have waffle cones, waffle bowls, or cups! They allow your 2-3 samples and their selection of flavors are unique and tasty! The matcha is perfectly balanced without being bitter or overly sweet, the black panther is delicious with a coconut flavor, the caramel praline is perfect for pecan praline lovers, the Cuban coffee goes perfectly in a donut sandwich, Cookie Monster is Oreo and cookie dough ice cream combined, and amber rose is a sweet treat tasting if cotton candy and pop rocks. You can't go wrong with this place! read more

My new go to spot for my ice cream cravings! Went on a Sunday night with my hubby as we were feeling curious to try it out. And let's say they did not disappoint. My husband and i are simple people who don't like a lot of extra stuff but with the help of Kenny & Daylian they both assisted me and my husband to find something fun and different and we both LOVED it! My daughter and I decided to stop by because we were craving a milkshake in downtown Atlanta and the looked to be the only place. We walked down from the Hilton. It was about 10 blocks away. We waited in line for 45 minutes and planed the flavor of milkshake we wanted over and over and over again. We watched 100 people go an out of the place with milkshakes. When it was our turn the young girl and guy decided that they were no longer going to make milkshakes because the line was too long. This is not a joke. They told us to our face that they would not make a milkshake for us after we had waited in line for 45 minutes because the line was long, but we were allowed to order ice cream. Overall a very professional experience. I think we got there in the middle of a shift change, not so bad but the girl from the previous shift decided to chain smoke out front while there was a long line. Dropped in late for something cold and sweet after the Hell's Fury burger at Vortex in L5P... But that's another story... We we're greeted warmly by the manager who explained the concept. Had the signature sweet stack with a glazed donut and Cuban coffee ice cream with Heath bar bits.
