Cute sweet shop in downtown lava hot springs. Went out to eat at a Thai food place and then were walking around back to the car and stopped in this place to check out some ice cream. There wasn't anything dairy free, maybe a sorbet or something but I didn't end up getting anything from the ice cream area of it, I did get some kind of dessert that was a candy type thing. Would stop back in but hopefully they could get some dairy free and gluten free options!

This place is a cute little sweet shop with square ice cream and fun candies, but it's nothing spectacular. We had to try the ice cream because who doesn't want to eat ice cream in the shape of a square?! We ordered a couple different flavors and tried bites of all of them. The ice cream was okay -- a little grainy and not as creamy or flavorful as I hoped. The cool thing about it was the shape, not the taste. They also have a deli here, but we didn't try anything from it. Even though the ice cream wasn't especially good, we had a good experience here. There was a long line, but it moved very quickly! We were only waiting for a few minutes. The employees were helpful and kind, too, and there were some unique flavors! Not the greatest ice cream in the world, but it's definitely a fun place to stop on a getaway to Lava Hot Springs.

Novelty ice cream shop with a variety of candy. The ice cream is just Farrs ice cream. They also have some fun fudge, plenty of seating. A little pricey, but fun to get a square scoop of ice cream.

Been here twice now and have enjoyed it both times. Reason for four stars? I don't eat ice cream so I don't know what it tastes like, just know my kids have loved it. They have like 5 employees at one time trying to help anyone that's ready and they try to get you in and out. Their square scoops are awesome and inventive. Not a lot of sitting room and air conditioning on full blast. Which is nice on a hot day but not good on a day of tubing the river. Lol. I will go here every time I go to the springs.

Great ice cream and smoothies. Loud and not a lot of room. It was worth the drop and loved our choices. I think the Hawaiian sunset was awesome.

Sweet Stuff was a great place to stop for ice cream and Idaho Spuds after a dip in the hot springs.

They over froze the ice cream so there was clumps of ice in the ice cream! Not Great. The candy shop part looked decent though.

Great ice cream served in weird but wonderful little bricks. Try the local flavors-- can't go wrong with Huckleberry!

Fun and eclectic. Novelty to have square served ice cream. Felt like smaller portions than used to at most creamaries. Ice cream was ok.

I get a mixed box of mallow-nuts, hucklberry clusters, peanut clusters, and the rare black walnut bar. The new moose bar is also quite exquisite, but I wish the packaging was up to the level of the beautiful graphics on the older bars. You can walk in and order a box, and for some reason, when they come from the factory they are soooo FRESH! One of my favorite candy experiences ever. Thank you Farr's!

EDIT : currently is june 10th. i ordered on may 18th. have yet to receive anything and have pretty much only gotten a couple responses back blaming usps even though as of a week ago they still hadn't received the product, only were given a pending tracking number which has now been removed by usps. it's been almost a month, i have not gotten my stuff and they have not responded further or adequately whatsoever. laughably unprofessional would describe the couple emails i did get. which 'promised' it would be here by last friday somehow, obviously, it was not because i still don't have it. how can you take the money immediately, send me nothing, and give me nearly no communication or updates or anything. horrible.

I'm like a kid in a candy store when I visit...well, a candy store. So when I saw The Candy Jar…read morefrom across the street while I was at the potato museum (yes, it's a thing, yes I recommend you go), I had to check it out. My travel partner was excited to try the potato chocolate after having one previously at another location. He was disappointed in this version-it wasn't as good as he remembered. I enjoyed a cherry cordial which was tasty, although maybe not the best I've ever had. There were lots of options to choose from and we got a variety box of different chocolates-and we quickly forgot what was what. We came back a little while later to ask the employee to help us identify them and she was able to easily tell us what we had in the box. I was glad because there were some "surprises" that I was less interested in. If chocolate isn't your thing, don't dismay-there are other goodies just for you. Prepackaged candy as well as ice cream to seal the deal and satisfy your sweet tooth.

What a great candy shop in downtown Blackfoot!…read more They have a good selection of pre-packaged candies, popcorns, and home-made marshmallows. They also have a good variety of home-made fudge in a variety of flavors. You can also get samples of the fudge before you buy. All of the fudge was delicious, our favorite was the English toffee. The owner of the store was there and he was very friendly and welcoming. The whole store has a wonderful atmosphere and was very fun and welcoming. A lot of charm. There's also a little art gallery in the back of the store which is lovely as well.
