I had gotten food at Jim Dandy and really liked my burger, so I had to come to their standalone restaurant! It did not disappoint. I actually went twice when I was in town. Their menu seems smaller but a lot of good options! The truffle fries are a must and I loved the burger with aioli

Small place but has intimate feeling since you walk into. Came here around 4:30 pm to beat the crowd and yes afterward customers start filled the dining area. They have patio which is great when the weather nice. Good service and they have recommendations whats specials of the day as well.

Breakfast: Country Fried Pork, potatoes, eggs and the best country gravy I've had. (And a To Go Box) Thanks Hailey and Cooks!

I stopped here for Breakfast today. This is my second time and both times have been exceptional!! Hailey was my waitress. She was attentive, helpful and cheerful with her service. I had the pork fried steak with gravy, hash browns and eggs. Lots of food and very good. My husband will be having the rest for his dinner tonight. We will be back soon!!

We were passing through Pocatello and wanted to stop for a quick lunch. Lots of national chains were available. We chose to pick a local spot. Great decision! Great food. Amazing atmosphere. Great people. Stuffed French toast was awesome. Burger and fries were yummy! Kids bubble waffles were fun and yummy! I highly recommend this place

The Hangover...the rosemary gravy is subtle but delicious

Serendipity at play! Saw the reviews and things looked tempting, then we just happened to drive by on a Sunday morning in our way to another local breakfast spot and did a u-turn to try something new. We stepped in around 10:15am and things were brisk, we sat at the bar for ease and within 15 minutes a 4-top, a 12-top and multiple couples sat. We beat the rush on food ordering so that was a win. A tad slow to get us started with coffee as they were running to keep up with the other ten tables already seated. We got coffee and scoped out the menu. We were treated to a locals top three from one of the staff which was a win also when it came to what we ordered. The brisket hash was really flavorful and a bit sweet. We shared a side salad to get some greens and I had the hangover which is a bowl breakfast goodies covered in a rosemary breakfast gravy. I'd say it was all perfect for the price. Took about 20 minutes to come out of the kitchen but the salad was fast. They kept our coffee hot and were appropriately attentive. As for parking, no issues. Plenty of street parking and maybe a dozen spots in a very small lot. I thought the space was cozy, seated a variety of group sizes and has a great patio space outside for warmer weather. Full bar and local beers and tap. They were serving up cocktails the entire time we were there. If we lived here, this could be a regular spot.

Service and atmosphere were very nice. The menu was small which allows them to make amazing food. I'll recommend to my family who just moved to the area. Very good.

    Freaking delicious

Alright I'm eating at The Palate right now. And it's so good I had to leave a review before I left. I didn't want to leave here and forget. I'm that impressed! I got the Steak & Fries & my wife got the brisket mad & cheese. 5 stars in every aspect. I ordered my steak medium rare. And it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying this place.

Cute little place and with the weather being so nice the outside patio is a win! I nabbed the brisket breakfast burrito and it wasn't too shabby. Brisket was moist and juicy but I wish there was just a little bit more like there was a good amount of fries in this wrap. Small menu but a decent array of things to pick. Service was good and didn't have to wait too long for anything. Hope to come back for dinner and have some beers on the patio.

My family of 6 eats everything family style, this allows us to try it all :-)…read more We had... *Corn chowder(very good, but seemed pricey for the size, especially in comparison to other items), this was served with thin slices of grilled bread instead of crackers, which was amazing!!! *Blondie mac&cheese. This is super yum!! With bacon?!?!?! Extra indulgent!! So good!! *Palate burger. Bacon jam? Yes, please! Pickle Aioli? Interesting, sign me up! This was a yummy burger, although I never did find the cheese on it....yet still happily ate my piece. *Ambitious Blonde Burger. I would have preferred a bit more beer cheese-or maybe a 2nd type of cheese too? but it was still very yummy!! The generous amount of yummy bacon made up for any smaller amount of cheese ;-) *Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Super yum, although we are used to more of an oil based "sauce" and this was something else. Still good, still spicy, just not super authentic(we lived in the Nashville/Huntsville area for a decade) *Pulled pork Sandwich. Super good. Sauce seems homemade, great compliment to the sandwich! *Smoked Tri-tip Sandwich. Really good. The bbq sauce, toppings make it next level! This is coming from someone who never understood the hype of tri-tip(when living in CA), but finally did-just took going to ID to figure it out ;-) *Cuban Sandwich. This was good. Had the pulled pork from above & was very yummy!! Condiments once again took it to the next level! Exactly what it should be! *Pretzel Bites. These were served with beer cheese & super yum, kids loved them! Everything was amazing & we cannot wait to go back for more!! All 4 kids loved everything!!

When we walked in the server insisted that we sit inside instead of going out back. I wish we had gone out back to the truck, our server was super attentive but we felt a bit forced to buy a drink from them and ordering via the bistro QR code from the table was a little clunky. We were also traveling and the drink menu from Jim Dandy's didn't tickle our fancy. My husband got the Piggyback Burger with truffle fries and it was delicious! All of the flavors went well together and were plentiful. I had the pork tacos and the brussel sprouts. The brussels could've feed four people and were a bit on the very well done side. The tacos were full of meat but just okay and the chimichurri was nothing to write home about. The location was clean and quiet. Loads of seating inside and had some fun decor touches. Maybe we'll head to the other location next time we are in the area.
