Stopped by sweet Valentine Bakery yesterday and had a great experience. Was greeted by the workers and was given a free chocolate chip cookie to sample. There are tables and chairs to enjoy your treats. As I walked in it looked like the owners were getting interviewed for a podcast. I checked out the counter and saw all the delicious looking Bundt cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, pies, and banana cream pudding. I ended up with the brown butter chocolate chip cookies, banana pudding, and a cinnamon roll. Everything tasted great and satisfied my sweet tooth. I loved the fact I was able to walk-in last minute and grab a whole dessert option for a party, rather than just single serve options. I bought a large Banana Pudding. It was about $43. Heard of this bakery from my sister while I was visiting from out of town. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and we were generously offered a full sized free sample of their cookies! This is a new place located where Da Vinci Ice Cream used to be (the same shopping complex as DD's Discounts on the Northwest corner of Albertoni and Avalon). There is a lot of parking all the time. I've never had an issue finding a spot. It appears that the official opening is this Saturday, January 20th, but I decided to check it out early. When I arrived, I was greeted by all three people working and as I was browsing the selection, I was offered a free Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie. WOW! It was fantastic - the chocolate morsels just melted in my mouth. Just because it was free, I didn't stop there. I got even more cookies (3 for $5) to-go, as well as an Individual Cinnamon Roll ($7.50) and some Nutella Banana Pudding ($6). I wanted to try the Cinnamon Roll since, from what I heard, it is one of their specialties. I liked it. I'd say it's the best of its kind in the area (it sure beats the Cinnamon Rolls from Panera Bread). The Banana Pudding was probably one of the best that I've ever had as its sweetness was not overpowered by overuse of sugar which some other places tend to do. Overall, this is a great spot! I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful bakery . As soon as I walked in, I fell in love with the decor and color schemes. The wonderful aromas coming from the display case were hypnotic. I was looking at the great designed merch and was greeted by the owner Matt Valentine hence the concept behind the bakery. He handed me a freshly baked buttery brown butter chocolate chip cookie and just tasting that alone will have you hooked! I walked over to the display of assortment of desserts from cookies to banana pudding to cinnamon rolls to Bundt cakes to pies to cobblers. I've found the one spot that has everything I could ever want all under one roof. They have a beautiful mural of their logo with two beautiful bright chairs and set up is definitely Instagram wall photo ready to snap some pics or just sit by the well light storefront and enjoy your desserts. Parking: ample parking available Customer Service was excellent from the owner to the staff . I love their saying: "Have a sweet day!" Black owned business ran with excellence. The grand opening is 1/20/2024. I went during their soft opening period and found them through an Instagram ad. Trust me you won't be disappointed and will become repeat customers. Recently found out about this place. So I went to check it out. I love that they're open kind of late for bakery. Most bakeries close around 4:00 to 6:00. P.m.. The banana pudding was a hit. I'm a very picky about banana pudding. It was made the traditional way with plenty of cookies and vanilla pudding. I am a banana pudding snob and usually don't eat anyone's other than my own. I visited Sweet Valentine Bakery for the first time today, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile--and a cookie that made me believe the world would be a much better place if we all ate it. The cinnamon roll was soft and sweet with every bite. I took this to-go and devoured it in my car before I headed in to work. The cookie is always light and added a little extra sweetness to my day. I also tried their lychee lemonade which was so refreshing and had e yam amounts of flavor between the lychee and lemonade. The service here is always nice and they always greet you when you walk in. I got the butter brown chocolate chip cookies and toffee cookies. They were 2 for $4. For the regular cinnamon rolls, it was $7.75. The total came out $11.75. The textures of the cookies were perfect. Not too hard and not too soft. I was the first person in line. The cinnamon rolls were cold. The texture was dry and stale. The taste is similar to regular plain donuts, except it was with icing. I had to peel the cinnamon rolls with my fingers because my fork wasn't able to stab it through. For the icing, it was absolutely perfect. The cookies I will continue to repurchase. For the cinnamon rolls, I prefer Sweet Jill's Bakery in Long Beach. I will try the lemonade next. read more

Every Friday, I take my daughter for the treat of her choice. She told me this morning she wanted cake. I was scrolling IG and this bakery's video came up on my timeline. Normally, I see delicious food and it'll be in Miami or New York, but this was right up the street from my house, of course I'm going to go see what's up. We walked in and it was very clean. Everyone from the team to the customers were so nice and up for conversation. It was very nice. We also all were greeted with a complimentary brown butter chocolate chip cookie that was SO good. Robin went over the menu items with us and she was such a joy to meet. My little family and I picked out goodies and put them on these cute trays to hold on to while we shopped. It's a very cozy and quaint location. The prices were very good. $5 for a cake slice. $2 for a cookie and whole cake or bundle deals are available. They also have brownie bites and cinnamon rolls that I will definitely be returning for. Everything we got was delicious. The homemade love you get from grandmas house is in every bite of their menu. I really loved the maple brown butter cake and the toffee pecan cookies, but everything was delicious. I took a few promotional cards for friends. I will definitely continue to visit this bakery. Walking into this bakery was dang near equivalent to walking into someone's gracious home. The hospitality provided by the staff is a quality to come back for. As for the desserts, I have only tried the banana pudding so far, but let me tell you, it's GOOD. You can't trust everyone's banana pudding but I trust it from Sweet Valentine! I have been craving peach cobbler and saw this on Instagram so decided to try it. We picked up a large banana pudding and 2 peach cobblers. The banana pudding was delicious, everyone in my family raved about it but the peach cobbler was a total disappointment. So much cinnamon and only 4 peaches in the container.
