Ube cake, chocolate cake, and mango cake

Jenny's has the BEST CAKES EVER! Not too sweet and super light and fluffy. They. can make them super cutesy and customized.

Cars theme 1/4 sheet cake

I always order my cakes from here and they always taste so good !! not too sweet , light and fluffy frosting , affordable prices , always decorated exactly how i want it ! Quick and easy ordering and pickup . I have no complaints! Will continue to come here for my cakes for future events to come !

Some type of rice cake. Good.

I came here on a recommendation (thanks Joseph A.) seeking out some Filipino mung bean cakes. They were such a hit with my family we went back a few more times. I also recommend the chicken pies. No raisins in them either, yay! Jenny's Bakery is a complete hole-in-the-wall. Their cakes are not on sale in a display case, instead you must order in advance - my preference as it guarantees freshness. I believe this place is CASH ONLY.

It's my first time to order from them and I am very happy with the Boba cake I ordered for my son's birthday. Chocolate cake was so good and so as the hopia-baboy. They are also very accommodating with my last minute order.

I love their cakes! Tastes delicious and looks great! I never order anywhere else. They make great empanadas and Hopia too.

My daughter gave them a picture of what she wanted. They did it exactly as she asked.

My friend from work raved about this place. We had white cake filled with strawberry. It was fresh and good. A bit pricey, but then again. What isn't. It's a fair deal compared to other bakeries. At least you know it's fresh. We were happy and would come again.

Thank you for making perfect cake! This cake made my son so happy on his 8th birthday. Cake was very delicious with fresh strawberry inside! Not too sweet! Good for kids :)

My friend loved this pretty cake... moist, light and delicious. I chose vanilla with strawberry filling. Jenny's did an awesome job... beautiful flowers, soothing colors and thoughtfully placed little pearls. A work of art indeed! Well done..

For what this place is and what they offer, it's great! My family has been coming here for their hopia for over 20 years. They have pork (baboy) and mongo (mung bean) which are both good, I personally like the mongo better, my mom loves both. You should order your goods at least 30 minutes in advance, especially if it's a big order. Also if you've never been here, keep in mind this is not the best hang out spot. It's more of an in and out visit. They accept cash, just not 100 dollar bills and card transactions over $10.

Beautiful cakes that taste great! Very unique flavors like mango and Ube (purple yam). Was a hit at our party!

I've been buying cakes here for over 35 years. The cakes are light and filled with fruit. Not overly sweet either.

Great place to buy hopia. The price is reasonable. The hopia are soft. I'll comeback and buy again.

They have simple rules items. My only one-off is that this place is really pricey! Most of all their items are expensive, and usually I end up either leaving or having to only get what I want. I know it's a small mom and pop bakery to probably cover their overhead, but their prices are pretty up there! They should sell them in smaller batches or more affordable options for buyers. Sadly, we even witnessed a guy stealing here one time. He was putting bread under his shirt and left. We told the shop owner but that guy got away when the owner tried to stop him.

I really like their pan de sal, ube breads, kakanins , Turon and several other items. Yeah I'll definitely come back. But anyway,

All their bread is so light and pastries aren't too sweet. If this is your first time- get the strawberry croissant. It's the best. This location is way more spacious than Tustin too, but parking is a bit limited. We were able to find street parking because the lot was full. We got- Egg Sando (4/5) closest thing to Japan with their milk bread and def used kewpie. I just wish there was more egg filling. Chicken katsu (5/5) just like how I remember. Curry is so fragrant and slightly sweet. Chicken is crispy Strawberry croissant (5/5): a must. Do it. There's a reason why they sell platters of it Plenty of seating inside. I was in Lomita and was looking for a place to grab coffee and pastries. While browsing Yelp, I was…read moresurprised to find out there was a Cream Pan nearby. I've always wanted to try their Orange County location but just never got around to it, so I was excited to finally give them a try. I walked in expecting it to be self-serve like 85 Degrees Bakery, but it's actually set up more like a donut shop or Porto's, where most of the pastries are displayed in a case and you tell the staff what you'd like. They do have a refrigerated self-serve section with sandwiches and onigiri, as well as a table with loaves of bread and buns. The ordering process caught me off guard because I usually like taking my time looking through all the pastries at bakeries. Since everything was behind the counter, I felt a little rushed with people waiting behind me. They have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming. I also had to stop myself from ordering too much since I'm trying to cut back on carbs. Here's what I ordered: Hot Dog Bun - 4/5: Tasty with a soft, fluffy bun. I just wish it had a little more of that cheesy crust on top. Ham and Cheese Croissant - 3/5: My boyfriend ordered this and thought it was just okay. It was a little small for the price. Strawberry Cream Croissant - 5/5: They're known for this, and now I understand why. The pastry was light and flaky, the strawberries were sweet, and the custard was rich without being overly sweet. Spam Roll Onigiri - 4/5: I loved the egg, and it was really flavorful. It was served a bit cold, though. I think it would taste even better if it were kept under a heat lamp. Raisin Bun - 5/5: So soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of raisins. It was also a great value--six buns for only $4.20. Hot Vanilla Latte - 4/5: Strong with just a light sweetness. It was really good, but I think it could have been a little creamier. The prices were reasonable. I spent about $26 for everything, which I thought was a great deal. Customer service was excellent. Even though there was a line behind me, the staff never made me feel rushed while I decided what I wanted. The barista was especially friendly and even checked in afterward to ask if I liked my latte. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again.

My partner and I stopped by Cafe 86 in Carson hoping we had found our next go-to halo-halo spot…read more Unfortunately, authenticity and customer service were both missing from the recipe. Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.

This was me and my friends 2nd time to the Summer Nights and last year we really really enjoyed it…read more Everything was delicious and we couldn't wait to go back. This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.
