I absolutely love this Cava! It's really hard to find a place that is a good mix between flavor and health consciousness. Just when I thought being healthy couldn't also be delicious BOOM I find Cava and it's my new go to food obsession. I'm one of those people where it's super hard for me to find repeat places to go that hit all the marks. Freshness, flavor, vibe, low calorie etc and Cava is all those things without being bougie about it. I've been to a few locations, but the one in Woodland Hills is my favorite! And Nancy who works there is soooo helpful and sweet! She set the tone for a great experience. Something told me to try the Cava in Woodland Hills today and I'm so happy that I did! The customer service at CAVA was excellent. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and my order was prepared quickly. The food was fresh and delicious, and the team did a great job despite what seemed like challenging conditions. My only concern was the temperature inside the restaurant. During the 10 minutes I was there, it felt extremely hot and uncomfortable, to the point where I was sweating while waiting to order. I'm not sure if the AC was broken or not running, but with food being cooked as well, it felt unusually warm inside. I felt bad for both the customers and employees working in those conditions. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely return. I just hope the temperature issue gets addressed soon. read more

Cava is one of our go-to options for a healthier lunch. For the past year or so we've felt like the portion size had been shrinking. We stopped in on Saturday because we needed to run some errands nearby and we were pleasantly surprised to have a very full portion provided for our lunch. All the ingredients are always so fresh and their chicken is tender and well seasoned. They always pack our bowls and the service is quick and easy. I personally get a mix of romaine & mixed greens, white rice, chicken, and all of the veggies (minus the broccoli), make sure you try the Shkug and yogurt dill sauces at the end! Each bowl is around $13 and is plenty of food! Way more and fresher choices than Chipotle. Plenty of free 90-minute parking at the Village (no validating needed). Best place is to park in the underground area after you pass Costco, then walk through the Village and Cava is your left. There are plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant. read more

Rotten super greens in one bowl, rotten spinach in another. Instead of the three dips I chose, there were only two included in my bowl meaning one was left out entirely. And the amounts of greens has dwindled to a silly small amount. Tho' in this case less rotten greens is preferred. Sadly, while CAVA overall has been a favorite in our family we won't be headed back to this one. read more

Look, this place isn't great. I got the salmon bowl, and while it's flavorful, that's due to the sauces alone. The salmon was tender and well cooked. That's where my praise stops. I asked for no cucumber, and in my bowl I found several. I suspect there was some in the tomatoes. The rice was severely undercooked, to the point of being crunchy. They were also out of several ingredients, which led to an unbalanced dish. I paid $20 for this and I feel bad that I did. Want good healthy food? Support a local family owned business. Even if this is an upscale mall, the experience was bottom tier. C-, at least I'm confident I won't get food poisoning. read more

I really wanted to like Cava because a family member gave a strong recommendation. I generally don't like leaving negative reviews unless it's really deserved. Here's my rationale for my two-star review: Terrible customer service. One gentleman really stood out as unwelcoming and bordering on rude. No one else was amazingly welcoming either. No one really seemed enthusiastic about working there. We spent about $50 for three bowls, a can of sparkling water and a bag of pita chips. Otherwise, terrific location at the Topanga Village, food tasted okay, and the restaurant itself seemed clean. I liked the variety of flavorful sauces. It was a nice morning so we decided to sit outside. Plenty of seating at the time, around 11:30am. There's an outdoor jungle gym right outside of Cava for adventurous kids. Had there been better customer service I think I would possibly have given 4 stars. read more

My husband wants to highlight Flora's service in the Topanga and Porter Ranch location as she is always kind courteous and conversational with us as customers she also goes above and beyond what is expected of her! to ensure our food and experience is great! we also want to acknowledge Jennifer at the Topanga location who also goes above and beyond especially ensuring the food is fresh; she has excellent customer service a positive attitude and makes it a point to keep the restaurant and food areas clean I hope the managers promote these women as they deserve to have more esteemed potions! I tried the Steak Harissa Bowl, and while the steak was a little dry that day, the hummus and vegetables really brought everything together, adding great texture and flavor. My friend ordered the Garlic Chicken Pita, and it was absolutely delicious--well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. For drinks, we tried the Pineapple Apple drink, which was refreshing, tasty, and had just the right level of sweetness. Portion sizes were just right, and overall, it was a satisfying meal. Great, quality, and delicious options! I love a good balanced bowl and I'm definitely adding Cava to one of my go-to places for food. Staff was friendly and helpful as it was our first time eating Cava. While the line was long, they were able to get our orders quick and easy thanks to there being at least one staff member always working at each station. Gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it was pretty trashed up and dirty. I get that it's a busy Thursday night dinner rush though. A little trash isn't going to stop me from getting Cava but if I were to stay for a sit down dinner, I might go to a different location. I have just absolutely had it with this place. How hard is it to take a receipt with a list of ingredients and add them one by one into a bowl?? Apparently an impossible task for the people who work here. Received yet another horrible bowl tonight. My dressings on the side were inside my bowl instead of actually on the side, taking up unneeded space in the bowl that was incredibly empty looking as it is. Part of that being that they left THREE ingredients I selected out of my bowl--that might be a new record since usually they forget 1-2. I'm attaching photos of my sad, empty, incorrect bowl and my receipt. No eggplant dip, no tomato and cucumber, no Persian cucumbers. This is ridiculous and I don't think I'll ever order from Cava again. They're unable to do better. read more

This is the only cava near me and I LOVE it. I'm so obsessed with their bowls, pita chips, and the cucumber lime drink is to die for. The workers are super hip and accommodating, answering any questions I have. There is a lot of seating inside and out which I appreciate. I ordered my food at 2:15pm and it wasn't ready until 3:25pm! No apologies or anything to rectify the situation. And rude behavior and tone on top of it.! read more

I order from CAVA all around LA very often. This is by far the worst out of all of them. They barely give you any food and charge more than all other locations. I had one instance there where somebody asked where I was from and then tried to charge me triple because they didn't like my answer. Never coming here again. read more

Sadly the bowl I got this time was so small. The guy taking my order really skimped. There was a lot of workers around doing various jobs, but no one helped me for a while, while I stood there. When he finally came over, he smirked and rolled his eyes at my order as he made it. Before I could even ask for a pita bread, he just walked to the back, once he was done with my order. I had to ask the cashier for the pita bread. She seemed annoyed to have to go get it. Once I ate the bowl, I then realized the lentils were undercooked, some were still rock hard. I never knew that there was a Cava at the Village at Topanga, but I'm glad to have found it. The staff members were especially friendly and patient during my first time ever ordering. I was able to sample a large number of their items, and the best part (outside of affordability) was that I never felt guilty eating any of their ingredients. My personal go-to is a half-and-half of their saffron rice and super greens, followed by half-and-half of chicken and grilled veggies and then (unfortunately) all their toppings with skhug - ugh, the best! This is understandably a busy location, but the one of the disadvantages of this location is that it's often never clean. Whether restrooms or the main eating area, the floor are often dirty and littered with trash. I wish there was more of an effort to keep it an inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the staff here are regularly some of the most hardworking and welcoming; I wish there was a way to tip them! :( read more
