    Chicken Pho

Yum to the Tum! When you are feeling sick to your stomach or sick in general this is the perfect food to help you be cured! Also really good for a hangover! The chicken pho and the broth are on point with flavor and then the condiments like bean sprouts and mint and etc bring into life! Yum

Love how there is a Pho So 1 one in West Hills. My family and I used to go to the one in Reseda all the time. Pho always comes out hot and delicious. I've switched over from the og pho tai to the pho dac biet (number 1) and it hits me to the core whenever I need a homey soup recovering from anything. Price has definitely gone up but seems like the portion size is somewhat bigger. Service is always fast. Ambiance is casual.

Our go to Pho place in West Hills. Always good dishes & very quick. Reasonably priced & staff are attentive.

This is my go-to place for Vietnamese food. I usually get the #1 or the Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Pork and shrimp. I also always get an order of egg rolls. The egg rolls are very flavorful and crispy and come with lots of veggies and dipping sauce. They dont look like your typical egg rolls but do not skip this item. I recommend them over the spring rolls which are also very good. The portions are substantial. The menu at the other Pho So 1 locations vary slightly. The servers are nice and attentive. The restaurant has plenty of seating as well. If you haven't tried this place you need to stop by as soon as possible. Especially if you're trying to cure a hangover!!!

My friend was craving pho so we came by here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Pho So 1 is located in a plaza with lots of parking space. There is plenty of indoor seating and though it was a weekday at lunch, this place still had a half dozen or so tables filled. Only indoor seating is available and the food came super quick after ordering. For the pricing related to the portions of pho offered, I think this place is definitely competitive. Chín Pho 5/5, I had this and it was HUGE. I normally cannot finish a full bowl of pho and this was no exception. It came delightfully hot and steamy, the noodles were soft and most importantly the pho broth was delicious Chín Ñam Pho 4/5, my friend had this and she liked it and rated it as such Taro tea 4/5, I don't know if this was meant to be more of a tea or smoothie but it was cold and had parts of it freeze up and had to be broken down with my straw. The taro is strong and sweet which I enjoyed. Thai Tea 3/5, my friend had this with boba. She felt it was just average.

I like the new menu. In it, prices were categorized by type of meal. One gnawing question, though: does this new menu make it simple for customers to easily calculate the total or to make it easy for them to amend the price on the menu in a short notice? Either way, the menu is great in Ed's opinion. The quality of Yangzhou fried rice I ordered today went down below par! No doubt the rice was fried on laced with flavor with intense fire on a wok but the ingredients put into it were a bit too stingy (again, this was based on today's order) -- Chinese sausages were too small to be seen and were chopped too thin to even felt it on my tongue! Alas, after deep dive digging the pile of "rice" on the plate, I discovered two small shrimps besides the sausages! No other meat was discovered after that. That was a different approach Pho So 1 use to combat the inflation (less on meat!) I hope, the management will readjust and correct this so that the fried rice will be more tasteful & enjoyable. The service was fast as usual. Lighting was on par. The restroom was okay standard for an Asian restaurants; floor was always wet & no paper towel. Waiters/waitress were pretty polite. Enjoy skimpy meat dishes...

    Plastic gasket in soup.

This place is usually my go to spot for delicious rare steak Pho soup but after today I am forced to reconsider returning. My 7 yr old son and I stopped by for dinner and to my surprise I found what appeared to be a piece of plastic gasket in my soup. Shocked and grossed out I brought this to the attention of staff and they brought another soup out. As you can imagine I didn't feel comfortable having my son or myself eat here after that so we had to pass on our meal. I was especially taken back when the manager said I would be liable to pay for just one of the two soups I ordered even though we had just gotten there and hadn't eaten anything. Ultimately didn't pay for anything after reiterating that there was plastic in my soup. Not cool and definitely disappointed over this experience.

Vermicelli with Pork and egg roll

First time trying this place out. Food was meh... I ordered the Vermicelli with pork and egg roll and this is what I got. I usually order this dish from Pho Saigon in Chatsworth. Surprised to see the small amount of pork in this dish at this place. Place was clean and busy at lunch. Service was good.

17 bucks. No I haven't eaten it yet

It honestly reminded me of the quality and depth of flavor you'd find in the SGV -- which says a lot. The egg rolls may be small, but don't let that fool you -- they're packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. Easily some of the best Vietnamese egg rolls I've had in the SFV so far. I also noticed they have a solid selection of com tam on the menu, so I'll definitely be back to explore more. This is officially my go-to spot whenever I'm craving pho or Vietnamese food.

They have a parking lot out front , and we were greeted warmly by our friendly server immediately upon walking in. I didn't catch her name, but she's from Da Nang and so welcoming! A more diverse menu than some of our other faves... and I kept seeing that they are famous for their "#53 House Special Deep Fried Cornish Game Hen Marinated in Oyster Sauce" (CƠM GÀ NƯỚNG DẦU HÀO). This golden beauty has a crispy exterior, and is plated on a generous bed of rice. Not "broken", but still delicious! Drizzle some of their nuoc cham over the rice and chicken for a little extra magic! Order first because it needs a new extra minutes to prepare. We also ordered the House Special Imperial Egg Rolls (CHẢ GIÒ). True confessions, I'm usually judgy when I see egg rolls with the smooth wonton style wrappers rather than the bubbly, blistery rice paper wraps.. but these noble egg rolls won me over regardless! The shrimp and pork filling was well seasoned and delicious! I couldn't decide between trying their pho or the Vietnamese udon noodles.. since we were feeling adventurous, I went with the BÁNH CANH TÔM, CUA, GIÒ HEO at our server's recommendation. It was tasty, had decent shrimps and even a real crab claw! The broth was a little mild until I added some of the juice from the fresh lime wedges and that awakened the flavor! The udon noodles were perfectly bouncy and we devoured the bowl! For a little something sweet; we ordered a Che 3 Mau to go. Our thoughtful server offered to pack the crushed ice on the side so the dessert wouldn't get too diluted. It was refreshing and hit the spot! Our decision to come here was a spontaneous pivot, and we're so happy to have found this little gem! We will be back!

The staff was very friendly and poliete. My one issue is the price is on the higher side but with as good as everything tasted I'm willing to splurge to give my mouth a taste of Nirvana.

The boys and I were driving around for a bit to see what we wanted for lunch so I pulled over to…read morepull out the nifty Yelp app to see what was close by. We decided on Oi Asian which had great reviews, so why not. First off, let me say that there is plenty of parking, however, the parks are extremely narrow for some reason. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car due to the width of the parks smh. Anyway, once we got inside, there wasn't anyway at the register and after standing there for a while, I noticed the kiosk so unplaced my order there. There were only two cooks in the back. We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5
