I ordered my usual -- beef and tendon pho (Pho Xe Lua) along with the chicken egg rolls. Service was quick and on point. The pho? Super flavorful, rich, and comforting. It honestly reminded me of the quality and depth of flavor you'd find in the SGV -- which says a lot. The egg rolls may be small, but don't let that fool you -- they're packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. Easily some of the best Vietnamese egg rolls I've had in the SFV so far. I also noticed they have a solid selection of com tam on the menu, so I'll definitely be back to explore more. This is officially my go-to spot whenever I'm craving pho or Vietnamese food.

The Ban Xeo was not bad, but I wish the oil had been a bit hotter so it was less greasy. The pho and all its accompaniments was pretty good. No more Viet beer, so we had some Sapporo. Of course, nothing is as good as it was in Saigon, but it's much closer to home!

The egg rolls were tasty and came with a nice dipping sauce, and the pork chop dish was flavorful and enjoyable. Drizzle some of their nuoc cham over the rice and chicken for a little extra magic! Order first because it needs a new extra minutes to prepare. We also ordered the House Special Imperial Egg Rolls (CHẢ GIÒ). True confessions, I'm usually judgy when I see egg rolls with the smooth wonton style wrappers rather than the bubbly, blistery rice paper wraps.. but these noble egg rolls won me over regardless! The shrimp and pork filling was well seasoned and delicious! I couldn't decide between trying their pho or the Vietnamese udon noodles.. since we were feeling adventurous, I went with the BÁNH CANH TÔM, CUA, GIÒ HEO at our server's recommendation.
