My friend and I finished dining nearby and wanted something sweet. It was early afternoon and the store was near empty. In the past at other Sweet Frog locations, I was able to sample flavors, so we asked for that ability here. The woman who was at the cash register abruptly said no - they don't do samples - AND SHE WAS NOT KIND ABOUT IT. She looked mad and like she was sucking lemons. My friend needed a sugar-free option, and there was only one flavor. She asked about others, as you can imagine, the same sour-faced woman said NO. We left and went elsewhere. How in the world do they put signs in the windows that it's a neighborhood favorite??? I've read other reviews here - basically saying the same thing. Hello?! Listen to the people and their experiences. Not parting with my hard-earned money here and will tell everyone about our negative experience by word of mouth as well. Just walked out of the store with my two young kids because I asked for a sample spoon/cup and was told it's store policy that they don't give out samples. We've gone here quite a lot but today the older lady owner had an unacceptable attitude towards my husband. She got upset with him because water came out of the out of order machine (he didn't see sign that was improperly posted) so he had to throw away the small cup. She didn't like that and told him so. It was only worth a few cents so why get so upset. Her attitude got even worse when we showed her their "No Weigh Wednesday" text where a full small cup was only $5. She should not be the one at the front register dealing with the public/customers. From now on we will go to MENCHIE'S instead!! I like it here. It's nice that Sweet Frog offers a self-serve frozen yogurt option to Williamsburgers, but I think there's plenty of room to grow. Out of the spread of options like this I've enjoyed, I'd put Sweet Frog in about the middle of the pack. The lighting and atmosphere is pleasant and bright, the employees are friendly, and the flavors and toppings are solid. Interestingly, this location -- don't know if it's chain-wide -- seems to have a religious backing, as "FROG" here appears an acrostic for "Fully Rely on God." I love this place, especially since I can walk there from my apartment! The froyo is always delicious and doesn't melt unnesseccarily fast, and the toppings are always plentiful! My only qualms with this place are that the table tops rotate far too easily (which is nice when you're trying to steal a friend's ice cream, but not so much when you put your arm down and your ice cream is suddenly running away from you) and I don't particularly care for the religious signage inside the store. Those are the only things that keep me from giving the place 5 stars, but if I could give 4.5 stars, I definitely would. Courteous employees and limitless variations of toppings and flavors. My favorite was a taro flavor. Unfortunately, I've only seen it there once. They price it by weight, so it actually really doesn't matter what size cup you get. The best flavors I've tried were taro, original, green tea, mango, and Georgia peach (yeah, I've been there a few times...). My advice is to skimp on the toppings--it can be easy to load up but I find they just add weight without adding much flavor. read more

They always change up the yogurts and the toppings always look great. I typically keep to the fruit flavors with fruit toppings and never have I been disappointed. Only negative is if you go on a nice Friday night or Saturday night the streets are littered with young hooligans which just stand around aimlessly. read more

So I'm in this location and a young individual with a service animal comes in and was refused service because of the service animal. I was shocked that the sweet Frog company would let this happen beyond the fact it's a federal law. I'm glad I had not gotten my ice cream yet. My favorite frozen yogurt place in town. The fruit is always fresh and they have a nice variety of flavors. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. However, I was very disappointed in the fact that they had removed the Nutella peanut butter sauce they had. I mentioned this last time I went and they had it behind the counter all this time so no one could see! I think that Sweet Frog's yogurt is pretty good. The yogurt is pretty tasty especially the mango flavor. This is my 3rd favorite yogurt place. The interior is pretty small though and it feels somewhat cramped. Overall an ok place for yogurt although it is not my first choice if I can help it. read more
