Twin Twins Snow Mountain Grass Jelly
    Vanessa C.

Sweet Honey Dessert is such a cute and aesthetic spot -- the kind of place that feels like you're eating in an enchanted forest. They have two ordering kiosks, which I love because you can take your time, look at the menu with pictures, and not feel rushed. The workers are always nice and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. My absolute favorite is the Twin snow mountains. I'm obsessed with the vanilla frost -- it's like chewing ice that's perfectly flavored with vanilla. The vanilla and matcha ice cream blend together really well, and pairing that with the grass jelly and strawberries is chef's kiss. My only tiny wish is that the strawberries were cut into smaller pieces so I could get one in every bite, but honestly I'll gladly do it myself. I come here all the time just for this dessert. It's my go-to and never disappoints.

Went out for dessert after an evening dinner. First time here, ordered Thai tea with a waffle cone and ice cream. Got our order quickly in a minute or two. I'm not usually as big on sweets as others, but this place was refreshing. If you've never tried the cone with one of their ice cream options, it's refreshing. I'm also a big Thai tea fan, would definitely order one again eating out in this area.

    Durian Milk Slush

This might just be the only place in the area that serves a durian milkshake and I am here for it! It's so good, I get it every time. I've had some of their other menu items and desserts, yet I find myself coming back to this drink. You order off a tablet/screen which makes it easier for you to take your time to order, it just takes the human aspect out of it which I know some people would prefer instead. The drinks and desserts are made fresh to order so it might take a little depending on how busy they are. There is indoor seating which makes it easy to enjoy with company. It does get cold sometimes when the ac kicks on because it's really cold and really strong, but it kicks off after a short while. Parking is plentiful as this is in a plaza but expect it to be busy during rush/peak hours because of this. For the car enthusiasts, the parking lot is mostly low car friendly, but there are some speed bumps further into the plaza, so be mindful of that. If you park in the back where the additional parking is at, you can mostly avoid the speed bumps.

Yummmm! So I didn't know half of what I was eating but I know it was super yummy! It wasn't too sweet... just right. Very light. Doesn't make you feel heavy like ice cream would. Service wasn't good and quick. Ambiance is super cute. Flowers and butterflies everywhere. My daughter would love it. Can't wait to bring her back here.

mango & mini glutinous rice balls with vanilla ice cream

If you're craving a mango sago and don't want to drive all the way to garden grove, sweet honey dessert is a great alternative. During this visit I got a mango with mini rice balls with vanilla ice cream, a bubble waffle, and a cloudy mango slush. They were all delicious and not too sweet. The service was quick and the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The restaurant was fairly empty on a Sunday morning and there was plenty of tables and chairs available to sit inside. The decor was cute, with hanging plants and moss decorations.

A nice cute little dessert spot! The staff was super helpful as well. When we first entered, we started to use the kiosk, but we had a lot of questions so the guy behind the counter was happy to take our order, answer our questions, and give us some excellent suggestions. We got the durian ice cream in the matcha waffle cone and that was excellent (as long as you like durian lol)! It wasn't just durian flavored, but actually durian mushed into an ice ball and the waffle cone stole the show for us as well. We also got non caffeinated brown sugar boba tea which was excellent! Honestly, everything great and everyone seemed to be happy with their order, so I would highly recommend stopping by this place next time you're in the area.

Me and a bunch of my friends randomly came across this dessert place. We ordered a nice mango dessert which had sago, mango bits and pomelo. The other one we got was the coconut jelly with blueberry and mango. All the things we ordered were SO good. The lady at the counter was also very helpful. The place has a lot of tables so you can sit down and enjoy. The decor is also really well done.

Just visited for the first time because I saw a banner with a BOGO deal for their coffee & WOW, it's good! Dare I say it's better than 7Leaves which is my usual go to. The coffee I got here is called the "Iced milk coffee pin style". It's strong, not overly sweet or bitter and exactly what I needed for the heat that has me in a slump. It was also nice and cold inside with super cute decorations. Will def be back for more coffee and to get some work done on my laptop :-)

A good dessert spot to chill with friends/family. My favorites here are the taro and mango desserts as seen in the photo.

I usually go here after dinner and the desserts definitely satisfy my cravings. My visit this time was at 7 PM and it was somewhat busy. I highly recommend their mango pomelo sago!

Had the mango with ice cream and once finished I got food poisoning. Been throwing up and feeling extremely nauseous and lightheaded after finishing my bowl. Not sure what it was but ruined the entire experience for me. I am not sure if I am open to trying this place again.

    Tofu pudding & Mango Pancakes
    Justine S.

Originally went in for the Eggettes but they were completely out of them so we settled for the mango pancakes and ginger tofu pudding. The mango pancake has a crepe like outside with whipped cream and mango inside. The pudding is a combination of sweet and spicy with the ginger and soft, warm tofu. Both tasted good but will have to try again for the eggettes!

Very decorative place. Perfect for hangout with (girl)friends. Easy fast service since you ordered via kiosks. The food and drink are great, perfect and hit the sweet spot. Parking can be hassle since it Sunday evening and the shopping mall is packed.

Ask the Community - SweetHoney Dessert - Artesia

What measures are they taking given the pandemic and when ordering delivery what is the packaging like?

Everything you order has a lid to it. Order for take out only.

Are they still close? Nobody seem to ever answer their phone there.

I was there 2 weeks ago and they were open.

Is this place ever opening again or closing forever?

Hello, We just reopened last weekend. Please check Yelp for our new operating hours. Thank you…

Are they open? They never answer the phone!

Nope. Even when they said they were, they weren't. They also said they were doing to open the first week of September. Well now we are at almost end of September, still nothing. I don't even know if they will ever open again.

When will they open? Since March I have not seen them open.

We will open the first week in September 2020. Thank you for your patience!

I know it's pandemic and all. But most restaurants still open for delivery and take out. They have been closed for almost three months. Are they going to reopen again? They keep pushing the date.

They are open for both dine-in and delivery now. Thanks.

Is this a sit down restaurant ? Or order at the counter restaurant?

Both. Order at the counter for take out or sit down of dine in

The mini Upside Down Halo Halo was the perfect size and wasn't like a mini at all lol. Had a taste of brown sugar, included boba, jellies, scoop of ice cream, the Corn Flakes, flan. The cupcakes still taste good after 2 days. Texture and taste didn't change at all. Milo Cupcake: Buttercream reminded me of Milo on point. Ube Leche Flan Cupcake: Omg the taste of the Ube was Soo good and still moist. The flan on top made it extra yummy.

The place is small but cozy and they have a giant couch in the middle for lounging. The price is high compare to other places, with the exception of their daily special tea. Their tea is actually cheap. I love love the jasmine calamonsi tea, so refreshing for $3. The halo halo was overwhelmed with ice cream, need more of other ingredients. The monster oreo shake was delicious but it is not worth it for that price. The ube flan cupcake was just ube cupcake and flan stack on top. It kinds of lacking the cohesiveness. Overall, I would come back just for that tea.

I've been coming to Pampanga's Bakery in Artesia for a while now, and it's long overdue that I actually give them their flowers. If you are looking for authentic, comforting Filipino baked goods and kakanin, this is the gold standard. Every time I walk in, the shelves are loaded with staples. Their selection of kakanin is also massive. The **Puto Assorted** and **Puto & Kutsinta** packs ($3.90) are always perfectly soft, vibrant, and fresh, and they have massive trays of **Biko Pandan** and **Cassava Cake** if you're feeding a crowd. For the savory side, the **Chicken Empanadas** and **Fried Lumpia** always hit the spot. And of course, there's the **Turon**. Yes, the price has risen to $1.05 a piece, but honestly? It's just modern economics, and it is still worth every single penny. It is still the absolute best of the best--shattered-crisp, perfectly caramelized on the outside, and packed right. The staff is always fast, the bakery smells like heaven, and the quality has stayed incredibly consistent over the years. Don't be like me and gatekeep it...if you haven't been, stop by!

One thing they have always been consistent about is the quality of their turon--and unfortunately, the long wait times as well. There have been several occasions when we had to pay and come back later because of the high demand for their product. Because we live about 30 miles away, we were advised to place our orders by phone before making the trip, which is exactly what we've been doing. Yesterday, however, we experienced one of the most inefficient customer service experiences we've ever had. We called multiple times to confirm our order, and the staff who answered assured us not to worry because they had plenty available and that our order would be ready when we arrived. When we got there, the exact opposite happened. We were told they had run out of turon and that we would need to wait another hour. While discussing the situation with the cashier, we watched another staff member assist the customer behind us, who purchased 60 pieces. We had preordered only 30 pieces, yet somehow they were able to fulfill that larger order while failing to honor ours. Poor customer service will eventually drive customers away. Yes, the product is excellent, but there will come a time when the product alone is no longer enough to keep customers coming back. Given the popularity of their business, they should be focusing on improving their customer service and honoring preorders to maintain customer loyalty. Good products attract customers, but good service keeps them.
