It's such a cute place. They have lots of seating, including swing seats inside. They have a topping bar available for soft serve only. The menu has kids items available along with soda floats and shakes. There was one person working.

We came here when it was almost closing time (we didn't know the closing time) anyways service is really friendly. Everyone who worked there was really nice. Me and my son got the ninja turtle and minion treat. My son loved it will come again!!

Sweeties will always bring the kid out of me.. it's like walking down memory lane with all the candy from my childhood! Can't wait to return

This is a little messy said the worker as she served me a melted parfait.

I hate to say it, but Sweeties Soda Shoppe has deteriorated in service, product and cleanliness. Once a fun CLE icon, it has now joined the ranks of "could not care less" about the customer in service and messy, melting ice cream, literally. Ordered an $8 parfait and received a melted mess with toppings and chocolate running down the sides of the cup. At first, I was told my order was taking longer than expected to get to the table because the person making it had dropped it on the floor, and they had to make another. I did not see that happen. All I can say is that what I received did not look "made over" rather "added to" with melted ice cream throughout except for one small scoop on the top covered in melting whipped cream and a sliding cherry in a stream of runny chocolate. When I told an employee about it she replied, " Ice cream tends to melt faster on a parfait" Um. What? I questioned that and all she could do was look at my order and say, don't worry about the mess, I'll clean it up". There was no attempt at all to make it right, especially since 5 minutes later a person sitting at the table next to me was served a perfectly beautiful parfait, no runs, drips or melts visible. As far as I could tell she was not emptying the napkin holder like I had to to keep the running mess from flooding the tabletop. Anyway, the experience was truly capped off when I left the Shoppe and noticed how filthy the entrance way was. Floor, & baseboards are crusted with dirt and black fingerprints all around the door handle and up the sides. Although I love CLE and it's quirky eateries and sights, I will no longer recommend ANYONE go there. Especially tourists....we don't need another mistake on the Lake reference.

Stopped here, with a friend, to get some ice cream. It was a little confusing when we walked in because we weren't sure if we should order first or sit at a table and wait for someone to bring menus. I asked the person cleaning tables what we should do. Turns out one orders at the counter, where the cash register is located. Then, after the order is paid for, the customer is given a number to take to their table. Staff members bring the ice cream to the tables. The ice cream is delicious. It's also a good value for the size of the sundaes. The ice cream was fresh and tasted delicious. The toppings were good too. There was a very good balance between the toppings and ice cream. I'm glad we stopped here for sundaes!

Sweeties is a huge candy warehouse, but doesn't stop at candy. They have popcorn, ice cream and flavored sodas( with Putt Putt right next door). I really enjoyed my trip to sweeties, they had all the classics, snickers, nerds lollipops, candy I've never heard of, plus giant pickles and flavored popcorn. My favorite part was the sodas, I walked away with about 10 different flavors, from root beers, lemonade and cherry limeade. If your in the area or is definitely worth it!

This place is really cool. We found completely by accident on our road trip, heading back into Pennsylvania. This place is loaded with candy and has just about every piece of candy. Whatever you think they have they have. Prices are very reasonable and they even have an ice cream shop where they have a soft serve ice cream small for $4.25 and you can load it up with toppings by yourself. Customer service is very friendly and very helpful. We were even given a menu at the ice cream shop because we were a little confused on how the menu worked.

This is an attached soda shoppe to the big candy warehouse with innumerable flavors and a self-serve ice cream area with probably 30 toppings to choose from. They don't sell the serve your own by weight so it is one fixed price which is a win for folks like me who cram every atom possible in the given cups

After visiting the candy side, we opted for ice cream. The shop itself is very cute, with tables that have seats that swing, and also milk cans with tractor seats attached. The ice cream is all made there and there is a large variety from which to choose. They also have many specialty sundaes, milkshakes, etc. I think their prices are too high for what you get. I got a single scoop of peanut butter fudge, and the ice cream is good, but the scoop was smaller than I would have expected. Everyone enjoyed their choices, but agreed it's overpriced. There is also a mini golf course right outside so there would be something else to do while visiting this store.

OMG. They self proclaim they are the largest candy store in the world. Who can disagree?! A little bit of EVERYTHING! And i mean that. Well organized, clean, and clean bathrooms, thanks for that. If you are in or near Parma, make your way here!

Unlike the mini-golf next door that I just reviewed, the Soda Shoppe is totally legit. The deserts are all reasonably priced & the portions are massive! The picture I took really doesn't do it justice. One standard desert is more than enough to split with your special someone. Beyond that, I ate said desert sitting on a SWING! Although it didn't do anything for the taste of the ice cream, it made me happy to swing at the table while I ate it. The Soda Shoppe has A LOT of charm & is totally worth the stop. While you're here you may as well take a stroll through the Candy Shop & play a round of Putt-Putt. The Candy Shop is a sight to behold, although, I wish they had more imported options.

Fun place to browse and spend way too much money for the nostalgia of it all. The whole family had a nice time.

If I lived within walking distance from the West Side Market then I would probably visit the market…read more3 times a week. While I'm only about 10 minutes away, I don't come here often. Recently, after brunch one Saturday in early December 2023, I stopped by the market and visited the JUICE GARDEN with a friend plus a few new friends DRINKS and JUICES -- During my first visit to the Juice Garden on Saturday, 9 December 2023, I bought a big bottle of cold Apple Cider which sits below the main stand/counter where all the lemonades are. It was $8 and very sweet yet refreshing. Then, on Wednesday, 20 December 2023, I quickly drove down to the market for a mid-afternoon break. I then bought a cup of freshly squeezed juice. I bought a 16-oz juice (Carrot, Orange, and Ginger) which cost $6.50 plus 50 cents if you pay with a debit/credit card so my total was $7.00. It tasted fresh for sure but it didn't have alot of ginger flavour in it even after I asked for the drink to be made with a little more ginger. Prices are very fair. I wasn't told about the 50 cents extra charge for not paying with cash and I only found out after getting home and looking at my receipt. That's okay though because I was rushing as I paid and I didn't pay attention to the price. I recommend the Juice Garden if you're in the area. I certainly will be back in 2024 to try other juices. **** - 99/150 total reviews in 2023 - 650 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 21 December 2023

Wrong time on the store here. I went in at 4:45 and told it wasn't closed until 5pm. The lady…read morerefused me juice or a smoothie but was rude and only wanted to give me lemonade which I cannot drink. . Perhaps they don't need the money so they closed when I approached the counter because they don't "feel" like working anymore as they tell me they close at 5pm. Perhaps more places need to actually clean up when they are closed rather than when customers are expecting service because they are actually telling you they close at 5, but you're standing there at 4:45. Does it take 30 minutes to make a smoothie ? If I was the owner, I'd be angry my service was cut off before before my actual closing time. Sales lost closes stores.
