Edita's cakes is the ultimate only place for your cake needs. If you can visualize it she can make…read moreit! Looking at her cake portfolio is like going to a cake art museum. Not knowing exactly what I wanted I made an appointment, Edita was so patient and helpful. I was thinking too big and she helped downsize to what I needed. Instead of getting two cakes which would have been too much she made one beautiful 9" round cake that was actually two different cakes put together to look like one. Amazingly beautiful!!! The taste was smooth-not too sweet and not bland at all-perfect!!!! Everyone enjoyed every bite with no leftovers. No second guessing, go see Edita and you will not be disappointed

First time here. I was in the area and searched bakeriesLOL. There is a very small area with some…read moresliced torts, a 4&6 pack of assorted cupcakes. I bought a variety. The icing on the cakes and cupcakes is almost like a whipped icing. It is very very light but goes so well with the cakes!! I have never had such moist cake. My mother did wedding cakes and I have to say the cake here is pretty amazing! I tried the lemon which was good, not too strong. Oh my the Hawaiian cake was soo good. Three different layers. Was like eating a piña colada! The almond mocha was my fav, no the Hawaiian.... Both! Almond had light flavoring but perfectly done. The chocolate mouse was good and again lightly chocolate flavored. Would I go back, yes I would. This cake is something you must experience. It is not a heavy cake and yet not a sponge cake. Sponge cake is not my favorite cake and this is such a wonderful combination in texture between a regular heavier baked cake and a moist sponge cake? I can not tell you how moist!!! It looked like calling ahead for a number of one particular flavor cupcakes would perhaps be best as the cupcakes were already in boxes of mixed flavors? There were probably 7 cake flavors? Staff was pleasant, only one person working decorating a cake and working the counter. If you are thinking of trying this baker, do it! So delish!

10/10!!!! Come here ASAP!!…read more Customer service was amazing. I suspect they are a home baker who followed their dream and opened their own bakery. I walked in and asked questions about their frostings. They use a mix of whipped topping, fudge, cream cheese, or buttercream depending on what works best for the cupcake. All are filled! I tried 6, and here are my top 3: 1. Banana Pudding - tastes better than actual banana pudding because you don't have giant chunks of mushy bananas 2. Tres Leches - fall apart, gooey, yummy. Uniquely made from funfetti type cakr 3. German Chocolate - it's like they took the essence of what this cake should be and poured all of it into one little scrumptious cake

I normally do not post things like this, but the owner of Sweet Life Bakery on Harper is one of the…read moremost rude and entitled people I have ever encountered. The worst part is she was loud and wrong. I was just shopping at Browns Family Bookstore (highly recommend by the way! They are so sweet and have a little bit of everything!). The owner of the bakery next door stormed into their business and demanded to know who was parked in one of the REGULAR CUSTOMER PARKING SPOTS in front of the strip mall. Because "it's her spot"....not true. The whole entire lot is public, each tenant gets 2 spots in the back. I'm sorry if she doesn't like parking back there, but that's not the other business owners or customers problem. After maybe 2 minutes she storms back into the book store and demands to know if they "figured out who is parked in her spot". They apologized and said they are not going to disrupt their customers since the lot is public. The owner then says she is going to leave her car parked across the entire lot blocking cars in until that person moves and stood in front of the bookstore with her arms crossed. Disgusting, petty, entitled. When I left, I told her how rude that was and she said "well people know I've been parking here for 7 years". Ok. That doesn't mean you own the spot, it's not marked, and you are still wrong, rude, and nasty. I feel horrible for Brown's Family Bookstore they were mortified and so apologetic to all of us in the store. They should not have to deal with this harassment.
