I'm not understanding these reviews. I've been told I HAD to try PEC, so I went this morning and grabbed six cupcakes to try. Big. Mistake. First, let's get into the price. First off, these cupcakes are not worth $3.00 per cake- not even close. Trust me when I say, these are cakes you can easily make at home. Now onto the cakes. I tried three of the cakes, the chocolate raspberry, black and white, and a chocolate with white frosting with coconut. The first thing I noticed is that the frosting was firm, almost as if they were at least a day or two old. Second thing is that it's a sugary frosting, not very appetizing and something you could get out of a can. Third thing is that the cake wasn't moist at all and it was far too dry ‍. I live for & love Pink Elephant. It was my husband's birthday last month, and on the day of his birthday, I wanted to surprise him with his favorite cupcakes (these). I was on 94, called in an order for a dozen, drove straight there (about 10 minutes) and they had everything ready. They were happy to run through all of their current options, and were very helpful in finding the right picks for my hubby, kids and me. All of the cupcakes are phenomenal. Period. The staff was super friendly through the whole process. They also happen to be located about 5 minutes away from my house.... not great for losing weight. But seriously, I highly recommend them.
