TAWDI appeared highly rated, but it was also basically the only choice. Walking in to Mickey Mouse greeting you, it's a very homely, organized, and oddly empty shop with some Middle Eastern influence. They are big on marketing for their Dubai chocolate offerings, which I did try. The lady who helped was very kind, offering us each a sample by the chocolate type we liked. As she explained how they make chocolate in the back daily, I had to inquire about popular selections and what some flavors were. Basically, they seem to focus on Dubai chocolates and have some imported goods from Lebanon. While I trust that they make chocolates daily, I have to question how much, what flavors, and what is being turned over, because the sample I ate and the chocolates I opened up later certainly had obvious chocolate bloom, and yes they were stored at an appropriate temperature and eaten on the same day. At the price these pieces were, they certainly shouldn't have chocolate bloom nor taste like old chocolate. The filling of their Dubai bar was nice, crunchy, and moist, but the exterior chocolate shell didn't really have a taste. I am fine with paying a premium for premium-tasting chocolate and often do it, but I would have preferred eating grocery store chocolate, honestly. I'm not sure what others are tasting or whether people reviewing TAWDI are actually into chocolate, but I was disappointed when I didn't enjoy these.

Couple breakfast sandwiches ( The hammy-ham egg and cheese on English muffin and "the prized" -bacon egg and cheddar cheese on a pretzel croissant) and a breakfast burrito. Cheese can be removed from the sandwiches, but but the burrito since it's premade. Blueberry or chocolate muffins and either regular or chocolate croissants. STAFF & EXPERIENCE: We were greeted kindly upon approaching the counter. Unfortunately they were out of the Hammy breakfast sandwich. Instead opted for the breakfast burrito and the Prized. We had our food within 5-10 minutes. Grateful for the quick service. The Prized sandwich was pretty good. For breakfast sandwich, it sounds good as you can get without it being completely handmade. And if you're looking to go somewhere quick and easy for breakfast before Disney, then you likely won't find a less busy place.

The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

As soon as you walk in, the smell with the amazing aroma of freshly made candies and chocolates is fantastic, and, you feel like walking into an old fashioned candy store that has been around for years! Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen offers many types of delicious treats such as fudge, caramel apples, cookies, plus many other candies covered in chocolate. My personal favorite to get is the chocolate covered marshmallow on a stick. It has been a part of my experience for so long that I now find myself stopping before leaving the park to grab one and take back to the hotel for after or to save for later in the evening. When you bite into the marshmallow, it is soft and fluffy on the inside, and when you bite through the chocolate on the outside, it is a deliciously perfect way to finish your day at the Disneyland Resort! I do enjoy visiting Pooh Corner as well, which is another candy store within the park offering a variety of candies and sweet treats as they make them in the store! Together both of these stores provide many options in case you're looking for something sweet while you are visiting the theme park! Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen is one of those classic Disneyland attractions that I always look forward to each time I go to the park! Watching the candy makers prepare their treats behind the counter or simply purchasing a sweet treat before leaving the park is an enjoyable experience and is a amazing way to spend the day at Disneyland!

Located in San Fransokyo, I miss the days when they used to give out the chocolate as samples, but I'm sure they were losing way too much. This location accepts Magic Key discounts and despite the crowds, the cast members are pretty efficient and serve with a smile on their faces too. They'll call out your name and/or number when it's ready. Yes, you can get sundaes, ice cream, and shakes, but you can also get cookies, brownies, and chocolate dipped strawberries. If you want to grab a gift to go, they also have wrapped chocolates by weight and sometimes other packaged goodies too, Christmas and Halloween themed and seasonally themed too (I've seen pumpkin and peppermint flavor with cute bags and packaging) or you can get a cute bear plushie here too. With how hot California weather is, I do recommend picking it up later in the day when it's not going to melt or taking it back to your hotel so it can be in the A/C. I LOVE that they just rethemed the shop to match San Fransokyo so you do see the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, SF, gold miners, etc., but you also see sakura cherry blossom trees and the chocolate ads in katakana are super cute and endearing. If you wait long enough too, you can see the animatronics go through an earthquake too. My indulgent treat here is the frozen hot chocolate. Super yummy and rich and deep chocolate taste. If I can't find anything else that I want to "drink" at DCA, this is THE drink to get. Perfect for any weather, hot or cold. It's that good.
