Eddie was kind enough to offer a tasting since we had never tasted their popsicles before, and we wanted to figure out what flavors we should get. All of their flavors sounded so darn amazing! We were able to choose 6 to try, and let's just say our tasting was one of the best breakfasts I've had! :oD It was hard to finish every popsicle before tasting the next, but I wasn't about to leave that yumminess behind for the trash to enjoy. So, I took our leftovers (4 popsicles!) and had a popsicle party in the car! After the tasting, we decided that we really didn't need to offer both ice cream and popsicles at our wedding anymore. Paloma's Paletas would satisfy ice cream lovers since some of the flavors are on the creamy side (i.e. Banana Milkshake). When it came time to decide how many flavors + how many of each flavor to purchase for our number of guests, Eddie gave us some solid guidance...that we ended up disregarding since we're gluttons and had to get 3x the number of flavors and 2.5x the number actual popsicles. :op We were fully prepared - and excited - to bring home a sh*t ton of leftovers for us to enjoy over the next few months. We were going for a "fresh ingredient" theme in our catering, so these were perfect for us. On the day of the wedding, it turned out that Eddie was also our cart attendant - yay! Thank goodness they include an umbrella when you opt in for the cart, and thank goodness Eddie is so cool that he can keep smiling through a scorching hot afternoon. So when it came time for husband's birthday recently, I wanted to surprise him and his small office with some cupcakes. I just didn't have the time to bake 3 dozen cupcakes and hand deliver them. That's where Fairy Cakes Bakery came to the rescue. Fairy Cakes Bakery specializes in gourmet cupcake deliveries. Brilliant! I e-mailed Kerena at FTB on a Sunday and she responded immediately. I needed the cupcakes on Tuesday, which was no problem. Kerena was very helpful via e-mail and they delivered the cupcakes when promised with very cute packaging and a hand-written note. I ordered red velvet, black and white, and raspberry vanilla, which were all a huge hit with my husband and his co-workers. My husband brought one of each home and I thought they were pretty good. The cake part was a tad dry, which I find to be such a common problem with most cupcakes, but the icing was delicious. And at $2.50 a cupcake, I thought they were a deal. Two downsides: There is a $15 delivery charge BUT they do hand deliver them anywhere in Orange County and the Inland Empire. It's the cost of convenience, I say. Also, when you order a dozen cupcakes, they must be of the same flavor. That wasn't a big deal for me, but it might be for others who might want more variety. I think Fairy Cakes Bakery is a great way to go if you want to surprise someone with a treat and/or not deal with going to Sprinkles or Susie Cakes (and spending at least 50-75 cents more per cupcake). Cupcakes: my idea of an edible arrangement.

There was confusion on the order form and they sent a note (which went to my junk mail) There was no follow up call just a canceled order. Luckily i followed up and now they say that because i did not get back to them (this is all within 48 hours) they would not honor their word and i could not have cupcakes for my daughters 1st bday party. I am so glad that i followed up or there would be no cupcakes on her birthday. This was all around bad customer service. I am very disappointed in how my order was handled.
