I'm so happy to have finally been able to make it to Milk & Cookies! I've been craving an ice cream sandwich, and this place really satiated that craving. They have warm cookies ready to go - sold by single, six pack, dozen, and jumbo. They also serve a cookie & scoop of ice cream, ice cream sandwich, and two cookies & milk deals for a reasonable price. As soon as I entered the shop, I was immediately greeted with the warm, buttery, sweet aroma that makes a cookie shop feel just right. Staff was very quick to help and take my order despite the line getting longer. I went with a six pack: Lemon Blueberry, Cowboy (chocolate chip, walnuts, oatmeal raisin), Royal Hawaiian (chocolate chip, coconut flakes, macadamia nuts), M&M, Oatmeal Raisin, and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies. I also ordered a scoop of their vanilla ice cream, which was creamy and perfectly balanced in both texture and flavor. I really enjoyed all of the cookies, but if I had to choose my top two, it'll be the Cowboy and Royal Hawaiian. I've been to the San Diego location many times, and it's by far the best one I've visited -- especially the Fullerton location. This time, though, they ran out of chocolate chip and a few other cookies, and I had to wait for the oatmeal raisin. When I ordered a dozen, they just handed me the box, while I watched other customers get their boxes placed in a bag. I'll definitely go back, but I was a little disappointed for the first time at this location. Overall, San Diego is still the best location by far. read more

Honestly the place kind of has a bad smell, so I wouldn't want to stay in the building for too long. But they do have a nice patio in the back, so I took my Peanut Butter Cup Cookie and milk there. The wrapper says "ooey, gooey and chewy" and it's not lying! My cookie was absolutely delicious, with melty peanut butter cups and a crispy outside. Washed down with the milk it was such an enjoyable experience. I would definitely go back to get those cookies again! read more

Milk & Cookies has some of the best cookies I've ever had! My favorite has to be their Cookies & Cream cookie, and a close second is their Buttercake cookie. Both were so gooey and delicious, with the Cookies & Cream one having a perfect crunch. I had their peach lavender ice cream, which was super creamy and it had a subtle sweet peach flavor that complimented the floral lavender flavor. It had peach bits in it too, which were equally good. The service was good and you're allowed to get samples of the ice cream they have! The shop itself is super small, but they do have a very artsy wall that you can use for picture backgrounds. Okay, I have been in the area much more often now with a bunch of events that occur in the downtown Fullerton area. Every time I am in the area I seem to migrate over to Milk & Cookies for a special treat. Aside from their amazing cookies which I adore like Triple Chocolate and White Chocolate Mac Nut, I would like to comment on the staff there. I expect a "retail vibe" like go in, pick, pay and leave being implied like some other cookie / bakery shops in the area. Milk & Cookies is different, the customer service there is absolutely five star quality and deserves kudos. I am not a person that can be easy to impress with service but the younger guy in there actually seems genuine and does a great job making recommendations, quickly packaging your picks and checking you out. 100% will be back. The cookies that we got were warm, some were soft while others were a bit hard (not in a bad way) - so I guess it depends on which one you get, but either way, the taste makes up for what you prefer. There is a restroom on the left side of where you enter and a back door to leave to the parking lot.
