The Olive Ann Hotel is the best! Two cups of coffee from Sweetwaters, brown water. Disappointing at best.

Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience visiting the Board Room for the first time, and most of the issues lay in the fact that it was severely understaffed, with only one employee working every single station in the place - registers, drive-thru, drinks, and making food. This poor girl could not handle a small rush of 8-10 customers. We waited at least 30+ min for our coffee and probably another 15 min for two breakfast sandwiches. Their menu is impossible to find online and they don't have any social media updates indicating seasonal options. Even once you get inside, the menu is on three screens on the back wall, and difficult to read due to tons of options and small print. My biggest issue, however, was the fact that there were absolutely zero descriptions of any of the drinks! Many of the specialty drinks had fun names, but no clue what was in each one. I certainly did not want to stand at the register asking the only employee to explain each one. Went with the cold brew flight, which was also disappointing. You choose 4 different syrups and have them topped off with like 2oz of cold brew and whip cream. I guess if you hate coffee and want something super sweet this might work, but I couldn't taste the cold brew at all (also an indication it wasn't very strong). My husband got a s'mores mocha, which was delicious, but took 35 min to receive. Breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels were tasty, especially liked the chipotle mayo they give you as a sauce on the side. If I'm going to wait 45 min for food though I would go out to brunch at a nice sit down place instead. Don't stop here if you're in a rush to get anywhere. Ample parking in the lot outside, drive thru available too.

Second, it has iced tea drinks that I enjoy, especially with carbonation. I had only visited the 'bou in Minnesota and Iowa. It was time to expand my horizons on my recent road trip by finding a cafe in North Dakota. I made a quick stop at this Caribou Coffee in Grand Forks. It had a drive-thru. I said yes to paying it a visit. This cafe is located in a plaza with a few businesses. I had no problem finding it and the drive-thru. I got a friendly woman on the other side of the speaker. I gave her my cell phone number associated with my Caribou perks. Easy peasy! I ordered the following items: - Medium sparkling green tea lemonade with a shot of raspberry - Chocolate cake pop The cake pop was $1 off. I went for it. I had never had a cake pop from Caribou Coffee before and I felt like a treat as I drove down to Saint Paul. My drink and cake pop took little time to prepare. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and tipped. I thanked the woman and continued my road trip. My chocolate cake pop was yummy. The cake part of it was perfect. It had the right amount of moisture and chocolate flavour. The exterior was too sweet for me, though. It was yummy. I'm just not used to consuming my weekly sugar intake with a single cake pop. My drink hit the spot. There's something about raspberry with green tea lemonade that makes it special. The fizziness was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed this drink that got me to the Twin Cities. The downside is that this cafe isn't close to I-29. You do shave off some time because it takes perhaps four minutes to get to this cafe from the interstate. I liked my first Caribou Coffee visit in Grand Forks. I'd revisit this cafe when I'm not driving like a madwoman to get to a concert. (82)

I know you don't serve it very often because the lady taking my order confused my words: "Brewed coffee" and thought (twice) that I was trying to order a birthday cake pop. That was pretty bizarre.
