I tried Sweety's for lunch one day and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a 1/2 Sandwich 1/2 Salad. The sandwich was BLT. I also ordered a scoop of broccoli salad. The BLT was delicious. The bacon was cooked well, thick enough, and plentiful enough (they didn't skimp). The tomato and lettuce were fresh. And because I love it, I asked for a slice of yellow american cheese to be added to it. The broccoli salad was also delicious. Not too heavy with mayo and bacon (like some make) so it still felt light while being delicious. The brownie bite was great. Wish it was bigger than a bite, but hey, it was thrown into the half/half combo as a part of it and was a nice lunch ender. read more

My mom, her best friend and I had "High Tea" there yesterday and it was a lovely experience! The food was amazing and they had a huge selection of unique and traditional teas to choose from. The tea room is beautifully decorated and it was such a fun place to come! The service was great and the owner was a joy to talk to! There are so few Tea Rooms left so this is a hidden gem in the heart of Canton, GA in the historic Shops at The Mill! We will be back! read more

Loved this little counter cafe! We went on a Saturday so the Mill was crowded, but we had no wait to order and loved that there were dessert options. We were greeted by two friendly faces and walked through the best sellers and their recommendations. Ultimately we got a sandwich of the Sweety's original and a pickle sandwich of the Georgia chicken salad. Both were incredible. Big kudos to Josiah for his patience with us and allowing us to try samples of the salads to ensure we would love what we got. We will definitely be back to check out the tea room as it was so cute!! read more

A couple weeks ago I was so excited to see they were having a special event Princess Tea. My daughter just turned 3 and I am a huge afternoon tea fan. I have not tried this location yet and I bought this would be the perfect event to give this location a try and the first afternoon tea with my daughter. We have been looking forward to it and my daughter kept asking when she was going to meet Aurora (the princess they were featuring) and even picked out a beautiful dress for the occasion. Well, as life happens, my daughter had to be taken to the ER in the middle of the night the night before the event. I let them know via email as we were waiting for her to be admitted and planned to call when it wasn't 4AM. I received a reply, and Cheryl, while offering her sympathies, did not offer any kind of help or customer service for the situation. But did say she hoped I would come another time I understand policies, especially when something on non-refundable- however, there are options that don't require the business to lose any money and still work with the customer. $70 is a lot of money to just say "no refunds" without any kind of work around and then think I would want to come back and spend more money when you already took my $70. I asked if a store credit could be used towards another princess tea- No. Asked if I could use it as a credit towards a regular mommy and me tea (which is less btw)- No. So I asked if I could at least pick up my order and bring it home to my child and somewhat save our very first mommy and me valentines date. That, at least, Cheryl could work with. My husband went to pick it up and asked for the kid tea option (non caffeinated) which is a pink lemonade (perfect!) which the nice woman at the counter gave him, plus the extra tea that had already been made. Cheryl was not as nice when she came out to talk to him. Knowing that we had just spent a long sleepless night in the ER I would expect a little kindness. Cheryl, I have worked in the restaurant and customer service industry my whole life and while I appreciate you have a business to run, being gracious, kind, and caring costs you nothing and keeps customers coming back. My daughter would have loved this experience but with the lack of effort to provide any alternatives at all has not made me want to come back and give another chance to Sweety's. As for the food, picture below is what we got for the $70... The lemon bars are tasty, everything else was not much to write about. I am sad to have had this experience here and to not feel valued as a customer. I guess I will just have to try a different tea room. read more

I had the pleasure of a magical afternoon sharing in a Sweety's Tea experience. Making online reservations was the easiest process and secured our exact time and date. Upon our arrival, the owner, Cheryl welcomed us so warmly and brought us to our beautifully set table. As we began to read the tea menu, we shared in conversation over the history of the china set on our table (found in our tea booklet). It was really neat to read about the history of the china on our table and the collaboration between Tea Leaves & Thyme and Sweety's Cafe. The next welcoming voice was our incredible waitress, Lynn. What a delight Cheryl & Lynn both were and it is apparent that their hearts are in this tea room! Our first tea choice, with help from Lynn's descriptions of the teas, we decided on the Cheeky Peach. It was absolutely delicious with many complimenting flavors. Lynn then brought us our first course, a wonderful salad. It was very flavorful with sweet pecans, purple onions, lettuce, tomatoes, a sprinkling of cheese, and topped with French dressing. Lynn then brought out Sweety's homemade Scones with Lemon Curd & Sweety's Cream. Lynn explained that the Sweety's Cream is similar to Devonshire Cream and that we might want to save some for our fruit coming on our tired tea tray. I'm so happy we saved some of that delicious cream. I could have eaten the whole bowl. The scones were equally as delicious with their poppy seeds and topped with sweet lemon glaze. We decided on the Sweet Georgia Chicken Salad for our croissant sandwiches. We loved this chicken salad choice! Next, the star of the show was the tiered tray with all the goodies. Each treat was more delicious than the previous. The pimento cheese sandwich on a cinnamon raisin bread was a combination I was unsure of until I ate it. I was in love with the unique combination of flavors. We tried some of our Sweety's Cream on our fruit like Lynn said to do and it was amazing. All the sweet eats complimented our second pot of tea, Raspberry Ginger. The Raspberry Ginger tea was a burst of flavors, so unique. We are so happy that Sweety's Cafe & Ice Cream opened this exceptional tea room at the heart of the City of Canton in The Mill on Etowah. This was such a wonderful experience. We are planning a Bridal tea soon and are excited for Sweety's to host us. read more

Everyone is nice and the food is good but the prices for lunch have gotten too high to go regularly. Almost $13 just for a sandwich compared to a lunch meal at several other places in the area. read more

My girlfriend and I enjoyed an afternoon out with High Tea at Sweety's a couple of days ago and it was simply scrumptious! Cheryl was a wonderful hostess and we loved the mix and match effect of both our table and the room itself. High tea included cucumber sandwiches and the most delicious pimento spread I have ever had...served on raisin bread, the sweet and salty was just the right combination...I even took a scoop of the pimento spread home to enjoy later. The lemon scones and cream to top them with was delicious and had just a hint of sweetness. To accompany our tea, we enjoyed a pot of both Crème Brulee and Christmas Tea. To finish off the high tea, we had some rum muffins and cheesecake bites. It was plenty of food for the two of us and we enjoyed it immensely. We will definitely be back to enjoy High Tea with Cheryl at Sweety's again soon! read more

Every person should call city council members to complain about the Kilwins about to be built in the same shopping center as this local gem. sweety's is amazing home made ice cream and kilwins is just a chain that try's to snuff out local shops. This has happened in Woodstock to the gelato place that had to move down the street to survive, support local businesses not chains. read more

We went for dessert on Sat 12/27 and we attempted to order several things and of the eventual six or so items, they only had 2. No cake of the day, out of most ice cream flavors including vanilla, no blueberry buckle, no crunch bar... the only thing we ended up with was Milky Way ice cream (very tasty) and a seemly old Bourbon Brownie (it was pretty dried out...) very disappointing:( read more

This review is specifically for the high tea. I was really excited when I heard they were partnering with Tea Leaves and Thyme. I loved that place! This is not a match. Positives: Ambiance was adorable. The selection of tea was decent and it was well made. The poppy seed scone with cream and lemon curd was a highlight of the meal! Reasonably priced for high tea. The prices are very comparable to other smaller tea houses in Georgia. Negatives: They make clear on the website there is only one tea pot for every two guests, with one refill. I appreciate this clarity, as this is abnormal for a teahouse (you usually get one tea pot per a person with as much tea as you like). We had an odd party (5) and they downsized the number of teapots, allowing us only 2 teapots. I would recommend they consider rounding up for odd parties and only allowing one refill. They will not let you know if they have made changes to the menu you signed up for. The majority of food was mediocre. Example: pimento cheese was on cinnamon raisin bread. The food portions were smaller than most teas (I'm comparing to other small tea shops in Georgia - such as Jessas in Woodstock, or Southern Seasons Tea in Rome). Example: They gave us one small brownie cut up into 5 pieces as a desert option. This is also the only tea I've ever been to where everyone only received one scone. read more

The best homemade ice cream in Canton and Woodstock! There are dairy-free options, made with oat milk and they taste as amazing as full dairy ice cream. Personal is very helpful and accommodating. The place is nice and clean. I did not try the salads and sandwiches they offer, but planning to in the near future. I am driving 20 minutes to get their amazing ice cream though. Cute little deli/ice cream shop. Thanks to our county FB group, I heard about this place. I came for the "Big Dill" pickle sandwich. And while I wasn't one the lucky ones to get it on extra large sized pickles, I still loved it! It was a great price and very tasty. Only suggestion would be to allow the dill "bread" to be used on other sandwiches. Regardless, this low carb girl will definitely be back to try more and next time she won't scarf it all down before taking photos. read more

We just had a working lunch catered on Friday and the food was EXCELLENT. We even ordered hot sandwiches and they not only delivered on time but had to search for our room at the Jones Building because we'd moved to another room and I forgot to tell them. I worked with Cheryl and she was wonderful. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for something to eat or catering in the Canton area! read more
