This was my first time here. I wanted a place that I've never been to before. We pulled up and parked. The server brought us out paper menus and told us to turn our headlights on when we were ready to order. We ordered a shake, well tried to order a shake and their shake machine was down....That was a little bit disappointing. We received our food, the server forgot straws and condiments. We had to flash our lights to get his attention. One of our drinks was mostly carbon water, we had to flash again to get that replaced. They weren't very busy, but this was not the best first impression. The food was kind of bland, nothing to really brag about. I will give them another try. Maybe it was just an off night. The server was very polite and apologetic. I decided to order a second time before I posted this review, to give it a fair chance. Today is 2/10/25 and I am even more disappointed than the first time. My cheeseburger was raw. My burger was not even thick, it was like a smash burger. I was so disgusted when I bit into it and tasted the texture of raw meat. The shake was okay, I got a hot fudge shake. I taste mainly vanilla and not much hot fudge. I ordered a brownie, they didn't put it in my bag. The fries were crispy like I asked, but had way too much salt on them.

Quick quick service for a fun drive-in experience. Got admit, never eaten here before, so I have no idea, but the burgers look good. Figured I'd try the fries too since it's lunchtime... Waiting in the car for the order now. Good stuff!! Tastes fries and sloppy burger. Perfect!!

The concept of Swenson's drive in is not only nostalgic but also practical! Pull in to a space (much like Sonic drive in), turn on your headlights, and a server will be right out! The paper menu boasts much more than the posted menu. The Galley Boy burger combines tarter sauce and barbecue sauce in a delicious signature taste. Another top suggestion from what I have tasted so far: fried zucchini! The fish meal disappointed me tasting more like fish sticks than British fish & chips. Milkshakes and specialty flavored ginger ale drinks add pizzazz to the menu. Note: **The parking lot is new construction and at both entrances, cars can drag on the drop of and rise from the road to the parking lot. Take entrance and exit very slow.**

False advertising. This is less than half the advertised portion. Overcooked and tasteless

I'm originally from Akron (home of the original Swensons) so I'm definitely biased. However, they NEVER disappoint after all these years. And actually, since this location has opened I've actually dated to venture away from my regular favorites and try new menu items. This staff is still learning the Swensons way of hustling when cars arrive, but they definitely have the customer service, charm, and enthusiasm that I'm used to. Our server offered options, provided suggestions, and made sure he got our order perfect. The food melts in your mouth and is full of that Swensons flare that I always look forward to. One of my favorite items is the potato tweezers. They have taken on a new shape. As the menu states "refreshingly different". I will admit I'm not a big fan. I prefer the old shape and I miss the amount of cheese that you use to get/taste. This new shape definitely teases as I feel like it's skimping on the cheese and jalapeño flavor. Lastly...the milkshake. Will always be my drink of choice, and I can't seem to leave that Strawberry alone . No worries though, I'm a lifer...they're not getting rid of me.

Waited 7 minutes, lights on, and facing the building. Would have been happy if someone just walked out and took our order let alone "sprint" per the sign. Note we were parked right by the door they come out to take orders, and deliver food. This was around 3pm on a Monday. Not exactly prime time busy. Anyway not sure what the hype is, or maybe 7 minutes or more is normal. Note it also states on the sign allow 15 minutes for order to be prepared. Sad as we were interested in checking it all out. Maybe if we have 45 minutes for sorta fast food we'll give it 1 more try. Is the food good? Couldn't tell ya.

Homie this is what you guys consider $60 worth of food? Ordered from DoorDash yes but still what in the world.... Can I get a side of aluminum with my 6 dollar bbq slider? Can I please get some paper with my French fry? This is a joke. Never ever again.

The wait is well worth it. My biggest tip is to arrive close to opening if you can. They're incredibly popular, and because their bread takes three days to make, they can sell out if there's an unexpected rush. One helpful note for first-time visitors is to walk all the way inside to place your order at the register in the back. We ordered the L'Alveo and the La Rossa, and both were outstanding. They happened to be serving them on gluten-free bread that day, due to the mad rush and honestly, I never would have known it was fantastic. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The L'Alveo was rich, creamy, and wonderfully indulgent, while the La Rossa was bright and refreshing. The eggplant in the La Rossa was the star. Every bite was excellent. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. The owner was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate. We'll definitely be back. If you're thinking about trying this place, don't wait! Get there early before they sell out for the day!

I had heard that their pop-up dinners sell out very quickly so I was ready the day they were posted and grabbed a few spots for one of their February dates. We arrived and were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and then we found a seat at the long community table set for 20; it was so much fun getting to know the people seated next to us! Dinner was delicious! Four courses-the gnocchi with sausage was our favorite dish of the night.

If you follow them on socials, you can score a seat at the pop-ups. The place is an old house with a lot of character. The food for carryout is fantastic and their bread is fantastic. We live in West Chester and have driven down to there a few times just to pick up delicious dinners. We just attended our first dinner there last Tuesday. Oh My Goodness! What a treat. Jordan greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and directed us where to sit a long table that seats 20. We introduced ourselves to our seatmates and then our first dish arrived. Chef does explain the food before we had each dish, however we wished there was more background and history as to how this place came into being. So expect fantastic food without a lot of details. The first dish was a salad made with all local ingredients. It was so fresh and the dressing made with fresh dill was fantastic. The second dish was a ravioli with northern Italian cheese on a bed of butternut squash puree and brown butter. The pasta was SO delicate and the flavors complimented each other so well. The third dish was a 6 hour braised pork shoulder with ricotta gnocchi in a sauce with Calabrian chilis and I don't know what else. We have been to Italy and all the Italian restaurants in Cincinnati and never had anything like this. It was truly phenomenal. Dessert was a apple upside down cake served warm with whipped cream...fantastic. You bring your own wine, and Jordan is on it by never letting your glass get empty, pouring water, and clearing dishes. Service was so great and she is so friendly and accommodating. The cost was a very reasonable $100/pp and SO worth it. There is no menu, so you go in just devouring what Chef has prepared.
