While visiting Cincy, my friend took me here! A cute little coffee/breakfast nook!! Walking in, it was PACKED - a good sign we probably made a good choice!!! But no worries, the service was still fast and we waited no longer than 10 mins for our food/drinks We both ordered the breakfast burrito, I didn't order coffee :( but my friend downed her Carmel iced latte and couldn't say a bad thing about it!! The burrito was stuffed, bacon, egg, has brown, etc.... And that sauce was to die for! If I lived here this would be my go too, so many friendly faces and people coming to study!! Today I chose a piping hot cup of black coffee, added two pumps of this delicious syrup, some half-and-half, topped it all with whipped cream. Yum!!!! My daughter and her boyfriend got the toasted marshmallow lattes and were very happy as well. I didn't get pictures because we were running in and out to begin our day of Christmas shopping. What a charming coffee shop. There is so much to take in here, I couldn't stop looking around. I'm not a coffee drinker but loved the smell of the different kinds they have. They had a steady stream of customers but it didn't look crowded. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I didn't feel rushed to hurry and place an order. Be sure to check out the specials, they looked really great although I didn't personally have any. I enjoyed my Chai Tea Latte & Avocado Toast. Both were exactly what I needed on a chilly, rainy, spring morning. I loved seeing all the different groups of people scattered around the shop. There were groups of students studying, young adults working, parents feeding small children, and seniors enjoying each others' company. If you're looking to socialize, there are groups of chairs and couches perfectly setup for a small group. If you need to work, there are desks, with ample power, to crush your deadlines. Madison Place is a great little spot in Madisonville. I've loved coming here since they opened! They often have unique latte flavors on special - like the sufganiyot latte for Hanukkah - and I love that they have Jewish owned raw chocolates and themed greeting cards for Biblical holidays (I'm not Jewish but lived in Jerusalem so I love this). The Madison Place is the most unique coffee shop that I know of with 3 distinctly themed seating areas inside, a meeting room space, and outdoor seating for when the weather permits. This is going to be my new favorite chilling and reading coffee shop! I was immediately greeted by the nicest person manning the counter and guided through the menu as it was my first time. I ended up getting the Crosby club and the dulce de leche latte which were both special for summer. The person at the cash register was so genuine and sweet, making conversation and instantly making your day better. My first time here was actually for an Ilan's Chocolate making and wine tasting workshop. Which was super fun! So I didn't actually get to taste any of The Madison Place's food...but just being in their space was enough for me to want to come back again! This place is great! It's such a unique layout and has a wonderfully sophisticated yet warm feel to it. I wish I had gotten pictures of every area of their space, but you'll have to imagine with me as I attempt to paint a picture of it. I came back to have breakfast and the place was bustling. It was one of those perfect Saturday fall mornings where everyone is out on the streets with their bikes or jogging and people were occupying their patio. The sun was out, the temperature was warm, but not too warm with a slight breeze. I walk in and there's a line leading up to the counter. Lots of people sitting down working on their computers, meeting with friends... laughter, warmth...It was such a comforting and cozy feeling walking into the place. Not crowded...comfortable. If you turn to your left, you enter into an area that feels like a library. There's a grand piano, tufted couches and a fireplace. And then the room jets out into kind of like an "A" shape where people can sit at a countertop that faces windows that allow lots of light into the room and patio furniture accompanies that area as well. You turn right from the counter and that's the more open area where they have tables and chairs and a long bench along the wall that provides seating for several, divided out by 2 top tables spread out. There's also a little bar area that wraps around the main counter. The staff is super friendly and I ordered their "Ginger Turmeric Cappucino" and "The Bailey" sandwich which they were able to provide Gluten and dairy free! It was a super delicious! And the Cappucino was strong but tasty! OH! and a fun surprise was...I got a chocolate with my Cappucino!!! LOVED THAT!!! I mean, come on! A chocolate treat surprise with my breakfast! Heck yes! (applause). I AM SOOOOO going back to try ALL the things....Especially their seasonal yummies!!! Can't miss out on that! read more

On a recommendation, I ordered the Coconut Oat Milk Iced Coffee and "Sinatra" specialty sammy. The coffee was something I'm going to order again... I'm normally a whole mile guy but this was mellow, great coconut overtones, not overly sweet or bitter... just right. My sandwich was a form of ham and cheese, banana pepper, arugula and aioli sauce. This was a great combo that reminded me a bit of a great pressed Cuban with a modern twist. Great food and the total was about $10. This coffee shop was a nice surprise! I have passed by this location a number of times and always thought it looked like a nice restaurant I might want to try one day. But its windows always sort of looked dark and like maybe it was closed. Well, it's not closed and it's not a restaurant-- it's a coffee shop! They do have some light menu items but it's a really great place to stop for a coffee and a pastry. They have a full coffee menu, lots of pastries (with croissants baked by a French guy and other items locally baked by an place in Newtown). Yummm - the pistachio chocolate croissant! There is some parking (we nabbed one of the spots in the lot on the side of the building) but otherwise street parking. It's much larger inside than you would think, with lots of tables and chairs, including a few comfy upholstered chairs. There were a lot of people there hanging out, working quietly or otherwise enjoying a break (obviously, I'm the last to find this place). Will definitely be back! read more

This was one of my favorite coffee shops. Everything I have tried has been amazing. The matcha and chai lattes are yummy. I love that they have lavender syrup because not a ton of shops do. My favorite sandwich is the BLT. Another sandwich that is yummy is the Sinatra and I am not a big ham sandwich person but the banana peppers on it make it! I love this coffee shop but some of the workers can be rude. The last time I went I ordered a london fog, one of my favorite tea drinks. I asked and made sure that they added vanilla syrup since the previous place I had visited didn't add it even though that's what makes a london fog and the worker said "Yeah that's clearly how a london fog is made if not then it would be a cafe misto, you must've went to a bad shop." Well I just wanted to make sure since I had never ordered it before from this shop. The worker just gave me bad vibes, but normally they are great. read more

WARM AND COZY! We put off going here for far too long and FINALLY went for lunch today. I ordered the Sinatra sandwich and my husband ordered the burger(special). We both got the wild berry lemonade. It came out very quick and all of it was absolutely delicious! Burger was a bit messy. We sat on the *dog friendly* patio and enjoyed the cute ambiance! They have it set up so it's as closed in as it can be with the road close by. The inside is much bigger than I thought it would be with TONS of seating. They have plenty of normal dining tables (sigh of relief) and some lounge seating and bar seating. It was pretty quiet inside with a lot of people working away! I can't wait to come back! They use Deeper Roots roasted coffee and I forget who they said was making the croissants but whoever it is, knows how to make a croissant! The service was very nice and the person behind the bar was extremely knowledgeable about coffee but did not come off as "snooty" in any way. Very nice folks here! The place is pretty big and can handle a relatively large amount of people. I am here on a Sunday afternoon and there were a couple of rushes that were handled easily by the well prepared staff.
