Unfortunately Potbelly was a hot mess this afternoon. I ordered online for convenience and to be sure my food would be ready at the pickup time I selected. However, my food was still over 30 minutes late, and every single item in the order was incorrect. I ordered a salad with ONLY chicken, bacon and cheddar - and it came out with blue cheese. I ordered a sandwich with ONLY chicken and cheddar - and it came out with grilled onions, Swiss and mayo. And I ordered a steak sandwich - and it came out with chicken instead of steak. Ordered Potbelly for delivery while craving a good sub sandwich. I ordered the Clubby, and was essily able to modify it to my liking through the app, where I could add or remove many items. Even though it was delivered, the sandwich still arrived feeling warm and fresh out of the oven. All components seemed fresh, especially the tomatoes and lettuce which can sometimes be a weakness of sandwich shops. The regular size was the perfect amount to leave me satisfied but not stuffed. We ordered a meatball sandwich and blta sandwich with a discount delivery thru Uber eats. We tipped in advance 15% (which I hate that restaurants have you do that before you even get your meal but afraid not to tip in advance or who knows what your food will be like or when you get it). We received our order from Uber eats on time. We received a chicken sandwich instead of the meatball hoagie. So we called potbelly and they said that they would contact Uber eats to refund us (even though it wasn't Uber eats fault). He said once we got the refund from Uber eats we could call and reorder our meal. But wouldn't resend our correct order. Said we could pick it up but my husband who is an amputee explained that is why we ordered our food for delivery because he was down and couldn't go pick it up. That still didn't mean anything to the person at potbelly. So we lost our $5 tip, our discount from Uber and $20 for our order. I tried to contact potbelly and explained what happened but never heard back. We never got our money refunded. I received 1 slice of bacon on my blta (no lie). The sandwiches we did receive if they were correct were disgusting looking. Made super sloppy also. We ordered from LaRosa's and my blt was amazing! 0 stars for potbelly! Ordered a pick up pizza sandwich as well as turkey sandwich, soup and oatmeal chocolate chip cookie Pizza sub: super dry with incredibly dry meatballs on the sandwich, I'm not even sure how its possible to desiccate a meatball so much. If I had to use the subway meatball sub as a benchmark this was significantly worse. Additionally I had asked to add hot peppers which were not added Turkey sandwich: seemed perfectly fine, did ask to add cucumber which were not added. Soup (broccoli cheddar) was perfectly in order and the server did include oyster crackers which I appreciated. Oatmeal choc. chip cookie was fine however in an effort to fit two subs, soup and a cookie in one small standard sized brown paper bag the cookie did basically get crushed, though I am told by my wife that it was still good going down --- TLDR for what its worth seemed like an overpriced subway read more

I went back and forth about whether to give this location three or four stars. After all it is a chain, and what distinguishes one location from another? The food is the same, service should be also, and convenience is the main reason you choose one over another. But I like sandwiches a lot, and this place does pretty good ones. I think no matter how many times I go to potbelly, I'll never really... get it. It's almost Panera but not really, and half as organized. The staff are always doing their best and very polite, but it just seems like the setup of the business works against them. Taking your order with one person and then having to repeat it to every person on the food line is so silly, and then orders get missed and people who have paid are left waiting while folks in line get served before them. The food is just okay. Cookies and Mac n cheese are super tasty, and add ins to the Mac is a cool concept. Salads have lots of toppings and good dressing, But the sandwiches leave something to be desired. I don't know if I'm just not the person for potbelly, but I just can't get into it. read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I'm a regular at potbelly sandwhich shops and I will not be returning to this one. I stopped in on 1/20/2021 around 8:30. The workers had headphones in and did not listen to my order. I asked for avacado and they did not put it on and rudely asked me to leave. I was immensely embarrassed and uncomfortable. A subpar experience. Management needs to take notice of customer complaints inside the store. They could be understaffed, but at most they are poorly staffed. I've never seen a group of people care less about making money. They seem very disinterested in being polite or making a speedy sandwich. I've never seen a line of 15 plus people waiting for a sandwich before. Also, take note when your customers are complaining about the temperature in your establishment. I watched three people walk in and leave because it is too cold. Even the ceiling fans were running to make it worse. One customer mentioned the temperature and she ignored his statement. I went and picked up sandwiches last week from Potbelly. This was my first time here and first trip to any Potbelly. I got the turkey club and my wife got the tuna fish. We also got the Mac and cheese as our sides. The sandwiches were good. Nothing special for me. I have had better turkey clubs. The Mac and cheese was the star of the meal. I have tried the turkey breast and roast beef sandwich. Which both are great. You can choose your breads (regular, multigrain, or wheat bread). You can get either pick regular or big size and or course choose your toppings. Pricing is reasonable and everytime I've gotten my sandwich, it was made quick and fresh. Potbelly does lunch right! Stopped in for a lunch with friends and it was quite enjoyable. The food is good. Hot subs, salads, soups, and desserts! You can't go wrong with their chicken pot pie soup on a chilly day. The shop was well kept and clean, though our table was slanted. This was my first experience with Potbelly sandwiches. With that kind of name I was expecting a huge sandwich, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sandwiches were a normal size. They were also delicious. I got the italian. It had a lot of flavor and was just the right size for me. The chip bags are a little small, but in the end it was just the right amount of food. The price was pretty good too. Not as expensive as Penn Station, but not as cheap as Subway. I think that pretty much is the order I'd put them in as well. I have eaten at this place since I moved here years ago and keep coming back, so that must tell you something about the place. My favorite sandwich is the wreck. The way that the cheese and meat and everything just melts together is fantastic, and you have to try one of their shakes, they are think and are great after your warm sandwich. On some afternoons they have live music which can be nice or annoying depending on your mood. All in all its a great place to grab a bite now and then, and its less than $10 per person. read more

I am a fan of Potbelly Sandwich shop! I don't make it there as often I would like! The restaurant is very warm and inviting. The tables are set against a neat backdrop of festive decorations and a small stage for a musician! On this day there was a guitarist singing older and recent songs. The acoustics in the dining area was very good and the songs actually were neat to hum. I like the menu at Potbelly. On my Italian sandwich I can get it with several breads and sizes - skinny, regular and large. The sandwich is toasted so the cheese melts. I can top my sandwich with many fresh items - lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, etc and add items like oil, mayonnaise and mustard. Caution - do add the hot peppers unless you tried it before. They are seriously hot. Get them on the side! What I think stands out with Potbelly for me is the price and extras. The price is reasonable and you can mix and match with chips, drink, etc. The extras are little things like hot peppers (on the side), whole dill pickle, big selection of bottled drinks, milkshakes, and cookies. I feel that every time I visit Potbelly, the menu is wide and expansive enough for me to try something new or order the usual! I had a chicken salad sandwich--the bread was fine, but the chicken was flavorless and so dry that even after adding two packs of mayo it still sucked every drop of moisture out of my mouth. The tiny slice of tomato and few shreds of lettuce did nothing to help. The skimpy filling didn't really make for a great value, either. They get a few points for having Zapp's potato chips, and the large sugar cookie was delicious. With other much better, similar options in the area like Jimmy John's, I won't be back. read more

I used to go to Potbelly all the time but then I got burnt out. I'm glad I decided to come back. They now offer a deal called the Skinny Pair where you can get a skinny sandwich with a salad or a cup of soup. This was an awesome deal and I really enjoyed their tomato soup. The young woman who was on condiment duty berated me for not rattling off my toppings like an auctioneer on speed. She actually yelled at me after I asked for lettuce because I hadn't listed every single condiment at once. I asked her why she was so hostile to me for no reason, and she actually THREW my sandwich across the store! Unprovoked! If you'd like to avoid getting harangued while ordering the toppings on your sandwich, look elsewhere, because it didn't appear that manager was going to take any disciplinary action to condemn what, to me, was behavior completely beyond the pale. How do you review a Potbelly? Do you just compare it to other Potbellys? Because this one is just like the all the others, with the friendly staffers who use a two-step process to inquire about your toppings (mayo/mustard/hot peppers, and everything else), and the antique decor, and that Wreck sandwich that I can't avoid ordering, and the occasional female singer with guitar who always plays the same setlist. Which is to say, I like Potbelly, and this is the one closest to me, so I'm glad they aren't profoundly screwing it up. read more
