How and where to start? My experience was terrible. 2 guys showed up and only one was working and sweating, another one was just hanging around. No tools ( screw drivers and etc.),no straps... nothing. I provided tools, scotch. Took them 5 hours to pack me and after 3 hours I was told that they have another client and have to go with me left half way unpacked. I had 2 guys unloading me in Denver and it took them 3 hours with all the furniture assembled. It was day and night experience. Not a happy customer and wouldn't recommend. read more

The only good thing we experienced with this company is they got the job done quickly at the expense of our furniture/household items. They dropped a dresser which we heard them do, two of the drawers were completely destroyed. They hid this by placing them back in the dresser but it was discovered when we unloaded. Had to fix them with a bunch of screws. The dryer knob was sheared off and we had to order a new switch because it didn't work anymore. Every piece of furniture was scratched, broken, or literally destroyed, despite us providing furniture pads. They failed to plastic wrap any items despite promising to do so. We understand damage happens in moves but this was excessive. They were actually talking about the previous move in the day and how that customer was refusing to pay due to damage. When they asked if I wanted to move my big screen and I said no they laughed and made a comment like "not after what you heard huh?" Go with some other movers! read more

After having bad experiences with several moving companies I've hired (4 in the past 5 years), my opinion of moving companies was completely reversed with today's move in a positive way. Greg and Adam were my movers today, and they were absolutely amazing-the best I've ever hired. They had extremely pleasant demeanors, and I admired the way they worked together. I've witnessed many guys arguing & cursing in frustration at each other, but these two communicated well through difficult turns in the house with tricky furniture-always in a respectful manner. Moving is already a stressful experience, so I appreciated their respectful & positive attitudes. They were swift yet careful with the handling of our belongings. This is the second time that I've used Swift Movers. And they have done an excellent job again. Daniel was very attentive to our needs and accommodated a last minute request to move on the same day. Despite my concerns on the feasibility of the move, Daniel and Pete reassured me that their men could move a newly delivered 500lbs kiln safely from my driveway to my kiln room in my backyard. They unboxed my kiln and carefully removed it from the pallet. Despite the uneven ground, their strong men did the move in less than an hour but was very, very careful every step of the way. We were very happy with our experience with Swift Movers. We moved from the Pearl Brewery District to the Medical Center. Swift Movers quoted us an estimated price based on an online request form which we thought was fair. We had two movers arrive with a large truck. They were very polite and respectful and worked quickly. They got all of our belongings out of our second story apartment, drove the distance to our new house, and unloaded the truck in less than 2.5 hours and charged us less than the quoted price. This last week we moved out of an apartment into a house. Vincent and Rudy were quick, careful, professional, and overall amazing. We have has issues with other moving companies breaking and even stealing from us during a move, however, this move was the complete opposite of that. If I could I would give this business zero stars. I had called Swift movers in San Antonio. I had a delay with getting the keys for my new apartment. I called their phone number and I spoke to Clarence . Clarence was able to get me worked in at another time . I waited five hours for them and they showed up but then by then they were saying that it was gonna take three and four hours. I was told that I would get three men I got two men one guy said that he had been working all day and was tired and then there was another guy on the phone and said that's a recipe for disaster and they canceled my move. I think they are very dishonest , I think they try to get money out of you . I don't recommend this company. They became very unhappy When I told him that I didn't have $700 to get them to move a sleeper sofa , a chair, a a 4 chair dinette set it , and a bedroom set. The move should take three hours tops. I don't recommend these people guys. At first the guy ( Hispanic, long hair) asked the other guy ( older , Black male ) to walk everything down the sidewalk.....that's how I know that they were trying to cheat me. Then the guy on the phone lowers the fee by 30 dollars per hour... What good is a discount if it going to take them SEVERAL hours to move you. You've been warned. I waited all day to have a company try to cheat me. That's not right. Look for a better, honest moving company. read more

Had to move a heavy upright piano on short notice and these guys were able to accommodate the move quickly and very professionally. The owners of the piano i purchased metioned they had used the company several times and were very satisfied. Adam, Louie and Felix were great and they handled a tough move safetly. A good experience. They quoted me a time of arrival between 6pm to 9pm, they arrived at 7:29pm. They apologized they would been there sooner but one of their kids had an accident at a Valentine's dance. It didn't bother me because they were still within their time they quoted. They had little trouble getting out my sofa,but eventually got it out. They were fast loading up for it just being the two of them. I met them at my new place. They started unloading immediately. They followed directions well. The only negative thing I can say was after they unloading my couch I started to put the cushions together, I found a damp, wet spot. I asked them about it and they looked around their truck said there wasn't anything wet in there. Maybe suggested it was there before. It was wet enough for it to still rub off on my hands. One guy guessed it could be the sweat from the other guy more cause "he sweats a lot" bald headed. He said it's not water, I said I rather it be water than sweat. Sweat will film up and leave a residue. I treated the wet stain a little bit after we settled in with upholstery cleaner. There's no stain now. I would use them again and recommend them. I was quoted $274 for two guys at a minimum of three hours. They finished around 10. I tipped at 15% which was 41.10 which grand total was $315.10. I have a one bedroom apt size. read more

I literally had 3 days to plan my move...I was going to purchase a house but didn't find a move in ready house that I wanted to move in at the end of my 60 day notice. I worked with my apartment complex to move into a different apartment that was being renovated. Well the apartment renovations were rushed but I still didn't have a key until Saturday (I was told on Wednesday that I could move in on Saturday and I had to be out of my old apartment by Saturday (same day)). On Thursday, I contacted a moving company but they didn't do local moves. I contacted another company but they didn't service the Northeast SA. However, they transferred me to a referral agency that mentioned three companies that serviced my area. The first one was Swift Movers. Joel from Swift Movers called me within 15 minutes of hanging up. He was. Ice and very courteous for I was really nervous about moving but he put me to ease. The day of my move Greg and Will called when they were 30 minutes out (there were a few confirmation calls which I liked). Anyways. I was in a two bedroom apartment but before that for 9 years I was in a 4 bedroom house so needless to say, I had a lot of things to move. I am so disappointed in the management of this company. DO NOT USE THEM. They moved us recently and damaged some goods and ripped our mattress. At the time of the move they were apologetic but now they claim the mattress was ripped prior which is a total lie. They also broke a family picture frame and a leather bar stool.
