Fast and easy experience getting my car smog checked. The name Swift Smog says it all. Hasan (forgive me if I'm misspelling) was lovely and kind. There was a simple outdoor shaded area to hang out in while I waited (for only ten minutes!). Most smog places close at 4:30 or 5:00 pm on Friday. I needed to get a smog and came here because it was open until 5:30. One of the best smog experiences I've had! Hassan (who seems to be there most days) is a super friendly guy. Without charging me, he told me my car wouldn't pass and what I needed to do to get it fixed. I came back again, after following his advice and he got me taken care of. I had an older car (1997 Honda Civic), and the price was better than most other places. I'd absolutely use this place again. I called ahead to see if there was a wait where Hasan picked up and said he could take me right away so I went right over to get my 1997 SUV smogged. Typically older cars take a bit longer as they take an actual reading from the tailpipe, but I was in and out within 20 minutes. Pretty darn fast. This place is a total SCAM! I took my Jetta in last year and it didn't pass smog. Shortly after I had a major medical issue where I injured my knee & required surgery. I called them to explain this & that it would take longer to bring it back in to get re-smogged and they said "Not a problem at all! You have already paid for it so bring it in when you can." I called them last November to let them know it would be this year that I am bringing it in since all the necessary repairs were done to the car & it was ready to pass their smog check. Well, I show up today with my car and they are trying to charge me $50 plus more $$ to send the report to DMV. This is costing way more than I paid for the initial smog check which included a FREE re-smog in case it didn't pass. This place is a RIP OFF & THEY LIE!!!!!!! I pulled up at Swift Smog at about 5:30 on a Sunday when they were preparing to close (YES THEY OPEN ON SUNDAYS). I was welcomed warmly, they honored their coupon which I found on their site and I only paid $38.24 for my smog test compared to other places charging $50 after discount.
