Highest marks, I recommend this. Our Samsung washing machine stopped working right. It's 2 years old and was giving a 5C code at the end of any cycle and wouldn't drain. Just filled with water. A mess. Alex came to look. We took it apart and put it back together thinking it was the water pump. It worked a few times, the price was reasonable. Then it started doing it again. Same 5C code. I am grateful to have found Alex, an honest, thoughtful, knowledgeable, communicative and responsive repairman to be my go-to person for all appliance repairs. I have been a landlord that has been renting out several homes for the past 22 years; in that time I and have worked with many repair people. Alex (aka Oleksandr) is one of the best because: 1. He is excellent at communications - he scheduled us the same day, kept us informed of a two hour window (noon-2 PM) then called at noon to give us a 45 minutes alert, and showed up at 12:45 PM. My working-at-home tenants found this particularly helpful and unusual! 2. He estimated that it would take one hour, and it took one hour to repair our two year old washing machine. 3. He was the only repair person that was willing to provide an estimate before we scheduled him for the job - all the others wanted to "take a look" at a fairly straight forward job - they were unwilling to even provide a range of prices based on hourly rates. Twice this year I have been ripped off by individuals who needed to "look at the job before providing an estimate", once by an electrician and once by a plumber who worked for less than two hours and charged close to $800. Neither of these bad actors where even willing to say how much per hour before they arrived on a weekday during normal business hours. Alex kept to his estimate ($165) plus the cost of a hose that I thought I had, but was the wrong size. Thankfully he had one with him and he charged me a fair price. 4. He is very knowledgeable, thoughtful, respectful and a very tidy worker. I highly recommend Alex for any job that has to do with kitchen or laundry appliance repair.
