I'd gotten an outrageous estimate for doing routine annual maintenance on a dryer, and Max beat that price by nearly half -- charging a very reasonable rate that made far more sense. He answered his phone immediately, gave me a quick quote, and then made time for me the next day. He called while on his way to our house, arrived earlier than expected, and did the work very quickly. I should add that Max was very thorough, very personable and friendly, and made me feel comfortable that he knew exactly what he was doing. Since they do repairs on all appliances, I'll be keeping their number handy and making them my first call from now on. Had an issue with my fridge today. Contacted Max in the morning and he was here by lunchtime. Diagnosed and fixed the issue in less than the 30 minutes from arriving. It was an awesome experience. And he put all the shelves and drawers back the way they were. We had to take all the food out of the fridge so that he could access what he needed to but he worked fast so that the food didn't have to stay out for very long at all. The diagnosis fee was reasonable, as was the final labor charge. Max stayed in touch to let me know when he would be arriving, then worked fast to resolve the issue. Dryer was making horrible screeching sound. Max was prompt, efficient, and replaced needed belts and pulleys. Also cleaned out inside of dryer with was full of lint. Our relatively new-ish microwave just stopped working and I wanted to make sure it was really broken before we purchased another one. I found this company on Yelp (of course!), requested a quote, and Max had gotten back to me within 3 (yes, 3) minutes. After answering some questions, he was ready to make an appointment to check out my microwave, for the $69 diagnostic fee. Luckily, he was available same day! I sent my message at 4:47 and Max was in my kitchen right before 6pm! He was polite and courteous, wearing little booties inside to keep my floors clean. He spent almost an hour with the microwave and even blew out some of his own fuses while checking to see what was the problem. Sadly, the magnetron was broken and it was not worth the cost to replace it, relative to getting a brand new microwave. While I hope to not need Max's services anymore, if we need any appliances checked and/or repaired, Max will be my first call! read more

They are a scam! My Mom was scammed by Quality Appliance on 10/18/25. We phone for a refrigerator repair, I believe the name was Ben, he took her money and mine. Mom has phoned daily 2-3 time since constantly because the repair has not worked and the agent said she'd have someone return back to check things and we have not heard back to date, 10/23/25. If they respond to this review stating that they've come back and resolved the issue, I will be watching and waiting to rebuke them in the name of Jesus! I will let you know if they've returned. Home Depot dropped a dryer off after I purchased install and refused to install because it was a stacking unit, and they didn't bring the right coupling tool to mount the units together. TERRIBLE. DO NOT TRUST!! Asked him for a diagnosis on my oven that wasn't turning on. He came, charged $70 for diagnosis, and said the control board was the issue. Wanted to charge $850+ for part and work. I then ordered the part myself for $390 to save some money. When the part got here, I tried to put it myself and to my surprise, nothing happened. I then realized the problem was a fuse that was CLEARLY burnt and right next to the control board. So either he is very incompetent for not checking that first (a simple $20 repair) or he saw it but didn't say anything because that part was too cheap. I ordered a fuse on Amazon and fixed it myself in about 10 minutes. I asked for my money back and he hasn't replied to this day - and probably never will. Now I'm sitting here with a $390 part that I haven't been able to sell (plus spent about $40 trying to return it but was not accepted), when I could have spent just $20 + labor to fix my problem. My freezer continued to have problems, so he continued to come out and rectify the issue with another part and defrost it again and reset the system so that it properly worked. I'm very disappointed with this service, have a dishwasher that stopped working and I called them to come check. They came by and told me that the electrical wiring was all burnt and that the motherboard was probably burnt to so he wanted to charge me $270 just to replace the cable and not even the motherboard besides the 70$ service fee. I checked and it was still under warranty so I ordered service from the manufacturer and apparently only the cable got loose somehow and now everything works fine. Not pleasant being scammed for no reason so be aware from this company- not trustworthy at all!!! read more

He charged me $65 for that service call as advertised. That was fine. Where it gets funky: he charged me an additional $150 to replace a microwave lightbulb ! I complained very respectfully to him. I had Max come out to check an issue with my Bosch Dishwasher he arrived promptly and on time he knew exactly what the error code was water in the bottom of the dishwasher, as he checked he found the water circulation motor leaking. he quoted me $466.20 minus the $69.00 service call. He was totally honest with me when I asked him what would you do if this was your 10 year old dishwasher and he told me I can fix your problem and guarantee what I fix but bear in mind the age of the dishwasher I would replace it and have peace of mind nothing else is going to go wrong for several years. J reached out yesterday on Yelp and a representative of Quality Appliance responded to my request for maintenance service on my decades old KitchenAid dishwasher. Actually it was not broken so much as it was not cleaning as well as it use to. Alex was here today for the service call. He was kind, knowledgeable and very professional. And most importantly my dishwasher is working great. Alex took the machine apart and I felt terrible. I had no idea a dishwasher could get soooo dirty. But it is a 20-year old machine and after Alex's steaming and vacuuming and testing all of its systems he showed me the ratio of baking soda and vinegar needed to really get to where he could not physically clean it and to it back in good operating order. Our 3 years old LG dryer made loud noises last night (Saturday) and called Quality Appliance Repair today (Sunday) morning. They were completely booked/busy all day but they were able to squeeze us in today and came out during the time they promised.
