I had left instructions of how much to feed her, vet name and number, emergency vet number, etc. , etc. And this is after Devin came into my apartment and I had gone over everything with her! Devin texted me, took pictures and gave me a detailed description of how Mia was doing when I was gone. She cleaned her kitty litter, tried to play with her and even gave her treats! Mia hid from her but by the second day she actually came out of her hiding place. When Devin texted me that, it made me so happy! I did not worry at all about how Mia was doing by being alone because I knew that she was in good hands. I really enjoyed myself without having to be stressed out! It was so wonderful. I will definitely be using them again!

This is an update for Nana's Pet Sitting…read more This past year I have added a 5th dog to my group. At one point it was a foster dog that hated other dogs. Nana's Pet Sitting did a wonderful job at caring for my four and being quite creative at caring for my foster who was fearful around strangers. All was handled beautifully by Heidi and Linda. In the fall and at Christmas (2019) I was away and had adopted a 5th dog. This 5th dog is a puppy. Heidi came in 4 times a day as I always schedule and cared well for all of my dogs. There were medications to be given plus my dogs must be rotated due to one disliking one of my others. With the 5th it has caused Heidi to need more time which Linda gave her and which I agreed to cover financially! That old saying .. you get what you pay for!! She has your pet's best interest and am so glad she is this way!!

It was $40 for a two hour class that taught me nothing of value. For instance, one of the topics was what to do if your dog is bitten by a snake. Linda's Answer: Take them to the Emergency Vet. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. I also found Linda to be downright rude as well as a poor public speaker. She had no time management and completely lost control of the group on several occasions. At one point another guest asked a question and I gave my input and mentioned that I was a groomer. The guest thanked me for my input and Linda told me that she "lost all respect for me" because I was a groomer and then laughed it off. I realize that groomers do not always have the best reputations however; if I am paying you to attend a class the least you can do is not insult me in front of a room full of people. I will never use her petsitting business or take another one of her classes again.

Trust me, this is no easy feat!). Teddy usually falls asleep on the ride home from camp as she's so exhausted from her doggy adventures but you can tell how happy and incredibly well cared for she is during her time away. We've had issues with boarding facilities in the past (check my reviews if interested) which left us hesitant to booking, especially considering the expense that comes with larger breed considerations. However, not only does TCC have better care, facilities, and customer service; they are also easier on the checkbook. Teddy definitely has a home away from home in TCC, and even though our new move puts us another 15 minutes out, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

In fact his love for daily visits to the dog park are why we prefer boarding him over having someone watch him at our home. Club Fetch had the notes from the other facility and chose to give our boy a chance. They sent daily report cards evaluating his behavior with photos and took excellent care of our dog. When I picked him up they said that he was an angel and was welcome to stay there anytime. Club Fetch gives us great peace of mind. We are so thankful to have a safe and loving place to care for our dog when we have to be away.

They then proceeded to look at my records for my pet and stated "You need every single distemper shot in the series to be seen. NC state law." Upon a simple google search, the only shot required by law is the rabies shot (which my dog has). I was refused grooming for no reason by an ill informed staff team. Not to mention the lack of customer service by not having a booking system that works and lack of basic phone etiquette.

When presented with four days of food, he's going to eat all of it and get sick. So it was time to bring Goose to Pet Palace. A wonderful clean facility. Lots of space, lots of light and yes, the cats are in a special side room with an exclusive door. When Pet Palace called and told us that Goose wasn't eating, I headed over to check on him. I brought some of his special treats and got to see exactly how he's spending his time. It's a nice big space - around three feet wide and six feet high with three levels. It's like a little apartment. And yes, clean. With his treats, Goose was happy. And he was happy to have me visit. The location is right in downtown Pineville with ample street parking all around. I also find the inside to be clean. You can see the back a bit which looks sanitary. My only hesitation for pushing to five stars is scheduling. I had to call five times across three days before someone actually answered the phone. There was a voicemail option. I suppose they are so busy which is a good sign though. Next time I'll make my next appointment while I am still there.
