    Summer splash
    Matt J.

This is a great place for a quick refresher. I would go here over Starbucks any day. Plenty of options to choose from. They do not serve coffee but have dirty sodas, energy drinks/ slushies, refreshers with sparkling water, and teas. The service was excellent and I only waited for 8 mins for my drink that line extended to the road. Highly recommended for a summer drink!

My third time was a charm. The first two times the line was way too long. Today I pulled in at 11am on a Wednesday and there was one car ahead of me! I got a large Diet Dr Pepper with sugar free raspberry. It's delicious. I'll be back!

Had to wait in line for about 45 minutes, but that was expected since it was opening weekend. We tried the Shark Attack (Sprite, lemonade, and blue raspberry), Texas Tab (Dr Pepper, vanilla, and coconut cream), and Happy Camper (root beer, toasted marshmallow, and half and half). All of the drinks were good, but the Texas Tab was definitely my favorite. The chocolate chip cookies are also a must try. They're served cold, which sounds weird at first, but they're actually delicious. Looking forward to coming back once the line dies down!

Received a text about opening day at the new Ballwin Swig and since it happened to coincide with the last day of school, we headed over as part of our celebration. Free drinks for both my son and I was a treat, as were the complimentary cookies they offered us. My son had wanted the Sour Patch Kids blue raspberry drink, but they were out of all Sour Patch Kids drinks so he selected the Poppin' Pineapple. I chose a Diet Coke with sugar free vanilla syrup and vanilla cream. Both were very tasty and we would order them again! Looking forward to trying more options in the future. The energy of the workers (seemed a full-on family affair with people of all ages taking orders and running out drinks) was really great and the line moved quickly despite the throngs of visitors. Can't speak to the ambiance inside, but the drive thru ran well.

Dirty Little Secret and Strawberry Breeze

My boyfriend and I stopped by here to grab a little snack and it did not disappoint! I loved the Dirty Little Secret soda that I had and he enjoyed the Strawberry Breeze refresher with sparkling water. The flavors were very good in both drinks! I also ordered some of the dill pickle pretzel bites, and holy cow, I inhaled them!!! I absolutely loved the pickle seasoning and dipping them into the ranch cup provided, immaculate vibes. This is still a new location, and it seems to me that they're working on their kinks as a new establishment. I can see how the parking lot may get crazy at peak hours since it's a bit of a tight space, so keep that in mind. Overall, I'm appreciative of the kind worker who helped us to understand the menu, and the quality of our items. Thanks!

    The drink I ordered.

Our they have a big sale with high priced products, you should get there ASAP like any sale item, it goes quickly. This location has the Dierbergs kitchen upstairs which is cool. Also a seating area for you to sit and enjoy one of the warm large items you purchased from Bobs bbq or freshly made sushi. Drive thru pharmacy with Mercy is also a plus. Plenty of parking too.

Yes, it is that good. I knew I was going to be in the area, so I held on to my grocery shopping list. I was going to be attending a pot-luck and needed the ingredients for my dish. I absolutely love their produce and fruit department, because everything is super fresh and well maintained. Also, the variety and selection of other pantry items, far exceeds a typical grocery store. They'll have a brand or offerings that you don't see at a local store. The lay-out is different from the majority of Dierbergs stores, so I was a little discombobulated while I shopped. Which was fine with me, because it let wander up and down aisles I may have not experienced. When I did need guidance, an associate working the floor got me back on track. Checking out, I avoided the self check-out and went for the full experience and had a cashier check me out. She was fast, efficient and personable as she rang my items out. I know it's not possible, but I wish all grocery stores were like this one.

I called a couple other liquor stores around South County and just got a no, we don't have those. Enter Emily (I hope I got that right) who was so nice on the phone, she walked around the store till she found what she was looking for, the display of Jack Daniels Country Cocktails. She gave me info on what different kinds they had and the cost and told me where to find them when I got there. She was so sweet! She was off by the time I got there but Alec took her place. I got lucky on the best employees that night or something! I found the cocktail bottles I needed and opted to go with the 12 pack in a variety pack. I hadn't been to Friar Tuck in a bit so I wandered around and then went to the front to look at the mini selection. I love the mini bottles and take the time to look at all of them. When Alec was done ringing up a customer, he started pointing out cool mini's. Great attitude and so super friendly. He ended up showing me some really cool glitter drinks and talked about the Advent kit. I walked out with about 6 mini's and the Advent kit of sparkly drinks that will be fun for our annual Christmas party with friends. These two employees are a definite asset to the store. The store has a great selection of everything you can imagine. Besides the mini choices, they do have a section of beers and seltzers that you can purchase individually. Lots of cold choices or purchase off the shelf.
