In town for a concert and saw this place online and had to give it a try. Was able to join a waitlist before leaving our hotel and show up with not much of a wait. Served Richard was very nice and helpful. Food was delicious and the boozy shake was a must try. Also had fun names for menu items [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love at atmosphere and all the sayings on the walls! Very nice vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Classic, I substituted fruit for the Hash Browns.

Ordered The Classic, two scrambled eggs, two sausage links, biscuit and I substituted fresh fruit for the hash browns. Unfortunately, everything came out cool. This was only acceptable for the fresh fruit. This was my first time eating at this location. This hasn't occurred at the Valley Park or Creve Coeur locations. This was very disappointing. The other meal served to our table arrived hot/warm. The eggs tasted awful. So did the biscuit and sausage links. Our server was always checking on us however she didn't ask us about our meals.

Met a friend here for an early (9am) breakfast on a Sunday. I ordered a hash brown skillet with only bacon, scrambled eggs, onion, and cheese. I wasn't into the other meats and vegetables. My breakfast date ordered some kind of vegetable egg thing. So my breakfast was on a skillet but it wasn't really hot. I'm not a breakfast person and I find the menu here kind of lackluster. I know I'm in the minority. I do appreciate the Cholula already on the table. When we left there were people waiting all over the place. I would not wait to eat here. Service was OK.

So much yum! Located in a small strip mall, there is a decent amount of parking available. Be prepared to wait, as this place is hopping! Sunday breakfast was about a 45 min wait, I was told that the wait time is longer if you do more brunch time. I was told by someone that there is an app you can use to check in with when you are on the way, will have to investigate if we are in the area to try again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is large, but sectioned off. We were seated in the bar area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was slow at first, but eventually found a flow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Space was clean - but patrons can write on the walls, etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has quirky names but everything we tried was top notch. Pork belly tacos, breakfast burritos, hash brown bake, and French toast sticks. Everything was quite delicious and we would all order again. I don't know what they did to make the French Toast so delicious, but everyone loved them. I would definitely give them a try!

A local chain in the St. Louis area! We had a fantastic breakfast Sunday morning at the Chesterfield location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is such a vibe with big signs, funny sayings, and writing on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't have to wait at all! Which we were surprised not only because the parking lot was full but also when we left there was a line of people waiting. The food came out quick and really hit the spot. I got the notorious B.N.G, let me tell you it did not disappoint! The perfectly cooked biscuit topped with the creamy sausage gravy served with eggs, hash browns, and your choice of meat. The pancake was also top tier with how fluffy it was. They even had a gluten free menu! I was very impressed

We got right a table right away on a Saturday morning, which was great considering how busy brunch places usually are on the weekend. The menu was very robust and had great kid options as well as drink options. The food was tasty and the coffee hit the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's much bigger than some of the other Shack restaurants and decorated in the well-worn familiar vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a total vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food and drinks are delicious and I do not think you can order anything bad on the menu! The service is quick and friendly too. I highly suggest giving this place a try if you're looking for a fun place for brunch!

We've been going to The Shack for years but hadn't been in a while. We had brunch there on a Saturday late morning and, as usual, they were busy! We grabbed a few seats at the bar instead of waiting for a table. The place is large with tons of seating and always seems to be staffed well. We had menus and drinks right away. We've never had bad service at the locations we've been to, and we had great service again. Our food was delicious! The biscuits and gravy were pretty good - and I'm kind of picky when it comes to them. The gravy wasn't hot enough at all, but I ate it the way it was instead of sending it back. It's back on our radar now, so I imagine we'll be back sometime soon!

Have to give that bartender a shout out because he was amazing. He did a great job of waiting on a full bar and a very party that came in for happy hour. And he was essentially by himself. No bar back. Sometimes other people did lend a hand but he did the bulk of it. When we sat at our table we also had good service. I again ordered beet salad but then got the gnocchi too. The gnocchi themselves were meh but the sauce was very tasty. The ribeye was very good and cooked just right. Side order of mushrooms were a little disappointing. We finished off with the brownie sundae. Best part of that was the ice cream. I mentioned my husband's birthday when I made the reservation but they didn't acknowledge it at all. That would have been fine except for the table next to us got candle etc for someone's birthday.

I'll admit to having driven past Brother's many times, and I now known that we should have pulled in and gone inside sooner. Brother's is part store part restaurant / bar... with an impressing selection of beer and bourbon... and also offering vodka-infused whipped cream... and many spices and sauces to enjoy on the food you eat there, or at home. Three of us enjoyed our beer flights - four glasses apiece; my wonderful wife enjoyed a gin and tonic that is made from the bee pea, so it turns a light purple color when mixed with the tonic - nice! We also enjoyed the incredibly good nachos, Midwest nachos, which were excellent...the chips, meat, sauces all paired so expertly by Steve, the owner... we enjoyed two plates, one with brisket and one with chicken on top. These are possibly the best nachos we've had... much meat and beans and sauce and more on top; solid chips... superb!! Sauce-wise, we enjoyed a Carolina BBQ and a pineapple chipotle sauce... Carolina was quite good; pineapple chipotle was amazing! There were many patrons here tonight, and Steve still made time to welcome and serve us, and to help recommend some beers for me to try - most appreciated. We look forward to seeing you again, soon, Steve!

We had a good time playing pool and there was a male bartender making our first drinks that was very friendly and conversational. We enjoyed a couple rounds of pool and watching the World Cup game then we left before karaoke was about to start. Bar itself has plenty of seating and nice lighting for the bottles. It was very loud when we visited, not because of the karaoke, so it was a bit difficult to speak with the bartenders. I guess people were having a good time! There are lots of drink choices at reasonable prices. There is also food, which I didn't try. For the karaoke, you go up to the KJ get into the queue, and then add your songs across the evening for each of your turns. There was quite a variety being sung. You sing in front of the fireplace. There is a little bit of room to dance around the edges but not much. Despite being a "nonsmoking" bar, there were patrons vaping indoors and there was a cigarette smell inside (perhaps wafting in from the smokers outside?). The ladies bathroom was very clean. There is free parking outside in their attached lot, but you might have to get creative if you get there later in the night, as the lot gets crowded. This bar has a fun vibe for your friend group to go blow off some steam, but probably not a good place to take a first date.

It's in a weirdly large building that looks like a place where you'd go to get lasik surgery. I visited after a run on a day where the heat index was like 109, so I didn't spend that much time inside, just enough to drip sweat all over the front counter and the floor in the vestibule. We sat outside in an area that seems like the place where you'd pull up and unload your luggage at a hotel. A member of our group says she once attended some sort of Xmas pop-up in the basement here where you were charged a cover and then expected to pay for drinks and pizza, so... uh, caveat emptor. We ordered at the little bar up front, but I'm not sure if that's also the case if you dine inside. These places always flip out when there's umpteen different people ordering separately, because they only have but so many of those numbers you set on the table so they know where to bring your food. It ended up not being an issue with us, because who else was going to engage in al fresco dining during a heat advisory? This place serves pizza, but it didn't look that good in the few photos I saw. Granted, food often looks like crap in Yelp photos. Also, there's an emphasis on '90s-style health food, organic ingredients and what have you. There's a Salmon BLT that's featured prominently that seemed like it might be the thing to get, but I didn't know enough about this place to be ordering fish, and I'd already been meaning to eat a bacon cheeseburger for the past several days. Maybe next time. There is no bacon cheeseburger as a separate menu item unto itself. I figured I might just order a cheeseburger and add bacon, but I'm not sure if that's an option, and this wasn't a regular cheeseburger. It had a few different weird cheeses on it, spinach and maybe some other things. Then I saw the Dill-bert, which seemed like it might be really good. It has, among other things, dill Havarti cheese (whatever that is), avocado, and of course, bacon. It's served on a wheat bun, which, whatever. Its name is not a tribute to Scott Adams, as far as I know, but this is Ballwin. The Dill-bert did not disappoint. No Diddy. The beef comes from one of those special farms where the cows are all given names as if they were human beings, groomed on a daily basis by trafficking victims and read bedtime stories, and you really can taste the difference. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit? It did kinda hit the spot, and I probably got drunker than I would have otherwise, because I was suffering from a minor heatstroke, so there was that.
