Burgess Orchards - Peach Sunday 10/10

Burgess Orchards was one of the highlights of our road trip through northern Utah! From the moment…read morewe arrived, it was easy to see why this family-owned orchard has such a great reputation. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating a relaxed, hometown atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The fresh peach we bought was absolutely incredible--perfectly ripe, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the difference that comes from fresh, locally grown fruit. We also treated ourselves to a cherry sundae, which was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect way to cool off on a warm day. The real surprise, though, was the apple cider donuts. We bought half a dozen thinking they'd last a while, but they disappeared much faster than expected! They were soft, fresh, perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar, and easily some of the best donuts we've had. If you're driving through Alpine or exploring Utah County, Burgess Orchards is definitely worth a stop. Whether you're looking for fresh fruit, homemade treats, or just a fun local experience, this place delivers. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area, and we'll probably leave with even more peaches and donuts than we did this time! Check out our video on our socials @reessroots

They were kind enough to give me a little cup on the side. The peaches beginning of September were good although not super sweet. Be prepared to wait a little bit since there's usually a decent crowd. I love that they have a nice little patch of grass to relax on while you enjoy your sweet treat! Not sure when they officially close for the season, but worth looking into before stopping by.

The moment you enter this place, it has a nice, cute Japanese vibe. It has cute booths to sit and hangout. I ordered cremebrulee pancakes and it was heaven in mouth. They are so soft and fluffy. This place is definitely my go to for pancakes. Hoping to try strawberry pancakes next time. It takes 20 mins to get the pancake but it's totally worth it

I've been to Doki Doki numerous times. I think their best dessert is the crepe cakes. I personally…read morelike the passion fruit and ube flavors. The layers are very thin. They are rich in flavor. It's good to see that they're trying to expand their menu items. However, I think they still need to work on refining some items. I didn't like their croissants much. Not only was the taste just alright, but it was also a mess eating it, because every time you take a bite, the cream in the middle will spill out in all directions. The pistachio croissant I got had zero pistachio flavor. Their drinks are also very, very average, and I would not get those again. I enjoyed the panna cotta though. It comes in a cute bunny shape, too. Most of the times I've gone, the wait time has been long, like 20-30 minutes. Sometimes there would only be one staff who would both take the orders and make them. It won't be a problem if you only choose desserts from the window display though.

You know the ice cream is going to be great. This time I had the Chocolate Brownie Bites, or something like that, and Bear Lake Raspberry. Oh man...SO good! After I finished that, I had to go buy another scoop of that Chocolate Brownie Bites. The chocolate ice cream is creamy with perfectly sized chocolate slivers with perfect snap/crunch, and small chewy bites of brownies. SO good. Utah is an ice cream mecca. Snelgrove Ice Cream is one of those good reasons to live here. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
