I enjoyed being able to have my kiddos enjoy the experience as well. There was also anal in which we could throw stuff at - tons of fun. We were visiting from out of town and I'd love to see similar options where I live. I'd go again if in the area.

Even an option for a solo 10 minute session! It appears most sessions are 20 minutes and that was great for us. I also love that they have a bluetooth speaker for your own personal soundtrack to the experience. As they require, long sleeves and pants are a must but I also recommend getting the protective disposable suit. I'd also recommend wearing shoes you don't mind getting dirty or buying some shoe covers if you can. I got some unexpected substance on mine (though it washed off easily). My kids loved the fountain play area, lazy river and water slides, dad loves the lap pool and hot tub. There's a nice variety of paid and "free" classes for both kids and adults, as well as community activities and access to physical therapists and personal trainers. I'm an amateur kettlebell sport athlete and use the facility 4-5 times per week. The staff is generally friendly, helpful and accommodating, they keep things reasonably clean and in good repair and they have a wide variety of cardio equipment, free weights and weight machines to choose from. It can get crowded evenings and weekends, but there's seldom a long wait for equipment. I love ending my workout in the steam room or sauna and a nice hot shower before I head to work. I've had memberships at chain and franchise gyms as well as private gyms. If you're self-motivated and have your own training plan, this is a great budget-friendly option! So grateful to have access to this great facility supported by our community!!

Most of the league times are taken up for women's leagues. Nothing wrong with that IF they had the same for men. But the only men's leagues they have are 4.0 and 4.5 DUPR leagues. I joined specifically to be in a men's league at a reasonably close location. When there weren't any and I called about it they suggested I try the Littleton location because they didn't get enough participants for 3.0- 3.5 leagues. Well, I joined HR because it's convenient and I'm not interested in taking more time to drive a lot farther. Oh BTW, when I visited HR, they advertised a great special for a reduced rate. But went I tried to sign up, they said the rate was only good at the Littleton location. So let's review: they charged me more to join the HR location - but don't have leagues for me; then they told me to go to Littleton, but they wouldn't give me that price to join at HR. If you don't swim you need to dress as if you are because it is super hot and humid in the pool area. The staff were nice and friendly and everything was clean and looked great. Overall this was a great party and I know this rec center offers so much more - basketball courts, swim lessons, a gym, and more.
