As a resident of Highlands Ranch, I belong to the HRCA HOA which offers four rec centers, this one being the furthest from my house. My boys and I enjoy coming to this location for the large open concept of the cardio and weight training area which is surrounded by a 1/10 of a mile track. On the ground floor there's a lazy river, hot tub, resort style pool and a lap pool. We greatly appreciate having these amenities in our community and love that the centers are well taken care of. read more

This place is awesome!! While visiting family in the area we were gifted a 10 guest pass to the recreation centers and used it to the fullest. The water slide is so fun, pool basketball, hot tub, lap swimming pool, pickup basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and tennis available, high quality machines and equipment. The personnel were friendly and warm, even offering to give us a tour of the facility. This is a great facility and I am grateful that my brother allowed my girlfriend and I to use the Eastridge and Southridge centers while staying over. We had soo much fun!! read more

Rented this out for my sons birthday . Myself and every guest was upset. Their customer service is non existent. They said we had two hours for the party and in reality we had maybe a hour. The staff was rude and had no idea what they were doing . I was promised things that weren't discussed to the manager who was there day of. Large, clean gym with tons of equipment. Indoor pool for kids has a lazy river and looks like a ton of fun. Parking lot is a little crammed. I've been a member of Highlands Ranch for over 5 years and am absolutely dismayed by the complete lack of service, professionalism, and communication by the assessment department. They seem to have lost site of their stated mission: to ensure that "operational excellence and customer service are promoted throughout all departments." Very frustrating! read more

Great clean place to go and play with the kids at the pool. They have a great lazy river and a splash station that the girls love. My eldest loves the log challenge as well. I enjoy working out upstairs to start with before joining them. The place is clean and there is usually no wait for the equipment. read more

I had my wedding reception at HRCA, and it was such a great decision! Everyone at HRCA was super helpful, especially Jake, and they set up the room, did teardown, and helped us out with everything they needed. It was affordable, close to home, and a nice, good-sized space that ended up being perfect! Also- the aquatics department is amazing too. Really a beautiful facility that is very well kept. The pools are a lot of fun but the outdoor pool is pretty deep for children under 4 or 5 to be in without direct adult supervision. The indoor pool really is fun and kids are allows in the hot tub with an adult. read more

THE WORST HOA I've ever had to deal with. These people are literally trying to extort several of us home owners at $25 A DAY!!!!!... on TOP of the $160 a quarter... for a few dandelions in our yard. Really??? I mean, let's NOT deal with the millions of dandelions and weeds growing in every park in Highlands Ranch that ultimately seed our lawns. Instead, let's pick the pockets of all the hard working residents that live in this community and threaten them with LEGAL ACTION... all over a weed. Unbelievable. Sadly, I will be putting my home up for sale soon. I am a firm believer in true freedoms and belonging to an HOA is NOT freedom. It's voluntary extortion. This is ridiculous. HOA's need to go. BONUS: And with so much attention our dear HOA goons are putting into our lawns, it seems that auto break-ins are on the rise! What exactly are you doing with the money raised from all your fees and penalties to help keep this community safe??? read more

The facility is nice, everything seems to be relatively new. I went there to attend a swim class on a Tuesday night. I arrived 30 minutes early so I thought I would use the hot tub while waiting for the class. The hot tub jets were not on and there were two adults sitting in the hot tub and 4 small children constantly getting in and out of the hot tub. I asked the life guard on duty if the hot tub was not working. He said it was working so I asked if he could turn it on. He said he can only turn it on if there are no small children in the tub. The kids were getting in and out of the hot tub constantly so when he was finally able to turn in on, it was only on for about 5 minutes. He said they do an "adult only" in the hot tub for a few minutes every hour. This is ridiculous, children under 12 should not be allowed in the hot tub period. Also, when the swim class ended just before 8pm, the life guards announced that the pool was closed immediately. I didn't appreciate not being allowed to remain in the pool even one minute past 8pm to stretch after the class. I did not see any adult leadership on duty, just a lot of high school kids working as life guards. read more

My complaints are 1 ) Sometimes it is tough to get your aerobic equipment of choice during peak hours 2) The parking lot is almost always packed whenever I go 3) No towels are offered read more
