I use their pharmacy and their deli is fairly well stocked. They run specials with their smoothie bar and also have some deals on hot food as well but I haven't had any of theirs before. They have Philly soft pretzels in a little cart by the pasta section but sadly they don't have any mustards out... I think they owe me like 5% of the future pretzel sales when they put out mustard. Parking lot here is a little hectic but it does the job.

In addition to all the sauces, mostly Vietnamese and Korean, there are seasonings, spices, fresh produce including guavas, durian (frozen whole and peeled), baby bananas (apple bananas? not sure the variety) and Asian greens like Shanghai baby bok choi, gai lan, and water spinach, garlic chives and long beans. Didn't see pea vines but they are quite hard to get. Bulk rice and dried mushrooms, and fresh fish and seafood as well as meats including organ meats. Noodles fresh, frozen and dried as far as the eye can see. A small section of housewares. Outside the market (which is in the old Toys R Us if you remember back when) there is a small food court with roast duck, banh mi and pastries. There is also a Korean bbq restaurant and a noodle and dumpling restaurant nearby in the parking area, the Korean bbq is across from the market and the noodle dumpling house is next to where the old Borders bookstore had been (on the way out of the shopping center.) Worth the trip. We enjoy cooking at home, especially Asian food and we enjoy grocery shopping so this was a really fun excursion. And since we eat a lot of bok choi, we'll be back soon.

Too many times I have gotten fruit here and had it instantly go bad. The order at the deli kiosk thing is great in theory. If it's working you should be able to put in your order and then go shopping. However, whenever we go it is conveniently turned off or out of order. So, you have to wait forever to even put in your deli order and then start your shopping. Also, I know this is a Havertown law but they did away with plastic bags so you have to bring your own bags and bag it yourself. Overall, if I have to deal with all that I would rather go to Aldi for half the price.

After a description of what to look for, she sent me here to see if they had it. Yep... They had it. Rangoli is the closest Indian store to where we live, so we are semi regulars. I've personally been to Indian stores with far greater selection. This store will never be able to compare with places in Edison, NJ for instance. But they do very well for a store of their size. Plus, they're my hook up for when I need Parle G biscuits. When I visited India in 08, we drove past the Parle G factory in Mumbai as it is located close to where my wife grew up. Now, Mumbai tends to be polluted and smells like it. But at that moment when we drove past, Mumbai smelled like cookies and it was glorious. So when I want to relive that moment, it's nice that I only have to go to Clifton Heights instead of buying a $1500 round trip plane ticket.

They have sushi and lots of prepared foods as you go in. The bakery has whole wheat rolls and buns, which I don't see often at Acme. The deli has interesting dips and hummus flavors. My wife has gone there via the SEPTA 101 trolley and appreciates the access from the trolley stop for pedestrians. It's much easier and safer than the old location. Visually it's an engaging store. It's well lit and easy to navigate compared to the old store. Prices compare favorably to Giant and Acme.

Vinegar averages $15. The have few sales. Some of the butchers can be rude. It is clean. I rarely shop there because I can't afford it or they don't have what I want like normal cat food. You don't go there for staples or basic supplies, its for gourmet cooking and upscale dining experiences. I prefer the co-op that can be expensive too and has less options because they are so small but they have better sales and more user friendly basic items on the cheap.
