From the beginning, there were red flags, but I wasn't in a place that I could necessarily do a lot about it. Again I had a medical care coordinator who kinda' was doing their job, and was working on getting my services "under one roof" so that I had a chance at a diagnosis... I was dealing with a list of symptoms, sudden onset of vision change, Chorioretinitis, uveitis, a personality change, treatment resistant depression, rapid onset of systemic pain, severe joint pain, sudden fatigue and weakness - when I was an elite athlete 12 years ago - continuing decline in my lung health unrelated to my being a former smoker, systemic muscle spasms, granulomas in my lungs and liver (although they didn't find those liver granulomas until 2024, and still won't acknowledge them,) spikes in bilirubin, night sweats, insomnia, random fevers, cold intolerance, nodules in my lungs (again, they never followed up on either the granulomas or nodules.) I came to UNM with a few issues. Seeking a solution/cause instead of an excuse and drugs. I didn't get the handful of drugs because I charted the drugs they give people (benzos, opioids, and similar) as allergies. They stopped giving me excuses when I questioned and challenged them with current research. They also didn't give me a solution. I've now got pulmonary fibrosis and bronchiectasis. Pulmonary didn't want to chart the PF, and has still refused to chart the bronchiectasis. As far as what caused it all... well I now know, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm now dying, when I could have been treated for years before it progressed to this point. A read of my chart, one single medical professional taking the time to actually read my chart, symptoms, review blood work (contemporary and historic,) and cross with my images would have said: this is such a textbook case is sarcoidosis that we can actually validate the textbook with it. But, no one actually cared to do their job that much. The pictures: UNM was breached, multiple times. They haven't publicly owned multiple breaches, and failed to report them under HIPAA's breach reporting. I am/was a cybersecurity engineer. In order to access their network, you need a few things: access to the IP address schemes, the MAC address associated with an IP address, and access to a computer to pull either login token or login keys from. That can be done in under 1 minute with a rubber ducky. I was left alone with the terminal pictured for over 1/2 an hour. And I was carrying a laptop. Going to UNM is like getting a consult by Dr Josef Mengele, a second opinion from RFK Jr., and then treated by Dr Kevorkian... the difference is UNM kills you more cruelty, with less medical knowledge, and much more slowly, than the 3 mentioned.

The only reason I will not give 5 stars is because the registrar Emily was extremely rude/disrespectful & cold during our brief less than 5 minutes interaction. If you want treatment do not go in when she is scheduled to work if you are already feeling bad you'll feel dehumanized after any interaction with her. My only suggestion would be Please hire employees who are the first point of contact with your patients who are empathetic and not callous.

I can barely tell you what the waiting room looks like because both times I waited less than 5 minutes to be triaged! Every single person who helped me today was friendly, helpful, and compassionate. I went for an issue that I had experienced in the past but last time I went to pres now. The experience was night and day. Albuquerque ER saw me quickly and did all of the necessary tests in a timely manner. I felt like they saw me as a human and not just a patient. While I was at Presnow for 9 hours last time I was out of Albuquerque ER in 3 hours with even better attention to care. Now that I know about this place im never going to another urgent care again. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this facility.

Presbyterian Sleep Medicine Kaseman Providers: Cameron…read moreEklund PA and Robert MA I called this place three months ago to get an appointment because the company that supplies my CPAP supplies told me I had to do this so that I could continue charging against my insurance. I initially got a video appointment with Halley Contreras for the 2nd of March. About February 17th I got a call from Mariah A, to say that my appointment was cancelled and I needed to reschedule. She said someone from the call center was supposed to notify me, but no one did. I asked why this was the case and she could not give and answer. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said that the supervisor would call me. No one called me. I called the call center again and asked for the supervisor's number so I could call her, but they would not give it to me. My question has gone unanswered. I finally rescheduled a video appointment with Cameron Eklund for April 22, 2026. Prior to the call, Cameron's MA, Robert called me to set things up. Then a few minutes later the call started. Both Cameron and Robert did a good job communicating with me and answering my questions. Cameron made a few adjustments to my CPAP that are helping me sleep a little better. So, three stars for Cameron and Robert, but only one star to the Kaseman call center, their schedulers and the scheduling supervisor.

She wrote in my chart that I am an opioid addict and that she prescribed narcan (both of which are lies, and I am currently in contact with my PCP as well as waiting for calls back from every single board in New Mexico about Lauren. Not only have I ever taken an opioid pill (not even for my wisdom tooth removal), I told her straight out that I didn't want pills. She offered me ganglion shots or nothing, and then openly bold face lied about my drug usage. She also wrote that I have "treatment resistant anxiety" which is not true, I see multiple therapists weekly for my C/PTSD and anxiety, and if she were to actually read my chart then she would see that I have and always have had (since I've been going to my regular PCP at 9) a high heart rate with slightly elevated I would avoid Lauren at all costs, and that goes doubly for anyone who is immunocompromised; she refuses to mask and thinks she knows disabilities better than the people who have them. I would give her zero stars if I could. Absolutely the worst care I have ever received in my life. Before covid-19 killed my Mom and disabled me, she told me to never go to Lovelace because it was the worst hospital she'd ever been to. I should've listened, because not only was this a waste of time, but Lauren will be vindictive and lie openly about you in your chart. I will be taking drug tests to prove to my doctor that I take my gabapentin (for shingles post-herpetic neuropathy) as prescribed and the same with my Flexeril, both of which he was happy to prescribe me because this has been an ongoing issue since my first two covid infects in 2020. (Jan 2020 and then Oct. 2020). Lauren will make sure you don't get any care and she will do so gleefully.
