Service is just shit at this point. No greetings, staff act annoyed when you arrive for an appointment and some of the saunas are even pre set at temperatures. I cancelled a month ago but am using my last month as they bill you 1 month ahead. I was 10 minutes late and called to advise. This trick set the timer 10 minutes less because of that. How dare they be technical when I've waited many times for them to scramble and get a suite ready for me. Anywho, try at your own but those who have been coming since it was Hotbox can attest the service is totally different. And I also wanna mention, if your in highschool working here, you're too young to have shitty work ethic! For people paying $100+ for4 sessions you can at least greet us and seem somewhat engaged!

I learned about SweatHouz through a nonprofit organization I'm a member of. With all the COVID-19 concerns, I was very happy to see that they offered private suites. I contacted them on IG to discussing booking an appointment, Stephanie replied back and called me to discuss the services they offer. She was very helpful with answering questions and safety concerns, along with explaining membership options. I did get a little lost when I got there. I did not realize they were in the strip of businesses at the bottom of an apartment complex. Alex was very helpful in giving me directions over the phone to park and locate them. The staff was very friendly throughout my appointment. I fell in love with the suite space. The infrared sauna had the options for temperature adjustment and mood lighting. There was also an iPad in the suite if you want to listen to music, or view something on Netflix or YouTube. There was a sign in the suite with the WiFi information and if you needed anything there was a number listed for you to call. What made my experience was the little things that they provided in the suite. During my booking Stephanie did tell me that they would provide towels and everything but of course I packed a small toiletry bag, mainly because I have sensitive skin. When I got there I realized I did not remember a scrunchie to put my hair up. There was a canister of scrunchies on the counter area along with face wash, lotion, and spray deodorant (which I also forgot). The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also have a hair drying station in the lobby area. The overall experience was wonderful and completely EXCEEDED my expectations! I ended up signing up for a membership at the end of my visit for the Buckhead location that'll be opening in a few weeks. SweatHouz provided the relaxation I needed and I can't wait to plan my weekly visits! I've also told quite a few friends which I'm sure they'll be visiting too.

The SweatHouz was such an amazing experience! My sister and I went for a free service as guests of my mom. Although I knew there would be a sauna, I never expected the experience to be as pleasant as it was. I mean, from the privacy and cleanliness of each sauna, to the chromotherarpy, essential oil-infused cold press cloths and iPad connected to surround sound (for music, Netflix, or whatever); it was all amazing. Not to mention the benefits of the process that you're body feels, especially after that vitamin water infused shower included after. OMG!! I have decided to sign up for my own membership; going 4x a month to any of their open locations. You guys have to try it out!

We read the reviews before coming and said let's try it out anyway, we have been to both spas in…read morethe area and enjoyed them both. We enjoyed this smaller one a tad bit more for several factors. This jimjilbang is less crowded and not over stimulating. They don't have a specific time when you can get mats out, the bathhouse is smaller but offers a steam room, dry sauna and, cold and hot bath for soaking. They offer 4 levels of body scrub, my husband and I got the basic scrub which was equivalent to a scrub you get in Korea and very much worth it. They start at $60 and go up to $190, the higher ones included facials and other stuff (I was told). This is not a place to go if you need a new, glamorous look. It is older looking but nonetheless still serves its purpose. The areas were very clean and kept organized. The staff were phenomenal, no discrimination took place from start to finish. We received a warm reception in all areas, and they were very accommodating. We will be back!!

They refused to apologize, continued to claim he was the same person, and told him he'd be "monitored closely" if he stayed. This created a hostile environment that made us leave immediately. As Black customers, the experience felt targeted and biased. I recommend that Google review the business for inappropriate and discriminatory behavior toward guests.

It…read morewas a nice experience for the $15 trial, and to be able to experience both the infrared sauna and cold plunge for that price (via an IG ad). IMO it's only worth buying a package for special occasions (if you want to treat yourself), however a monthly unlimited or limited memberships are too expensive for the sauna and cold plunge. To make it worth it for the unlimited, you'd need to go multiple times a week. It might be more worth it if you add the gym membership for just a little extra but for the sauna + cold plunge membership, you'd have to go at least once a week for any of the memberships (limited or unlimited), to make sense. They count one session as either the sauna or the cold plunge (not both together). So to get both you have to use 2 sessions, which sucks. One session should include a complete set of both. The gym was completely empty and practically all saunas were too, so i'm not sure how profitable this place is. Only a couple of saunas are supposed to go to 175 degrees. I supposedly used one of those on my visit, but the hottest it ever got was 164 and even that decreased from time to time. They recommend no longer than 20 mins at a time. I more than doubled that time staying 42 mins and still wasn't satisfied with the level of sweat/temperature. Which makes it even more not worth it membership-wise. I need a GOOD sweat and this was lacking that for me. The cold plunge was 47 degrees and they only recommended doing it for 2-5 minutes at a time. It was a great feeling and i'd do it again for $15. But worth it for a membership??? - Uhm not so much. Lastly, after experiencing infrared and because of the temperature concerns of not reaching above 164 F, I much prefer the dry sauna (a la LA Fitness). Yup, I can get that at LA Fitness for a fraction of the cost and leave there feeling great with a high metabolism due to all the sweat. This place didn't make me feel that way. Yes its much cleaner than LA Fitness (depending on which LAF you go to), and there's something to be said for that because you want that in a sauna, but all other things considered, price matters especially for what you get. I wish they would consider lowering the cold plunge prices (considering the short nature of it - it's not like you're chilling in there like you would a hot tub for a prolonged period - so I don't get why it's so expensive); either that or double the number of sessions - for the "limited" membership for that particular service. If there was a steam room too it'd be worth it. Or better yet all 4. Steam room, dry and infrared saunas, and cold plunge You do get a private clean room, vit c filtered shower and towels. There is also an iPad in the room to "listen" to whatever you want while there, including "listening" to youtube (not to be confused with watching)....if that matters - but IMO its pretty standard. I wanted this to be 4 or 5 stars, but it just didn't deserve more than 3 stars at the end of the day overall mainly due to price not matching the services. if I lived in the neighborhood maybe but I couldn't see myself driving 25 mins each way multiple times per week for it. The guy that I spoke to on my visit also said he would follow up the following week. I'm still waiting. Lol.

Each suite is equipped with everything you need to have a great experience including plenty of towels, toiletries for post-sauna clean-up in your private shower, and an iPad to help you set your perfect spa mood. The aroma therapy cooling cloth (in your choice of any of four scents) is a wonderful touch. The chilled, scented cloth will be given to you at the beginning of your session by one of Thrive's amazing staff - each of whom is more friendly and professional than the last - or even Thrive's super personable owner, Lloyd. I expect to continue to return to Thrive for saunas a long time to come.

We live in Nashville and I miss having a Korean spa around after having had many visits to a very large famous Korean spa in Dallas. I have visited ATL before just for a visit to a local competitor which had grown disappointing. We are SO GLAD we visited this place! It was clean and a nice size! Some of these (been to them in Dallas/ATL/Chicago/NY) can be smaller. This one has nice large saunas though not clearly marked as to temp*. I like to know these things. Not one of them was very warm at all but they were all very comfortable. The restaurant area is large as well and has lots of offerings, we tried several different drinks and food during the day. Honestly the food wasn't very good and the drinks are pre-processed so very sweet. We ended up just drinking water. The food we had was a fried. I started with 3 roasted eggs and it was the best thing I had. There may have been better options but we had planned to eat a nice meal that evening so no biggie. The wet area only has 2 hot tubs, both were the same temp* and neither had jets. The showers are nice and clean. The sauna was nice and hot :-) I personally like a nice quiet subdued environment but this one was not controlled that way and got a bit roudy the later it got. We both indulged in services. My husband a 80min massage deep tissue massage and I had the 90 min scrub/oil massage treatment. Both were done very well! My person was "#8" and I would highly recommend her. It is more costly than most to get in - $39 pp. We knew we would be getting services and food so we bought the $500 gift card deal which includes 2 entrances. This easily covered all we spent, including tip, and we had $$ left over but it had gotten very busy so we weren't able to get in for a 30min reflexology session. So we left with money which means we have to Go Back! #GirlsTrip I saw many first timers (forgetting to take your shoes off is a rookie mistake) Do yourself a favor and make time to visit! I would suggest another day than Saturday but if you get there early (10am) and leave by 5pm, as we did, you will still have plenty of time to relax and have services completed.
