AVOID THIS LOCATION!! I purchased a prepaid Contrast Therapy package in February 2024 for $258 at the Sandy Springs location. There is no expiration date listed anywhere on my receipt or email confirmation, and I was never verbally informed at the time of sale that the sessions would expire after six months. The studio was then closed for several months for renovations, which significantly limited my ability to use the package. When I contacted the studio about using the remaining sessions, I was told they had expired and would not be honored. When I asked for documentation showing where the expiration policy was disclosed, or how sessions were extended during the closure, they could not provide anything. Instead, I was repeatedly told "all packages expire" without being shown where that was stated. The only solution offered was that I purchase a new package in order to attach the expired sessions. What made this experience worse was how rude and dismissive the communication was. My questions were met with curt responses, blame was shifted to me, and I was essentially told that if I wanted to leave a negative review, they "could not stop me." There was no effort to explain clearly, take responsibility, or resolve the issue professionally. This was extremely disappointing customer service and poor handling of a legitimate concern. If you buy a package here, get every single term in writing, because if there's a dispute later, you may be met with hostility instead of help. read more

This place was soooo cool! Me & my bf went for a Valentine's Day date. Everything was clean & nice. Loved the flavored water station, the vibes & aesthetic, the sauna & shower (I couldn't bring myself to get in the cold plunge but my bf did!) It was overall just veryyy enjoyable. We would've been down to buy a membership 100% but the closest location is an hour & 10 mins away... we'd even be willing to for a 30 min max drive. Red haired girl working was super sweet. Service is just shit at this point. No greetings, staff act annoyed when you arrive for an appointment and some of the saunas are even pre set at temperatures. I cancelled a month ago but am using my last month as they bill you 1 month ahead. I was 10 minutes late and called to advise. This trick set the timer 10 minutes less because of that. How dare they be technical when I've waited many times for them to scramble and get a suite ready for me. Anywho, try at your own but those who have been coming since it was Hotbox can attest the service is totally different. And I also wanna mention, if your in highschool working here, you're too young to have shitty work ethic! Apparently, management has changed here, and we didn't even know it. We used to go regularly to the point we got (my partner and I) a package where we had two sweat days per month each. But we had to postpone it for months because we bought a house and we are literally broke, but we didn't want to just out right cancel it because we liked it here. But now that there is new management it's a pain our side and she's not being very helpful. I was charged for our packages as it came out of being frozen with zero warning so $79x2 and then to cancel because things have now changed, we MUST get charged again and fill out forms before canceling?! This is ridiculous. We went from perspire to SweatHouz but I'm leaving this place and find somewhere else that doesn't treat their customer base like trash. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I'm trying to be nice to the actual staff that work there. I loved them very much and they were so cool. I'm not sure if they'd be there any longer after change of management based on how my partner and I are being handled. I'm not going back to use the credits because I don't have time due to work and grad school and I didn't ask for this to be unfrozen. If there was new management and we weren't allowed to have it frozen anymore, someone should've called like our gym did after quarantine for example to WARN us. Not to mention, the fact we have to almost back pay before canceling is absurd. read more

I learned about SweatHouz through a nonprofit organization I'm a member of. With all the COVID-19 concerns, I was very happy to see that they offered private suites. I contacted them on IG to discussing booking an appointment, Stephanie replied back and called me to discuss the services they offer. She was very helpful with answering questions and safety concerns, along with explaining membership options. I did get a little lost when I got there. I did not realize they were in the strip of businesses at the bottom of an apartment complex. Alex was very helpful in giving me directions over the phone to park and locate them. The staff was very friendly throughout my appointment. I fell in love with the suite space. The infrared sauna had the options for temperature adjustment and mood lighting. There was also an iPad in the suite if you want to listen to music, or view something on Netflix or YouTube. There was a sign in the suite with the WiFi information and if you needed anything there was a number listed for you to call. What made my experience was the little things that they provided in the suite. During my booking Stephanie did tell me that they would provide towels and everything but of course I packed a small toiletry bag, mainly because I have sensitive skin. When I got there I realized I did not remember a scrunchie to put my hair up. There was a canister of scrunchies on the counter area along with face wash, lotion, and spray deodorant (which I also forgot). The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also have a hair drying station in the lobby area. The overall experience was wonderful and completely EXCEEDED my expectations! I ended up signing up for a membership at the end of my visit for the Buckhead location that'll be opening in a few weeks. SweatHouz provided the relaxation I needed and I can't wait to plan my weekly visits! I've also told quite a few friends which I'm sure they'll be visiting too. read more

Received a gift certificate and wanted to use this location as it is the closest to my house. I have called MULTIPLE times. Phone rings and rings - no answering service. I have sent messages through Facebook - get an automated written response. Even used a cell number I found on their Instagram page (posted once when the power was out or something). Nothing. Nada. Thought this location might've gone out of business but it doesn't appear so when I've driven by. I resorted to using the Vinings location- once- and guess what? They don't like to answer the phone either. Weird service model they've got going. Membership here would be a hard 'no' for me. read more

Let me just start off by saying I luv SH, I luv the new plunge in every room. So I've been coming to SH off and on since it first open and the service from the start to now has plummeted. I now wait every single time I come, they rush to clean which makes me hesitant to sit in. I've never known them to use as much bleach as they do, which I had a headache when I came thinking that relaxing in the sauna would help but how when I'm smelling bleach. Also if you get 30% food grade peroxide it's much safer than that toxic bleach. Idk about this new crew. read more

The SweatHouz was such an amazing experience! My sister and I went for a free service as guests of my mom. Although I knew there would be a sauna, I never expected the experience to be as pleasant as it was. I mean, from the privacy and cleanliness of each sauna, to the chromotherarpy, essential oil-infused cold press cloths and iPad connected to surround sound (for music, Netflix, or whatever); it was all amazing. Not to mention the benefits of the process that you're body feels, especially after that vitamin water infused shower included after. OMG!! I learned about SweatHouz through Millennials of Atlanta. They are opening a new location in buckhead and had a great promo to try it out and become a member. I opted to try it because i've heard so many great benefits for adding a sauna routine into your life. The staff was very friendly throughout my entire stay. The infrared sauna had the options for temperature adjustment and mood lighting. They even texted me before hand to get my preference on a therapeutic scent for a cold compress and what music station i wanted it set to. They keep an iPad in the suite if you want to listen to change your music station, or view something on Netflix or YouTube ( super cool ). They also had signage posted in the suite with wifi information as well as a number to call if you need assistance with anything. At the end of my sauna you are able to use the showers in suite that are infused with vitamin c! The overall experience was AMAZING! I definitely ended up signing up for a membership for the Buckhead location. read more

I went yesterday for my $20 session as a first time user, it was fantastic. I ended up leaving with an unlimited monthly membership. Place was so nice and cute. Private rooms with showers and all the essentials you need. Bonus: they have a blow dry bar available so you're not leaving with wet hair. The girls behind the desk were knowledgeable and so sweet. Definitely made me feel comfortable my first visit. Only Cons I have: 1. Parking is limited. 2. No swag items for signing up and becoming a member (water bottle, bag, shirt)--nothing. My first experience at Hot Box was nothing short of amazing! I booked the 60 minute infrared sauna and will definitely be coming back. They have a full-spectrum infrared sauna with chromotherapy (color therapy), bluetooth service, and vitamin-c showers. As a germaphobe, I want to mention this location is incredibly clean and sanitized. The iPad/bluetooth connection makes time go by quickly. This was such a great experience! Today I went with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our own private suites. We were able to watch Netflix and relax. They offered more than I anticipated (deodorant, body wash, shampoo, etc.). I'm skeptical about beauty treatments and enhancements, but the results were visible. Tons of sweat. I love SweatHouz. However, my experience at the Sandy Springs/Roswell location was not great. My boyfriend tried paying using a card that he has used befor. The two ladies (I wish I could remember their names) were not helpful at all! They just were rude and nasty. It seemed as if they were trying to undermine him. When asking why the card would not work there was no Answer other than "the numbers do not match the card" they did nothing but try and swipe the card how does the numbers not match... so after multiple attempts and them being less than helpfu, I tried my card. They stated to me it was not working eithe, not once did I get a notification that said declined payment or anything and I have Navy Federal and the app does realllll well with notification. So I call my bank right there on the spot, I was informed no transactions we're being made. So I asked the lady that was swiping my card is she even actually attempting the transaction she said yes, and offered for me to see her screen. All of a sudden the transaction worked. Very suspicious. So she takes us to our suite and it was very busted. Like they were redoing the tile. After already having a horrible check in, I just didn't even feel like going through the process of moving rooms etc... overall our sweat was amazing, we obviously had a nice time while we watched a movie and just had a great sessoon. But the customer service experience at this location was horrid! read more

Randomly started charging customers a monthly rate to freeze accounts though not mentioned in contract. Luckily cc company will reverse the charges for me but wanted to highlight publicly. read more
