The staff was extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped with any questions that we had. The owner was super friendly and also said she just opened a gift shop down the street and also lives in town. Her brother and one of her employees helped us the day prior and they live in town as well. They also have a coffee or tea to sample on a table in the seating area. There are a few tables to sit at and a couch and chairs in the seating area. They were 7 of us so we enjoyed many items on the menu. The highlights were vanilla chai latte (my fave), the peach tea, and the s'mores latte. There are plenty of items in the shop for purchase related to tea and coffee and you can browse for quite a while. I highly recommend this shop and the delightful owner and I will certainly stop in again.

We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. Having stayed at an inn just down the road, we wanted to get a hot tea to warm up before our day off walking around town. We are so glad to have found Sweetea's! We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day. We were able to started parked in the lot while at the visitors center and the shops in the surrounding square which was very handy. Loved this place, will definitely be back next time we visit Brown Co!

It turned out, they had to make my iced tea special, because they weren't allowed to use the tap water because of some boil order that was established in the area. OK! They were able to pivot and make me my unsweetened ice tea with bottled water, instead. My iced tea was great and just what I wanted. What customer service! I wish I wanted some baked goods while I was here, because this place has all of the homemade-looking baked goods. Peanut butter cookies in a Tupperware container, bread pudding covered in plastic wrap, apple pie in a metal pie dish. All of the baked goods look like they were made by someone's grandma. And they looked like they were labeled by someone's grandpa, carefully, in grandpa handwriting. Nashville General Store has a breakfast and lunch menu along with baked goods, with a big indoor dining room that you can sit in and enjoy your meal. Breakfast foods include pancakes, quiche and breakfast sandwiches; lunch options include things like sandwiches, soups, salads and sides. This place is also a store. You will find things like jams and canned goods, home decor, and lots more stuff with a country aesthetic. It's a cute place to visit to grab something to eat or drink, and look around.

The breading is a house recipe and is crunchy like an onion ring. Delicious! Each tenderloin is breaded and cooked to order and served on a house baked cornmeal bun. The sweet potato fries are served with a spicy jam for dipping. I wasn't sure but it's delicious! There is a shopping area with seasonal decorations and house seasonings and sauces. Mostly stuff you'll find all over Nashville. The dining area features mix n match furniture with a country kitchen vibe. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to your table. We spent $45 for lunch for two but it sure seemed worth it.

I had anticipated my visit for a little while now but I can imagine I'd be delighted to find this spot on an adventure through the area. The vast plant nursery was also delightfully unexpected. The inside of the Farmhouse is just like a farmhouse, with the most charming interior that feels like Thanksgiving dinner with a collection of all the tables and chairs that you could find in your house to host everyone. First course, delightfully unexpected, was queso and chips! Free of charge, we were served a nice Rotel-style queso dip with multigrain chips. Yum! The tea selection is nice, it's all bagged teas that you get a small pot of. I got a salted caramel tea. Delish! Delightfully unexpected! I got the chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips. I love a chicken salad sandwich and this one hits the spot. We split a slice of peach pie for dessert that was just lovely and warmed up for us. All courses arrived pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend a stop to the Farm House on your trips to Brown County. I hope I can make more road trips in my future plans as soon as I can so I can visit again!

They deliver a bowl of warm spinach & cheese dip with stone ground chips. Very tasty. It took a little longer to be served as today was extremely busy with several large groups. Our table tried the chicken salad sandwich, ham sandwich, chicken, BLT wrap and vegetable quiche. All dishes are served with a side of potato salad, fruit or seasoned chips. The servings are plentiful and flavorful. The chicken salad is seasoned with dill and tarragon, nicely balanced. The chicken BLT was filled with chicken and bacon. The ham sandwich was a bit skimpy on the amount of ham. The quiche was a bit overcooked. All in all it was a delightful girls outing as we also walked around the flower and herb garden. We would return.

There is a commercial lot across the street from the restaurant. There is also free street parking within a reasonable walking distance. They do not have an indoor dining area. They also have orange and lemon shake ups. Please be sure to check out their daily specials. The staff there was very friendly. I got the sloppy joe with some chips and a lemon shake up. My food was prepared very fast, less than 5 minutes. I at my food on the upper patio. There was no shade up there so it was very hot. I had to eat fast. I was not a fan of the shake up. It was a bunch of ice and did not have as much flavor as other shake ups that I have had. The sloppy joe was pretty good, very flavorful and tasty. I recommend checking this place out if you find yourself in Nashville, IN.
