I asked for eyebrow threading and upper lip. I loved my threader. Her name is Nisa (might be spelled differently) and she was so funny and easy to talk to. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but going to a new brow place always feels like a risk. There is always the fear of potentially getting your brows messed up. Nisa and I laughed about this. I told her I wanted my brows thick and long. She determined a light clean up with be good for them and I was really happy with the results. We giggled about past nightmare brow stories and how threading one side of the face can be more painful than the other sometimes. It was good convo and above all else a good experience. Eyebrow threading is $15 and upper lip was $10. I'm looking forward to returning and getting my brows done here again.

On walking in for my first ever visit, I was shocked to be greeted in a bright, clean, and very quiet spot. I was the only customer and was quickly greeted by Nisa. I appreciated that she asked what service I'd like to get and I asked her the cost ahead of time, as the service list was scrolling across the digital screen and had already passed the threading services. She told me to have a seat and then went to wash her hands, and came back to begin my eyebrow threading service. She was nice and personable and asked me how I like my eyebrows. I thought it was a nice gesture that she recognized that I had never been to the business and usually go elsewhere, so she acknowledged wanting to learn more about the thickness I like and shape. She worked quickly to clean up my brows and while working a couple of other customers came in and she was able to greet them while still providing my service. She was patient and kept providing the mirror for me to provide feedback to her on whether I was happy with my brows or if I wanted her to continue working to remove any fine hairs or to continue improving the shape. This visit definitely exceeded my expectations because I was not expecting it to be personable and to have someone so patient who really did value my happiness with my brows. Overall great service and I would recommend this place to others for your brow services. I will definitely return. I also think this is a newer location and she did tell me they have been on West broad for many years, so seems like a place with a good history.

I had just finished shopping for a dog carrier at the Tractor Supply store (yes many things are different for me down here compared to Brooklyn) and hit a moving wall and just needed a manipedi immediately. This small salon is in the same strip mall. Objectively, I can't recommend it. The set up is not particularly clean, they don't have Opi or Essie polishes, and a manipedi still cost $30. I brought my own Essie polishes (I travel prepared even to the tractor supply store) but, overall the manipedi didn't last long. However, it did seem like they had many repeat customers (the two employees were chatting with customers they have clearly known for some time). Perhaps if you're getting an acrylic set the prices are better? One positive was that she did an extensive hand and foot massage.

I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years, so I understand that there are usually three reasons for lifting: cheap products, poor application, lack of and/or use of a proper bonding agent. In this case it's definitely cheap product. Not to mention the nail tech was on a FaceTime group chat the entire time he was doing my nails. Interestingly enough as I was checking out, his next client who appeared to be a regular based on their interaction had half of her nails missing on each hand. Now I know why. I went in expecting them to rush me through and just try to get me out, but they did not. I paid $25 for a "standard pedicure". (They also had the deluxe pedicure for $35.) The standard was awesome! I got all of the standard pedicure things (nails cut, cuticles cut, foot massage) as well as exfoliating on my legs, lotion, hot stones, and hot towels. It was AMAZING. This nail salon is a great deal! The staff was very friendly and I will definitely be returning.
