When we bought our home it already had an extremely small sunpower system installed. We reached out to learn what could be done to improve the situation, add a battery for off grid solar operation add emergency backup. Most companies couldn't be bothered to help us. Of the three willing to spare time to talk to us, Synergy provided the best experience up front. A great experience that continued throughout our business with them. The owner personally met with us, explained the value of the sunpower system, made no effort to deflect or diminish the reality that it wasn't the least expensive option, and could answer our technical questions about installation, operation and maintenance. We wanted a back up battery primarily to allow our solar to run off grid. This was the only company that didn't try to talk us out of that. The install was handled by a mix of direct and subcontractors but it was well managed and went smoothly. It was not without hiccups, but there were zero customer service issues. We are now producing right at our average use - they nailed the calculation for load. We have enjoyed backup or off grid solar several times now during local outages. We did also have one post install issue that took our battery offline over a weekend. The owner came and fixed it Monday evening no questions asked. I highly recommend.

I never did a bad review to any one till now..This is the first time i was giving 1 star, if there was zero i might have chose that one. I have been i touch with Synergy from Nov 2022 reporting that my Solar panels werent generating. They initally came and mentioned that i need to buy envoy to see the issue. As per their advice I purchased the envoy. After that also i have sent all my PGE bills and my True-up statement and mention that there is issue in the production also if needed i am willing to add more panels. One rep came and evaluted and mentioned that they will get back to me. However they didnt , i followed up and called them and they told they were busy with the new customers and they cant take this right now about adding the new panels/patio installation with Solar. Again from last week i have been emailing that my solar production is very very low. We have almost 23 panels but it is genarating 0.02 KW on very sunny day. So is that meaning that once we are customer to them , they dont want to consider or respect us good?

If you are looking for solar for your home or business look no further and schedule with Synergy. Edwin is fast, easy to communicate and provides excellent work. The installation and set up was speedy yet very surgical and professional. Communication and scheduling was top notch.

After getting quotes from numerous solar installers, we settled on the great people of Synergy 768. Very professional and courteous from the initial sit down to the very end of the project. Ed kept us informed throughout the whole process which took less than 2 weeks. He also explained to us how to track everything through the Tesla app. We also had them install a wall charger for the car. If you're thinking of installing solar and storing energy with the Tesla battery, give these guys a call. You won't be sorry.

Thank you for completing my yard !

You won't find anyone better in providing excellent customer service than Edwin. The owner of this business takes the extra time to make sure things are done right , above code and up to the highest level of expectations. He is very meticulous, professional , prompt and above all else , builds relationships with customers. He is a business owner that understands that work quality and time matters to all of us! He is not a pay and done individual as he will follow up with you to make sure you are satisfied and he make sure his employees exhibit the same qualities. As experience and qualifications goes , he is certified general contractor in California, an actual electrical engineer and has worked both locally and abroad with big telecom companies. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up all the way !!

I've called around for my Tesla charger installation and Synergy 768 had the best price. Customer service as well as installer Dong were both wonderful! The owner Ed even thanked me for trusting their company. Overall- highly recommended!!!!!!

My first SunPower Solar System was 5.550 kw . The system is really great helped me out a lot charging my Tesla. Customer service was awesome and his workers are very professional and courteous. After a year I had to upgrade my system to an additional solar panels and I decided to get the SunPower SunVault Energy storage system to maximize my savings. The added benefit is I will always have reserve power just in case of an outage. The other added feature I like about the SunPower SunVault systems is the safer Lithium Iron Phosphate chemistry and the more powerful 6KW inverter. Again Ed and his crew has again exceeded my expectations regarding the quality of workmanship and professionalism. I am looking forward to increasing my SunVault energy storage size in near future to be total independent from the power grid.

    Tesla Powerwall

We had a Tesla Powerwall installed by Synergy 768. We selected Ed's company from the bids we received based on his experience, knowledge, and understanding of what we wanted from the system and how it would work with our existing solar power and electric car charger. We are very happy with the system and especially with the attention to detail paid by his installation team. Their work is beautiful. So neatly done! They come in, go to work, clean up everything and off they go...friendly, polite, focused. A homeowner's dream. We highly recommend them.

The crew and all of the people at United solar Electric were very responsive and professional. I would, and will do business with them again, (adding an additional battery). PG&E was a problem. PG&E was very slow with providing PTO (permission To Operate). We did not receive PTO until end of May 2026, over 6 months from the date when system was operational. PG&E will need to upgrade transformer (December ???) before we can send greater that 2000 watts back to the system. Right now, we have conditional permission to operate, limiting output to PG&E to 2.2 KW. To United Solar Electric's credit, they were with us the entire time dealing with PG&E and were just as irate with PG&E as we were. Thank you, United Solar Electric!

We were interested in solar for our 1940s home and provided a deposit in good faith. However, after further inspection of our roof and the overall project viability, we decided not to move forward. When we requested our deposit back--before any equipment was ordered or installation began--the company initially refused, claiming it was 'passed' the point of a refund. It was a high-pressure situation where we felt they were trying to lock us into a contract we weren't comfortable with. While we did eventually receive our deposit back after pushing the issue, the initial refusal to return funds for work not performed was a major red flag. Homeowners should be very careful with the fine print here. If you are looking for a company that values transparency and customer comfort over just 'closing the deal,' I would suggest looking elsewhere. We're glad we didn't get stuck with them and are instead putting that money into improvements that actually fit our home.

She stated she would let me know when a service appointment could be finalized. Didn't hear anything and honestly I forgot about it until January. Called again in January and supposedly Charlotte was pretty good at NOT following up with customers according to person I spoke with. Well the response was better this time. They came out and tested "installed modules" and submitted claim on my behalf with Canadian Solar. That claim was denied but after consulting with SolarEdge they identified that it was related to the optimizers rather than the solar panels themselves. Optimizers were replaced and now different panels are not working properly. After back and forth for 4 more months now it's the panels that are bad BUT not bad enough to warranty. Very interesting. I'm hoping someone in the company with integrity will read this and fix the situation. When I purchased my solar from West Coast Solar I was told and I quote "you got bumper to bumper 25 year warranty everything is covered". Well apparently it isn't.

After installation it took 6 - 8 weeks of constant emails and phone calls multiple times per week to get them to resolve the installation issue (circuits missing off the backup loop) and correct my storage profile for charge/discharge. Trying to get their help both times after that has been equally atrocious, and with my system currently down I emailed the, and opened a ticket on their website (where both their phone numbers are non active) and it took another week to get a response. We got a recommendation for Del Sol from one of our friends that was happy with their process and service. We reached out to Elvin and he was able to send us over a proposal very quickly based on whatever tool they used to see our roof. He provided two options for our roof, a 19 panel configuration and a 21 panel configuration. We decided to go with the 21 panel configuration for our roof and it estimated putting us at 98% of total output. After looking at the cost of the system, we didn't think we would be able to get it for a couple of years, but Del Sol offers multiple financing options. We decided to use the local credit union for financing. After we decided on the configuration and got the financing locked down, the turnaround time was approximately three weeks. Which was a whole lot faster than we would have anticipated. Installation took a total of two days with the city inspector coming out the second day. After the installation, paperwork has to be submitted to PG&E to be turned on, which took about 10 more days. Bird proofing for our panels was part of the package and it was done a few days after the final install. Our Conclusion: So we've had our panels for about four months and are extremely happy with them. The process went extremely fast. Supporting local reputable companies are very important to the wife and I, for us it definitely felt like the process was very streamlined to the point of being overwhelming. Using reputable local companies for our home improvements has definitely paid off in spades. Del Sol already installed panels in our neighborhood and knew exactly what our HOA required. The permits were pulled in a timely manner, and inspection was scheduled and concluded on the final day of the install. The major hiccup we had was we wanted to get our roof. Inspected prior to the install. The installation team was very professional, and courteous to us during the install and checked in with us every day with what to expect for that day. The final solar manual was delivered by Elvin and he went over everything in it, which also included the app used to track the performance of your system. Everything was laid out and explained as far as all the warranty information and what to do when the county sent you that "home-improvement" letter. I shared our whole story for people that are just looking into getting solar and wanted to know what they might expect. If you're a Brentwood local, and you decide to go with Del Sol, you won't be disappointed. The quote was very comparable to all the others we received. Elvin's service and knowledge was outstanding and the installers were professional and efficient. Also being able to use a local credit Union for financing was an additional plus for us. Yes, I would recommend them for your solar system needs.

We loved that we were treated like actual people instead of a number in a queue. Given that there was a slight backlog of jobs they had to work through we were assured that we would have our system fully installed and activated before the end of the year, which we did! It was great working with Nick who was our onsite rep and Juan was always available to answer any questions we had by phone (of which I had many). I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. He also walked me through: Proper panel selection within voltage and amperage limits Safe string configurations and series wiring How to maximize roof space while staying within code Permitting requirements I hadn't been told about before On top of that, Carlos identified critical code and safety requirements that no one else mentioned: Bollards required in the garage to protect battery units Correct battery placement to maintain required clearance from doors and entrances Heat detector requirements for battery installations in a garage These are all things that would have caused inspection failures later -- and Carlos caught them immediately. He spent well over an hour with me, climbed onto my roof to check for obstructions, inspected battery placement, reviewed wiring paths, and answered every question in detail without ever rushing me. What truly sealed the deal was how efficient and transparent the pricing process was. Carlos was able to turn around a detailed quote very quickly, and when I received it, I was honestly surprised -- it was a significant amount lower than every other quote I received, even though his evaluation was by far the most thorough. Given everything: His technical expertise The level of detail and care The ability to integrate with my existing system The fast turnaround And the much better pricing Choosing Sunlight Electri-Cal Solutions was a complete no-brainer. Carlos is knowledgeable, meticulous, honest, and genuinely passionate about doing things the right way. After meeting him, I completely understand why this company has such strong Yelp reviews. If you're in the Bay Area and need electrical or solar work done the right way, especially for a non-standard or custom system, I highly recommend Carlos and the team at Sunlight Electri-Cal Solutions.

The materials arrived on Jul 24, and Martin and his crew, showed up right on time at 7:45 AM on Jul 27. They worked incredibly hard, efficiently completing most of the installation that day and returning the next day to finish the remaining panels and cleanup. That evening, seeing our panels generating solar energy for the first time was an amazing feeling! PG&E installed the Tesla Backup Switch a few days later, and everything seemed to be moving perfectly - until our Livermore city inspection on Aug 7. Unfortunately, we failed because an approved heat detector had not been installed. I was extremely disappointed. It felt like having an amazing present sitting right in front of me but not being able to open it! There were a few additional hiccups, but Jason stepped in, took ownership of the heat detector issues, and worked to get everything resolved. We finally passed inspection and received our permit on Aug 26, followed by PG&E Permission to Operate (PTO) on Aug 28. A huge thank you to the entire Synergy Power team: - Martin, Eliel, Manuel, and Nate for the excellent installation - Rebekah, Melissa, Mark, and Amy for keeping us informed - Jason for stepping in and getting the final issues resolved Overall, we are extremely happy with our solar system and grateful to the entire Synergy Power team for seeing the project through from start to finish. Thank you, Synergy Power, for a job very well done!
